Recently bought thousands of dollars Inventory of JB, decked a whole house out, theyre no where near as good as used to be nor work with significant purchases anymore. Went in days later bought bunch of Google products. Went in today to buy another google chromecast at same price as otherday for $55. And the girl at counter was so rude and just defaulted to refusing to match their own proce from the outset when asked can you do the same price as the other days solo item. Told her had been shopping there for over 22+ years possibly longer than the girls been alive, but os besides the point, so didn't want to say anything. As usual was very polite with them but last two visits they've been quite brutal with their attitude toward those who make selling easy for them. Having run my own 180sq mtr retail store. The rookie staff need to learn its not a granted that we'll buy the stuff we maybe looking at especially if they bring their attitude to work, customers not always roght. But a request (not a challenge ir debate) shouldnt be met with attitude no doubt would seem common sense. Last two experience tell me JB HIFI Very much NO LONGER appreciate their customers. Short haired girl at counter, was just being difficult, also misleading me saying only sales reps could price drop, but wasn't true as last price drop was discussed at counter also. After maybe $200,000+ purchases over 20 years (2 as a wholesale customer), today felt no longer giving my business to JB HIFI. Just way too rude and disrespectful unless in proccess of actually converting a sale, seems they couldn't care less.

JB Hi-Fi Wantirna South - Knox Visited on 4/8/2021 Time to check out what's new in the computer / tablet market. Since Victoria is in lockdown, it is expected the shop to be very quiet. In fact, all the shops and restaurants in Knox O-Zone, where JB Hi-Fi is located, is rather lifeless. It is a typical JB Hi-Fi store, bright, with plenty of floor stock including very large screen TV and computers and accesories. I explain to my wife various computers including laptops and 2-in-1 laptop tablet combo on display. We cannot see any Samsung tablets in the area, so I ask one of the sales staff where they are. He points to the direction of the display area. With hardly any customers in the store, I feel that the staff could provide us with much better service, by taking us to the spot. Even though I may not need the extra attention, he should have asked a few more questions to find out our requirement, and demonstrate some marketing skill. There are not that many Samsung tablets on display. It could be that many have been sold and not replaced. I reckon the staff need to pay more attention to customer service. They should not assume the potential customers know exactly what they look for, or have enough knowledge of the products, or understand the capability of the product. Furthermore, there is not a need to have two people standing near the exit chatting away. In short, I do sincerely recommend JB Hi-Fi conduct some staff training in customer service and marketing.

How does a true salesman let you walk out the door when they were guaranteed a $2500 sale at least? Yep unfortunately and I have no idea how this happened but we went into JB Hifi Knox City and after spending about 30 mins deciding which TV to buy the salesman then said they didn"t have one in stock but other stores had them. When asked can we get one from another store and have it delivered he said "NO" unless we were going to get it installed and mounted at our cost. We said we didn"t need this service as it was not being mounted. He then proceeded to try and talk us into another smaller model because then the free delivery installation they were advertising didn't apply. We were so flabbergastered that they had no quams about letting us walk out the door. absolutely the worst customer service ever experienced and we will NEVER shop there again and possible NEVER shop at JB Hifi again. We later went to Harvey Norman in Springvale and bought the exact same TV for a better price and with the best customer service I have had in a very long time. JB Hifi Knox City you disgust me

Customer service seems to be a bit of hit and miss depending on your luck and staff on the day. This review is based on my latest experience this week and I concur with a few other users where staff isn't very friendly/helpful even when the store isn't overly busy. Apparently delivery fee through JB hifi website is different to purchases in store. Website quoted $20 delivery but is $50 if buying in store (why is that??) Sales guy who first served me wasn't interested and was annoyed when I needed more time to check details. Also said I could only use max $500 worth of gift card for the purchase as I suspect they were inundated with many transactions using discounted gift cards (to me, this is again poor customer service). Note: I have had pleasant experience in the same store April this year when purchasing a phone (with a different staff member), so was disappointed with the service this week.

I placed an order 3 weeks ago and there were more than 50 products in the stocks available in the system according to the customer representative at the store. I was convinced that product will be delivered within 3 weeks. I didn’t received my product on excepted and contracted the store now there are telling me that item hasn’t been allocated for my order still which was placed 3 weeks ago and now there are out of stock for that product and asking me to wait till next stock arriving. People buying stuff because they needed them and offering refund is not an option for their mistakes after waiting so long to get delivered their product. The easiest solution they are providing is refund. What is happening to the customer time wasting and counting days for receiving the product they have already paid. Really disappointed with such an attitude of JB Hi-Fi.

The store manager, Cameron was extremely rude and unhelpful. I purchased a faulty product and when I asked to return it, the store advised me that they weren’t accepting returns due to lockdown. I returned the item after lockdown and then they refused to refund it and insisted on repairing it. They finally agreed to refund but not for the insurance. They wouldn’t even give me what the insurance company asked for in order to refund me, just something in writing to prove that the item was faulty. I ended up losing money because JB hi fi sold me a faulty product and insurance that I didn’t need because the product was faulty. Worst of all, Cameron was difficult and rude. I highly recommend avoiding this store.

Went here to buy a new phone a couple of weeks back, the young lady wanted me to go on a contract with Telstra, I mentioned I had a bad experience with them so I would prefer to pay outright and knew the phone I was after. She then proceeded to walk away and told me I would be wasting money and never attempted to retrieve the phone I was after, I had to flag down another guy to help me who then literally said "I cannot let you buy a phone until I have ran you through the plans after I told him about my experience I just had" I ended up leaving and going to another JB, perhaps train your 12 year old staff that you hire to not harass and belittle customers into something they don't want, won't be returning.

A much better layout for the Film Section than last time I was there. I do have to detuct a Star though; this is more to do with JB as a whole, rather than this Store though. There needs to be a far greater selection of 4K Movies. I do most of my purchasing on Amazon now, as it gives me access to a far greater range of titles than the stale selection on offer here. I do Stream, but I like to have physical media as a Collector and do spend a bit of money to that end. It is lost revenue for my favourite Australian Retailer, by not getting in on the action. Get on it guys.

I recently went to JB HIFI to purchase Bose sports earbuds. The staff member helping me was very honest and explained how the batteries do eventually stop working and offered an extended warranty for 3 years. The average 12 month warranty wouldn't last until the batteries start to play up, typically around the 2 - 3 year mark. I appreciated his honesty about the product and it gave me some piece of mind in purchasing the earbuds. The girl at the counter was on the phone while she put through the purchase which was a bit rude and the reason I rated them 4 stars.

Needs to be resourced/staffed a lot better. Poor woman behind the counter had to request help dealing with the growing queue 3 times over the speaker before someone arrived to help, and I was left waiting for a salesperson to help with an order for a good 15 minutes. Knew what I wanted to buy, could see it, couldn't just check it out though cause it had to go through sales. I'd recommend buying online but if they're cutting staffing costs in store they'll definitely be doing it in the warehouses, best to find a better company.

Fitbit Versa 3. Gosh they can swindle you if your not on to it. I wanted to try it on, oh no we don’t do that any more (fine I’ll bring it back if it doesn’t fit). She said it’s $299, I said no it’s advertised for $199, she said oh that must have finished last night, luckily there was a tag still on one of the boxes saying $199. But can’t take my word for it have to go and check I was telling the truth. She came back, no sorry not even a word to me, just put it through at $199. OMG customer service non existent. JB HI FI

Not very happy experience. Went to pick up at the loading bay. No one waited outside and no signs placed outside. Trying to find some and looking through the door. A staff came to me and looked after my order. She asked me to step back from the door and turned back to look for my order.i did so. Then a male staff came from outside and said i stand on the wrong spot. I respect the rules but please put some signs for customers to follow instead of moving us around like a fool.

Great place. Was there going through some vinyls for a mate's gift. Impressive selection and prices weren't too bad. When I asked if my mate would be able to exchange them if they weren't to taste or I doubled up on his existing collection, she was very friendly and informative about the process and ensured to offer me a gift receipt knowing this. Was a very good customer experience. Lowering the prices a little would've rated 5 stars.

Always great service and people at this JB staff are always pleasant and will go out of their way to help you. Good range of goods for the size of the store. The security guards at the door are very pleasant and not intimidating especially the tall young security guard who is quite knowledgeable and can help you with most enquiries. Parking can be difficult as it is in the Knox Ozone but overall my favourite JB hifi store.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They were able to provide me a great 4k TV that fit well within my budget. There was a problem with the delivery address being incorrect, but when I called JB HiFi, the guy on the phone took ownership of the problem and liased with the delivery contractor and myself, the delivery went ahead without a problem. Love the great deals and prices you can get from this store.

I bought a smsung phone from them, Unfortunately I forgot name of the guy who helped me but he was so knowledgeable and patient, by his help I realised I can make my sim plan cheaper. Also day after I realised JBHIFI have a new 300$ discount on that phone, when I went there they refunded 300$ without biringing up TERMS AND CONDITION. they were really helpfull. I bought a gaming laptop from JBHIFI Knox, for which the price dropped by $595 during eofy sale, I went into store after 16 days and the manager was so kind to refund me the balance. The whole process was quick and smooth, took me less than 10 mins. No wonder JBHIFI is the best brand when it comes to electronics. I wish all the very best and sky rocket success to this company.

Ask for an extra discount on Delonghi Dinamica Fully Automatic Coffee Machine which is an ex demo. Marked price 1299 reduced from 1399. However jb said it's discounted already and best price. Come on! The catalogue price for new is 1299! How come ex demo without box is selling 1299??? Somehow the catalogue price is not applied in knox jb?

Tom (phone department) Appreciation post as he was unbeliveable from start to finish, held a product for me before i came in store. Apon arrival i was greeted by my name and he remebered everything previous discussed, he then helped me pick out extras for the phone and knew all his stuff! The staff at this store would have to have be the most helpful I have encountered in a electrical store. On both occasions they went out of their way to listen to what we needed. Went during a busy period. Was hard to grab a staff member at that time but was understandable. Go in prepaired and make sure you get them to price match officeworks or other suppliers as JB are not always he cheapest, even if it is only a few bucks but it better to be in your pocket and not theirs.

Wonderful service anytime I speak to a salesman here, always are attentive to the needs and wants of the customer in order to recommend a product for them, while also being quite charismatic. The range of products here is wide and varied, and are usually cheaper and better quality than other stores.
