I’ve been having a cursory look for headphones over the past six months. After briefly scrolling past an ad for JB HI FI, I decided to head in store and see what was on offer. Noticing a pair of the previous quiet comforts still in stock, I quickly, like any reasonable person, did a price comparison online and noticed Myers was having a sale for the item. The sale price was a $100 dollars off retail, so I asked a staff member if they would price match. I was met with disregard, and he demanded to know if the item was still in stock. Not knowing the answer, he checked himself, identifying the item was sold out, despite the website highlighting it was still available. When the staff member turned to show me on his tablet, he rudely and bluntly said to me, “it’s out of stock”, and continued to stare at me. Now, at no stage during this conversation was I rude, and at all times was polite and asked with curiosity and respect. For this clown to show such a lack of regard and willingness to help his customers was disgusting. Champion, if you don’t like your job, I recommend you go find another one else where. While I know my money amounts to very little, I will not be shopping at JB HI FI again. This isn’t my first poor experience with staff, and is an often common experience shared among my friends. I went in to buy a some items, two of the items were apple based products. I asked the sales person if they would match a local competitor. When the sales person came back they advised that they weren't able to, I asked why as JB have a price match guarantee. The sales person got the manager and when he came over I told him the same thing and was advised that the competitors product was a grey import. I asked how he knew it was a grey import and he just said that he just knew. I purchased the two products on top of another product as I didn't have time to go to another retailer but I've now done my research and it turns out that the competitors product is covered under apples warranty in Australia and I'm able to take my products back for warranty under apples warranty procedure if I had purchased my products at the other retailer. I felt the manager was rude and didn't want to give me the time of day to explain anything further then "we just know its a grey import". I wasn't there to waste time or ask a thousand questions about the products, i knew what I needed to buy and just wanted at a good price. I won't be shopping here again.

I recently visited the Kedron store looking to buy a TV that I saw online. I asked a staff member some questions about the TV and how long the warranty is for. They answered and said ‘that’s how it is in Australia’ with a bit of an attitude. This comment made me very uncomfortable and I left the store immediately and did not purchase a TV. Prior to receiving ‘assistance’ from this staff member I saw they made a comment towards an elderly man who clearly had a walking impairment that the store closes soon and they should move faster. However it was 430pm and store closes at 6pm. It’s so ridiculous that 4.30pm to 6pm from him sounds like only 1 minute away. I won’t be returning to the Kedron store and am very disappointed as I hoped to not encounter this kind of discrimination from a staff member when looking to make a large purchase in their store. I unfortunately did not get their name but if I did I would have put in a formal complaint about them specifically. I remember his face tho, please contact me if the manager wanna know who is he. Feel sorry for other customers who received “service” from him. Literally ruined our day.

Jan 20, 2021 - Today purchased aTV and a soundbar plus other computer accessories. Mitch from Entertainment Dept Manager and Ben attended during our visit to this store. I would like to Mitch for being so helpful when I was looking for a good quality TV entertainment unit which is suitable for my living room. I went to Harvey Norman at Aspley prior to coming here. The staff at Harvey Norman there are more KPI motivated and asked the wrong questions. Whereas Mitch from JB Hifi Kedronasked the right question and had product knowledge which made it easier for us to find a suitable unit. A great outcome we ended up purchasing $5k worth of electronics. This is definitely a positive experience from my previous encounter with this store. Great job Mitch and Ven⭐⭐⭐ ***Review Feb 2018Staff here are less attentive. Had to locate for someone to assist. The lady who then came was less helpful lack of product knowledge.

Went in to buy a $2k Alienware monitor, and wanted to see it in HDR first as not many people have the qd-oled on display in Brisbane. Was greeted by the person at the door and went over to the display section. I asked someone who went a grabbed a person who was meant to know about displays for me. One of the most expensive monitors they had didn't have a demo of any sort on it. So after scrambling all over the shop floor trying to find a demo. I was finally sat down to a less than 60fps non HDR video. Not really selling the monitor too me at all. Then in the mean time was attempted to be up sold to a Telstra phone plan when I still hadn't seen what I had originally came for. The store is great, but would not recommend due to the staff and their lack of knowledge on what I would assume would be general for someone who knew a little about monitors.

The best staff member of this store is Ethan, in my view! If you have any questions about gaming or kids technical gizmos then Ethan will patiently answer them all. I also appreciate him using his own initiative to offer good advice without even being prompted and his considered and candid advice. His product knowledge is good but he also provides you with options based on your budget and needs. I loved the advice that I overheard him give one very excited and eager parent. He suggested to a dad to download the Nintendo games before Christmas morning so that when the kids wake up they don’t have to wait for games to download. He also mentioned common pitfalls when trying to disengage the controllers. How cool is that? Ethan you rock. We will definitely be back to this store. Great service and a few friendly staff about. Well done everyone.

Terrible customer service. Ordering online would be so much better than visiting this store where the staff looks at you as if you're there for leisure or stealing. As soon as we entered, we checked the newly released phones. One of the staff members asked us what we were looking for, in a very rude way. When we mentioned that we're looking to buy some accessories, he directed us to the Isle, again very rudely. He didn't want us to check out the phones, I guess. The first person who billed the items didn't even bother to disclose the total price. He just proceeded to the main counter, again, as if we were gonna walk out with the items. I felt really uncomfortable with this whole experience. After spending $220, they can't even afford to provide a carry bag to put in the items purchased. I'm definitely not returning.

FANTASTIC! I had a wonderful surprise last Sunday when my dad had bought me a new iPad from Melbourne but used click and collect and sent me the details of where to go. I was so lucky that I got Jennifer (the one from behind the counter - there’s two Jennifers) who couldn’t have been more helpful especially when it came to me getting the pen that goes with the iPad and making sure I bought the right one. There was heaps of parking and they were definitely following safe COVID-19 laws when it came to the amount of customers in the store. It was a wonderful experience and a happy surprise for me but they couldn’t have been more helpful and it was really great seeing the amazing array of merchandise they have. Overall a great shopping experience with heaps of parking. Thank you JB hi-fi KEDRON you guys are awesome!

The staff in this store are totally phenomenal. I mean really exceptional customer service and product knowledge. I am more than impressed . These are the kind of attentive, knowledgeable sales staff that you could only dream of being a business owner . A big shout out and forgive me it's been a few weeks since my visit and I've forgotten names . The fellow who's doing a music degree about women in music- Exceptional human . Went way out of his way to offer me advice about microphone and recording product that I was not going to buy on that day. But I'll be buying from you when I do . And the guy down in the camera dept who had a lovely manner amd great product knowledge. Longest review I have ever written but well deserved .

We went looking for a TV. I'm not too knowledgable in this so brought a friend. The sales person, Gaz, was very patient and put the specs and abilities of the TV in terms we would understand and gave us personal recommendations on TVs. We were very happy with his work, and we ended up buying a fridge too since he explained the delivery cost value. At the checkout I saw a male staff member with awesome bright eye shadow (eye crayon from MECCA - I asked)! This staff member should rock on, it was great to brighten up everyone's day! And I was very glad everyone around was supportive. Good work JBHIFI, your staff seem to be happy at work (or at least friendly with customers that it seems very genuine).

The Kedron Store is by far the best retail outlet I have ever purchased goods from. The staff are always understanding and go to lengths far a beyond what is ever expected. A couple of times I have needed after-sales service. Dean and his team have taken the time to rectify simple to complex issues without complaint. From home, I drive past six stores in the JB Group, not to mention other retailers, to get the job done right the first time. Feel free to research that. I don't work there either. What I do definitely recommend, is that you call into their store for your next electrical purchase. I am sure that you will have a similar experience as I have. Well done to Dean and your team.

Went into the store to replace a broken Tv with a voucher from my insurance company, I chose the tv I wanted and got a good deal from the salesman, then when he went to run it by his manager the manager came to me and said because I was using a voucher from my insurance ( which I was making up the difference) l couldn’t get the discounted price! So after much discussion it was to much so I went with a lesser tv to which he allowed a discount? The salesman was nice and apologetic but the manager wasn’t very accommodating to say the least. After this experience I won’t be spending my dollars in that store again.

Went in store with my partner and the lady who asked to assist us (Jen) seemed very uninterested and unhelpful. She was very rude and condescending when we asked for a price match. When we still purchased the product she grabbed it and walked us to the counter but did not engage or talk to us about insurance or anything then walked off. I understand people have bad days and have worked in retail myself but her attitude was very off putting and I really wanted my partner to ask someone else for assistance. I would really look into her conduct if I was JB HIFI. The rest of the staff were helpful and nice.

Multiple occasions at this store (including the latest being today) the customer service is exceptionally poor. Rarely have we found someone who has any skills in customer interactions, and usually find them to be rude, unhelpful and left feeling like you have inconvenienced them by trying to buy from them. We now go out of our way to go to other stores that are further away, due to the poor service at Kedron. Happy to discuss further with Management if they would like further details and hopefully look to improve - noticed we aren't the only ones who have left similar reviews.

We went in to buy a cheap phone but after waiting over half an hour for service decided to get a more expensive phone and laptop, then when we asked for service we were told to wait until the I.T person was ready then because we were buying a cheaper laptop was told we had to wait until someone who just walked in and wanted to look at a Apple Watch was more important than us who was willing to buy actual products from them. Extremely poor customer service and extremely rude staff, All snobs if they don’t like the look of you, then your money is not good enough for them.

George, one of the salesmen deserves a huge pay increase. He seems to be doing the work of several people. Very knowledgeable and efficient.I bought a new all in one system for my ute. The two young fellas downstairs who installed the setup worked very hard too. They had a lot of pressure to keep up with the pace but did an excellent job. I noted that despite their young age, they dealt very diplomatically and promptly with a couple of customers who were rather demanding. I will be back some time to get a dash cam and a couple of other items. Thanks!

Nice shop but the staff had no idea about what I was looking for. I went in to buy a pair of Pixel Buds A series and the tech guy said he hadn't seen them for over a year. When I told him that they had just been released and were advertised on their website, he pointed to a pair I've wired pair of headphones that comes standard with a pixel phone. So I drove to the nearest Officeworks and they ordered a pair from their warehouse. Sorry JB, you missed this sale. I guess you don't really need it given your sales success over the past 18 months.

a while ago i went in to buy a new mouse and mousepad. i realised there was a staff member observing me, pretending to organise the products that were on the shelf. every section of the store that i went to, that staff member was there close by watching me. i felt so uncomfortable, racially profiled and it was like they were ready to call the police on me. i left without buying anything and went to the chermside store instead. the staff at kedron are a joke and new management should be considered.

Great place and amazing service! I went there for a refund and they gave it to me without hassle. I also went in there to refund my headphones because they were too uncomfortable and they offered to replace my headphones with any other brand and even had a person who recommended some headphones which I would enjoy. The manager was really considerate and Lucy, the person who helped me out with selecting a new pair, was really nice! Appreciate the service!

We shopped here today with the intent to buy immediately. We were pleasantly greeted by staff as we moved through the store. The staff did approach me with a pushy sales attitude. However they were nearby and ready to assist when we were ready. The sales service we received was very good. The staff member was very helpful and assisted putting our purchase into our car. Overall very happy. We have shopped here before and shop here again. Recommended.

This store is good and the facilities available are good. Am giving 3 stars because of the bland customer service provided here. I went the other day to resolve a fault product issue. The staff seemed not so interested in my issue. Another time I went with technical errors in my phone which was under warranty. The staffs denied me service stating my phone was an outright purchase and not on a plan. Seems like they prioritize commission over service.

If you’re coming here for Telco. Don’t. Team here are useless, unaware and untrained in Telstra systems. They would rather lie and make up some “story” than just admit they don’t know the answer. Do yourself a favour and just go into a real Telstra store. Don’t get sucked in by JB deals, you will find yourself in a Telstra store sooner than later as they are very quick to send you to Telstra after a sale is complete for any “service issues”.

18 months after purchase had some issues with a Hisense TV (you get what you pay for) - the manufacturer was completely disinterested in helping me fix the display problems. JB hifi came to the rescue - agreed the TV wasn't working as it should and provided me with an alternative brand as replacement. Really helpful staff and management - I was pleasantly surprised. Will not shop anywhere else for my electronics after such great support.

Currently (July 2021) undergoing some instore renovations. Small inconvenience to put up with, otherwise an overall good shopping experience. Plenty of products on offer, with the added range of household products. Car park directly near main entrance is small in terms of today's standards, especially during peak season. More parks available around the corner or across the road, with only a little bit more walking needed.

It wasn't particularly busy when I went in. I hadn't been to that store before so I felt a little lost not knowing where I could find what I was looking for. When I walked in staff were gossiping between themselves instead of welcoming and asking how they could help customers. When I did find someone they were very helpful. I would return as I got good information and hope that staff don't ignore customers next time.

Originally spoke to a lady in store who was SO patient with me and helped me make a decision on a new fridge (we had to back order because is stock difficulties). Just spoke to Josh on the phone (who called back to follow up and provide more info) and he was awesome! I was testing my soon to be purchase of a MegaBoom 3 speaker. I turned up the display speaker in the store to the loudest it could go and no one said a thing, no one said to quite it, and, simply understood what was happening, despite my colour (brown). I am truly and immensely grateful and thankful to this store and its staff. Highly recommend when it comes to trusting and purchasing your electronic goods.

The security guard was the friendliest person in the entire store. I had my kids with me so excited to purchase a gaming system and after being ignored, had a staff member finally ask if we were after a switch, which we said yes we are, then they walked off and proceeded to get back to what they were doing. I've purchased most of my Whitegoods and electronics from this store. Staff are generally great to outstanding. I say this because I've had an item DOA and had a new one personally delivered and replaced. Was quite impressed. Only downside is when they're busy (which is most of the time on the weekends), it's hard to actually get some assistance. Other than that. It's a really good JB.

Great store. Great staff. Had one team member spend nearly an hour talking to me about different products to help me make an informed decision. Made sure I got the right TV for me and - despite saying I wasn't going to be buying any home thearte right away - he spent another 20-30 minutes talking me through my options. No pressure. Just great guy. Parking can be average.

Great store, friendly staff, huge range of products including home appliances and instruments. They fitted our car sound system for a super competitive price and didn't try and up-sell us, and in fact rang us after we'd already paid, because they found the same system cheaper somewhere else. As a consequence, we rarely go elsewhere. Huge selection of records and games.

Don't bother. The staff are not interested. I stood near a product display for over 5 minutes with several staff walking past me and not even acknowledging me. I was there to purchase a product. So I left and bought elsewhere. The "security guard" at the door tried to give me a catalog as I left but I told him there was no point if nobody wanted to sell me anything!

They were not interested in making a sale, but making sure I got what I needed, which I did. This is a go-to store for any tech for me because you do not have to deal with shopping center parking. You can park right at the door. the staff know what they are talking about and I am yet to walk away without buying the thing I went there for. It's currently going through a re-fit (still open) so it's only going to get better in the coming weeks. - Nice one JB

I bought a phone and i said to the guy s21+ they he give me s21 5g.wrong item, i just notice when i reach home. I came back to change so i need to drive back again and i meet one of the staff, she's rude and not friendly at all. The good thing when i went to the watch section i meet this beautiful and friendly woman who assist and explain what watch is suit me.

Had a return on a product and was walked through the standard JBHIFI policy over the phone which is acceptable and was still advised to bring it into the store. Once I got in, the assistant who helped over the phone, and the store manager, both continued to help and reach a resolution. Great service, usually why I drive the extra distance to go to this store.

We had a good experience when we went to JB Hi-Fi at Kedron. I had to go to the back counter for what I wanted to buy. On the way there two friendly staff members asked, at different times, asked if they could provide us with any assistant. The staff member that served us at the counter was knowledgeable and efficient at serving us. Good experience overall.

Microwaves are heavy. And being harassed by the unhelpful humourless security guard whilst you are struggling to carry it. Whilst I should add accompanied by a young man with learning disabilities and a child. Is far from helpful. Fortunately there are a wide range of electrical stores with similar products and prices. So in future I will be using those!

Great selection and staff are quite helpful. I have found this store to be particularly more helpful than some of the other JB HiFis that I've been to. The movie and music selection is also really good, stocking a wide range of genres and format types. They have also price matched me on a few occasions without fuss. Overall I would highly recommend them.

Big shout out to Dan, Frank, and security guard for their effort and generosity. Tonight they went above and beyond when it came to customer service. They seen I had my son with me and was struggling juggling him and a box. They helped me with my purchase to and from the car. Dan made the refund process an absolute breeze. I had the absolute worst customer service experience today 28/08/2023, around 4-5pm. The staff was incredibly unhelpful and I've never encountered such rudeness before. It's unfortunate that they laughed at us instead of providing the assistance we needed. I won't be returning, and I strongly believe they need to improve their treatment of customers.

I went here to purchase a washing machine and printer. Undecided as to which among the options suit my needs, the staff (Annette) was so patient and helped me through the choices. Very satisfied with customer service and range of products. They also have a premium delivery service so there's no hassle installing the new and disposing the old machine.

Going into a home superstore knowing prices very well i can callout lies pretty easy. TV salesman very pushy on trying to make a sale and doing everything he can to do it. At the end of the day going directly to Sony they offered me $1000 cheaper deal than JB. Do your homework don't rely on any advise by this store as they will just lie to your face

Terrible service! Tried to buy a scooter and got ignored for 15 mins while the staff member stood around with another customer. A simple "be right with you" would have sufficed. Also had an attitude when I politely asked if I could purchase it down the front as the other staff had already prepared it at the counter. Happy to take my money elsewhere!

I found him to be an intelligent, genuine person who can engage with others in an appropriate manner (I just can't stand cheesy smiles and being addressed as ma'am.) Decent sized store offering a wide range of electrical & computing goods. I had really exceptional service when looking for a laptop with a 15% discount offer. Compared favourably with online offerings and I was able to snare 20% off the manufacturers wireless keyboard and mouse as well as free 2 year warranty. How good is that!!!

Very helpful staff. Spent time with us and helped us with our laptop purchase. Looked after us with a deal, and were very knowledgeable about the products that they sell. Jb is usually pretty good across the nation, but these guys went above and beyond to make sure we got the best product based on our needs!

A typical JB store but you can park right out the front! Staff were friendly and helpful with purchasing a phone. Their stores seem a bit expensive when it comes to things such as fitbit competitors or headphones. Mostly just expensive big name brands.
