I went to order a cake I wanted a Mocha coffee cake at first I didn’t want it to be a tres leche cake but the lady who took my order said they can make it with just a little tres leche so it wouldn’t be to dry so I said okay. I payed that day I made the Oder. It was $58. It was the small round size I was like okay price is fine since I also said I wanted it with flan. So the day came I went to go pick the cake up I didn’t like the design of how they made the cake. I wanted it to look like how it did it in the picture it did not. It looked sloppy. Since I had already paid for it when I had ordered it I just took it thinking it was the mocha coffee flan that I wanted trying to be positive. Thinking it would be fine. When I get home we cut the cake at night turns out it is Not Even Mocha. I call the store to let them know they got my order wrong the lady said she was sorry I said I want my money back or at least half back. She said I have to talk to the owner who she said is the manager that they will call me tomorrow to let me know what the owner decided to do. The next day they Never Call me so I have to call them. Than I talk to the same lady and she said that the owner will only give me back $4 dollars. Omg that’s ridiculous! I paid $58. She said the owner said if I didn’t like the cake I should have just left it. Well I didn’t leave it because I needed a cake for a birthday and at last minute I didn’t want to be rushing to buy another one when I had already paid for it! This store is not professional at all!

La Espiga bakery is the best bakery in Nashville bar none. I have been in Tennessee for over 20 years now and I have tried a few Mexican bakeries and it's La Espiga that I always go back to. I lived in El Paso Texas and in my homeland of Mexico and again it's La Espiga that comes closer if not equals the great taste of Mexican sweet bread that I have had in Texas and Mexico. I live in Dickson and we make the 40 or 60 minute (depending on traffic) drive just to go get the best sweet Mexican bread in Nashville and it's surroundings. My personal favorite are the Piña Empanadas (Pineapple Turnovers) but just about everything the bake is delicious. Try the Tres Leches Cakes (Three Milks Cake) you won't be sorry. I recommend La Espiga bakery to anyone who likes pastries, or anyone with a sweet tooth. You will thank me after you've taste their great sweet bread or their Tres Leeches Cake. Well come on then, go, go get you a piece of real Mexican flavor.

Fui a ordenar un pastel les dije todo lo que queria Y ya con todo me dijeron que serían $87 para un pastes muero 8 algo pero solo me dieron las instalaciones para ir a recogerlo no me dieron que si lo cancelaba me iban a quitar un 25% porque lo page con tarjeta lo cual no tiene sentido porque lo cancele al día siguiente porque encontré una mejor opción está mal que no te digan eso porque hasta que llegas y les dices te dicen que tiene un anuncio en la pared sobre eso pero no está donde está las cajas por eso no lo puede ver y además lo tienen solo en inglés lo cual no tiene sentido ya que ay muchas personas que no saben inglés y además es una tienda hispana

El sabor del pan está bueno pero hace días ordené un pastel y dijieron q por cada ingrediente serían cinco dólares más total q un pastel como para 8 personas salió en 70 y tenían otros del mismo tamaño en 35 así q no se entiende y en otras panaderías el mismo q yo encargue lo dan en 35 últimamente se quieren cargar si bien dicen q entre hispanos y luego me di cuenta q cuando limpian donde ponen el pan ponen windex directo y se le mete el pan y el pan tiene un saber a windex creo q tienen q tener mas cuidado con eso y con sus precios ya q los bolillos rellenos te los dan a 3 dólares muy mal por eso luego quiebran por irse al cielo con sus precios!!!

Stopped in while visiting a client, and was impressed. Not only do they have a full blown bakery with all of the breads and desserts you know and love, they also had a few small food items such as canned goods, etc to help with your taco night. Staff is friendly. If you'd like any of the fresh baked goods, go to the front counter, grab a platter and some tongs. Take back to front and they will package for you. Looks like you can also go ahead and order a cake for your next event.

I’ve ordered three cakes from this bakery so far and it has always been a quick an easy process. The cakes have always turned out exactly like the picture. Im not the best at planning ahead but they’ve always managed to squeeze me in on short notice. Very professional. I would defiantly recommend this bakery. The prices are very reasonable especially for the quality. Not only does it look great but it taste great.

Es mi Panadería y pastelería favorita, siempre tienen pan recién hecho y sus pasteles son deliciosos. Lo único que no me gusta que sus empleados no usas mascarilla y eso es muy irresponsable ya que venden mucho y siempre esta lleno de personas sobretodo en las tardes.

Juan invited me up to the bakery to see what they had to offer. I was blown away by the choices available and quality of their creations. I drove about 30 minutes to visit and it was 100% worth it. Don't be hesitant to stop by. This place is a new favorite.

Últimamente el servicio y calidad de pastel no está en la mejor manera.. he comprado desde más 13 años y últimamente te cuelgan el teléfono y el pastel no está bien hecho, ojalá mejoren y no caigan mas... es una lástima lo que esta pasando en verdad pilas

Es muy mal ordene un pastel mande la foto y me pusieron otra en el pastel pedí letras de colores y me pusieron otro color les pedí cambiar el color y me hicieron un desorden no fueron dignos de dar descuento ni nada no recomiendo está pastelería mal

All of the bread I bought had so many egg shells in it, I had to find out from my daughter. She told me she bit into something hard and I told her to spit it out and it turns out it was so many egg shells
