The staff here is very polite and always willing to help. The store is well-stocked and has everything from fish supplies, small bird and reptile supplies and anything you may need for a cat or dog. The only thing that frustrates me is their lack of care for their Bettas; every time I have gone there they are sick or near death. All the other animals seem to be well taken care of. Edit March 2023: I stopped by today and by some miracle the Bettas weren't in tiny cups today! They were still in too small tanks and had no heater, but not having them in cups is such a huge step towards educating their customers that Bettas need large aquariums (at least 10 gallons when they go to a permanent home). This was such a breath of fresh air to see from a pet store. They were even surrounded by some pretty good Betta products. Maybe in the future they'll switch to ceramic water bowls instead of bottles for their small animals and then they'll be a pretty good example for other stores.

Outstanding establishment! I shop here for all of my fish needs and every time I go the employees are always nice and understanding that I have questions on new fish I’ve never seen/heard of. I love visiting the hamsters there and being able to hold them when I visit, they are always so energetic and ready to socialize. I’ve learned that they don’t keep a certain fish for very long because all of their shipments are different which is awesome because I like a variety to choose from and learn about! PetCo nor PetSmart change up the fish they keep so I think it’s really cool that this establishment does. I recommend coming here instead of PetCo and PetSmart. You can’t beat friendly employees, great prices and new fish every week!

I want to thank the manger Ashley. She was always so kind to my animal, and his recent passing was difficult for me. Due to the snow and rain in January, he unearthed and I had to wait to rebury him until the ground was not frozen. I couldn't go there to tell her because my heart was literally shattered. A few weeks ago when I saw the store closed and her finishing before she left. I went to the door and she cracked the door and we cried together about Sam. It is rare one would find such compassion and empathy in this world these days. I wanted to let people know what a beautiful soul she is, and that she is so much more than just a manager. I will never forget her kindness.

I cant say enough good things about this store. I went to get a new parakeet. It was a completely diffrent kind of experience than what I had at Petsmart and Petco. The birds were so tame when I left the store I went home and said outside with my bird on my finger for 2 hours. It loved me holding it. This was my first time buying a bird that was alreadt tame. The store was clean and the people work very nice. Also they didnt mind my 3 kids asking them 1,000 questions about every animal in the store.

This place is lovely! They have an amazing selection of quality and affordable pet supplies/products to choose from. They also have the cutest adoptable pets in store. I love coming here for my cats treats, food, toys and health items. You can register your number and build points for discounts, so it works out wonderfully in terms of saving $$. The staff is always so kind, knowledgeable and helpful as well. 100% come here for all your pet needs!

First thing, the young lady, Samantha helped us and she was absolutely great! Very kind, informative and friendly. Store was very clean, neat and tidy. What really stood out to me was how clean the fish tanks were. Also, had a wide variety of cool fish. Overall, it was a really fantastic experience. We left with a cool and friendly Red Blood Parrot! Very pleased, will definitely be back and highly recommend!!!!! Thanks Pet Supermarket!!!

We went in to check out animals available for adoption. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful. We were looking specifically for a kitten, but there were none in the store at the time. He gave us a local foster lady's number and we were able to meet up with her the next day, leading to the adoption of our new addition to the family! All of the other animals in the store looked well taken care of as well. Highly recommended!

Why I love this place is plain and simple: the staff. The staff here are always courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. They've helped me figure out food issues, fit harnesses, and more. I do sometimes wish the store were just a bit bigger so there were a bit more of a selection, but they've got what I need and are great about ordering things. They're one of my two favorite Nashville pet supply stores.

First place to see bettas in the bigger tanks, they still have some in the cups but it's good to see that they have some of them able to swim around in a bigger area, feel bad for them having to stay in the cups all the time. The staff there has always been really nice and helpful. The prices seem a little cheaper than other pet stores, I know on the fish they are anyway. Keep it up pet supermarket

I needed help with a work project. I called the store and a friendly voice answered. The person I'm talking about was jacob. I walked into the store after we finished our conversation. I use to work here and when I was working here, I loved my manager and the staff I worked with. Once my manager left to go to another location, it started going downhill, and people started leaving. I left after a while because I didn't like the new manager. I hope that for the sake of the customers coming in, that they are still doing a good job serving customers.

Nice selection of pet products from cats and dogs to birds, rabbits, & even fish. They have live rabbits, guinea pigs, and birds often. No reptiles though. They also have rescued cats & kittens available for adoption. Good sales & regularly send coupons through the mail. Handicapped accessible and plenty of parking right at the entrance.

The best place for your pets! They have a buy 10 bags of dog food get one free, any size! Excellent selections and convenient locations. Being in the rewards program has literally saved me 100s of dollars. It's free and easy. Everyone at every pet supermarket I've ever been too is very nice and knowledgeable. This is it for my pups!

I go there almost daily to get my rather, umm very, spoiled puppy a present or treat as it is rite by my work. Everyone there is always very helpful and friendly and have at times gone beyond what they ate required to do in order to help me and my pup Bentlee. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone that asks.

Employees were rude. They were only concerned about talking to each other. I’m not sure if management\staff has changed but I have never been treated like this. They were inconvenienced because I had questions and needed assistance, getting something. I have been shopping here for several years. Not anymore. Do better!

Good selection of items and usually in stock. They don't have everything but they do have some good dog treats and toys. Staff are usually very friendly and helpful. Just watch your dog as he enters the front door, he may have to pee on it like ours did, as probably 1000 other dogs before! LOL

Surprisingly clean and well run for a chain let store. Hadn't been to this particular location until recently but was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness, selection, and level of help and kindness by the employees, even though it was almost closing time. Will be going back again.

Employees are so friendly every time I come in! The bonuses and discounts are a bonus! Animals look well taken care of and the vet days rock as well! I do wish they would start taking smaller pets soon (Guinea pigs) for the vet visits! Thanks for a great experience everytime !

I shopped here for the first time today and it was wonderful. reasonable prices and very friendly, knowledgeable staff. And as a bonus, when i mentioned it was my pet’s birthday they gave me a small gift bag for her. Definitely plan to regularly shop here in the future

Pet Supermarket in general is my favorite pet store of the "main" pet stores. I was disappointed though with how many things were out of stock and how many things were not priced on this visit. I hope it turns around quickly. Update, still some trouble with pricing.

Liz the manager is thoroughly knowledgeable and takes the time to help and educate customers. I am never disappointed when visiting this store. Staff seems to change often. It is a hit or miss in service especially when Liz is off. Otherwise, they get the job done.

Great store! I LOVE going, my family and I go at least once a week even if we don’t buy anything. We go to see the animals and get food for our own. It is also in a very convenient place. The staff are all friendly and cheerful, couldn’t be any better!

One of the better pet stores in the Nashville area. The staff were extremely helpful and informative. The items are reasonably priced and they send coupons after you sign up for their store membership.
