I want to give 0 as a star but thats not an option i guess. The petsmart on 137th ave has two of the worst staff I've had to deal with. They have the worst customer service and no idea what they are doing. I recommend you never go there to buy anything fish related. First time I was there I wanted to buy a tank and they were refusing to let me get anything but the floor model which wasn't in the best shape because they didn't have anyone to bring the ones in the back. I had ordered it online for pickup and the lady there said if I didn't want the floor model then there was no other alternative and i can just get refunded Customer service tip 101 if you can't give the customer what they bought then dont offer it in your store and for the managers of pet smart learn how to hire better staff at your 137th location. Second time I was there I wanted to buy 2 fish and apparently the lady didn't want to sell them either because a 60 gallon tank apparently isn't big enough for them and silver dollars. The irony is they had 3 silver dollars and at least 4 of this fish in the tiny pet store aquarium. Worse customer service. I have been to other petsmart shops before and this by far is the worst one. I hope you guys train your staff better on customer service as clearly you have issues with two of your staff at that location.

So I went there yesterday and there were many dead/sick fish including a very sick Oscar. I returned today to ask the manager if I could take this Oscar and save it’s life she promptly replied “no! If your not going to buy a fish I have other customers to deal with.” So I said I’ll take the Oscar and she packed him up made me go to a separate till even when there’s a huge line of people.. so I went with her and on my way out I told the entire store that the fish section is appalling! 50% of fish are sick and they are selling them to customers I watched her pack up 3 different customer requests before I got to talk with her. She was very snappy and has no regard for the well being of the fish.! They ARE NOT a payday they are creatures. Take better care of them. Oscar attached is now in quarantine with Meds like they should have done

I go to this Pet Smart a minimum of twice a month. And even though it is often more expensive I purchase all my pet supplies there. I have my dog groomed there. I have spent thousands of dollars there over the years. It is in my neighborhood so I support the area business. Today I had my bag checked and my numbers recounted. The Manager said it was his responsibility. I agree. However should it also not be his responsibility to know his customers? When I first started putting my cans in a bag they were checked. Understood. Been doing it for months and they stopped checking because they knew me. The Manager needs to know his customers. It was insulting to me. I believe I will now find a different place for my pets needs.

Went in looking for my RC puppy food that 50st petsmart NEVER has in stock... guess what.. they had it... an awesome lady named Cheryl helped me find everything..what great customer service .. Cheryl is absolutely fantastic and no I am not related to her or anything like that lol it was very nice to have actual customer service after shopping at 50th street petsmart continually. I will be making the extra drive to shop at skyview from now on simply a much better shopping experience. The store is super clean and shelves are stocked..no empty slots it was great...was an absolute 100% difference and much appreciated. Will definitely be a return shopper here at this location

Bought a crested gecko from breeders and came to pet smart to get some supplies. Asked for some help and the worker told us to buy a $300 cage with no compromise. When we said the cage wasn’t permanent and we didn’t need one that big right now she started getting mad at us, and saying it’s gonna die. At check out we went to a different cashier because we didn’t want to talk to her again. BUT SHE MOVED HERSELF TO BE OUR CASHIER. Before she swapped out with the cashier that was supposed to be ours, she started to trash talk us to the other worker saying that we’re mistreating it. (Ps worker licks her lips a lot and the gecko has a new cage and is doing just fine:) )

I had a horrific experience with a manager/supervisor when asking a policy question about the store. I wasn't even talking to her, I was trying to discuss my question with another employee when she jumped in and told me that she wouldn't do what I was asking, told the employee to lock up the gerbils that I was interested in buying and turn the lights off before I could respond. I guess I was dismissed... She then disappeared and wouldn't tell me what she would recommend. Finally, when I had the chance to ask her, she talked down to me and didn't let me explain anything about my question. I have always shopped at Petsmart and never was treated this way....

I don't usually go to pet stores, as I only have a pet tarantula who is known to fast up to 8+ months at a time, but we have a friend's dog visiting, so I stopped by PetSmart to pick a new toy for him as a treat during his visit. Everything I needed was right at the front entry, so I didn't need any help from an associate until it was time to check out, but when I did get to the till, I was helped by the most pleasant, wonderful, friendly, woman. I don't know the last time I was helped by someone so kind and friendly. I hadn't been in this PetSmart before today and as I say I don't need to go often, but it will be where I go when I have to go back.

Not happy at all with Petsmart today! Went this morning to get dog food. Went to my usual brand and the shelf is empty. The stock room door is open so i call out to see if someone is there. No answer. Call again. I see movement in the back corner. I can clearly see someone standing behind a shelf. I call out again louder. No response. Nice. So i proceed to go to the front to ask the cashier. No one in sight. The only other 2 people in the store ARE OUTSIDE SMOKING! I turn around and call out HELLO! Im alone in this store. The pictures show it all.This has been my go to since we got our dog. Time to move on. Get your s@#% together Petsmart Skyview.

Horrible customer service of the groomer store located inside the store, they dont let you book appointments for Dog nail cut or trim, so your only option is to go there in person. I came today i waited 15 minutes due groomer was check in other 2 dogs, when i finally reached the counter , the groomer said they are short of staff and cant take us, if that was the case why they dont put a sign at the door, if a sign would be post i would read it and leave instead of loosing my time and been waiting for nothing. She coudlnt care less . How can i get back my time and gas spent now.. Do not offer services if you are not able to provide them !!!

Been told to come in 5 different times for a nail, ear and teeth session but everytime I come in at the time I've been told the grooming stations says they had another girl not show up so all groomer appointments are pushed back and no nails will be done today... I don't drive atm so this is a massive waste of my time and resources... yesterday the lady told me to just head to another pet smart and hope they can, she was the same lady that said I didn't need an appointment because at 2pm she would for sure have time. I trusted her and my fur baby has gone another day without services. I would avoid this location at all costs

Large variety of fish. They all looked healthy and well cared for. The critter cages were clean and the animals all seemed happy and healthy. A good variety of all the popular pet products. The shelves could use some fronting and facing and the product displays could use some organization. I was here about 30 mins and no staff member approached me to ask if I needed a hand. I take a lot of pics so I usually get asked. Definitely a big box approach to customer service. On a positive note they do have a price match policy. I didn't experience it because the items I bought were the same price as their competitor.

Went looking for a specific item that the website said is in stock and it wasn't there. Called 4 days later and a RUDE woman told me that they haven't gotten stock since then but her tone and attitude was extremely dismissive and it felt like I was an inconvenience for asking a simple question. I will not be shopping there any more and I will go out of my way to go to a different one. Don't go if you are looking for help from any of the staff as they all ignore you in the store as well. I had to ask 2 different staff members while I was there the first time to look for an item.

Apologies for the extremely late review --- we purchased two fancy mice here a few months ago and returned both of them upon their demise within a week. We dealt with a customer service gentleman named JACK and wanted to give him a shout-out! Jack is by far the most pleasant, professional, and customer-oriented Petsmart employee that we have EVER dealt with! He is compassionate and knowledgable, and even though our circumstances with the fancy mice were sad, we were very pleased with the quality of service that we received from Jack. Thanks, Jack!!!!! ⭐️

We went here to find a nice bed for our fur baby. We have been looking for one for a while and we finally found a stack of nice beds that were on sale for 15$ but when we went to pay, the cashier said the price was showing up as 80$!!. Obviously we were shocked at the price difference but the nice manager said that as a one time show of good faith she would honour the price due to the stocking error. If you ask me it was amazing customer experience and I’m definitely going back for all my regular pet shopping

The boy working cashier was very nice, but I felt a bit uncomfortable when another employee (older lady with glasses) told a customer off when they were asking for help looking for certain products. There was a bit of a language barrier but either way, employees should try their best to help customers regardless off barriers. She told customer "You should've brought someone with you, were not here to help you shop." I felt hurt with her words and felt sorry for the customer with how poorly she treated him.

Alright…. I brought my 6 month puppy here for grooming and it was his first time. I asked for: -teeth brushing -bathe -nails clipped -ears cleaned When I came back to get him, ears weren’t cleaned, teeth definitely wasn’t brushed, he still had food from breakfast stuck in his teeth, they clipped 3 of his claws… and I’m not even sure if he was bathed cuz he still smelled a little rough…. This place did not do what I paid for… unbelievable… never will I be back here… Thanks for stealing my $70

This is my go to location. Parking is the main reason. Its not chaos! Lol and they ALWAYS have my brands in stock. Also... the staff are fabulous always friendly and remember my name I have to edit my review I’m so disappointed in a matter of two months the cat food that I’ve been feeding my cat for 10 years went up $17 per bag… but only at Pet smart! it’s still the same price everywhere else… I know you can price match but it’s just easier to go to the other store now…

Ive been taking my dog To Petsmart for quite some time usually get a typical bath and cut and sometimes add the top dog plus. I usually add pretty bows and get the featured “ bandana” of the month. This time I’ve decided to do something different and asked if they offered the service. ( color the fur ) Sure enough they were able to accommodate my request last min ! To my surprise my pom fur baby turned out amazing!!!! Thanks u guys rocked it !

They love to advertise Afghan hounds on their commercials and print, but when it comes to grooming, they'd rather create lies about your dogs behaviour and temperament, when really they just don't want to spend the time. I have been getting my 7 year old dog groomed at Petsmart for over 6 years and never has he been aggressive to another dog or human, yet now they cancel his appointment for made up issues. Lazy lying people.

Went in for cat food and saw this guy with uvb burns down its back and extremely dry skin. The cashier says "oh lol, yea we know about that." and its still for sale? "Yea, we're working on it it's just a stuck shed". Do not buy your animals here. Buying this wouldn't be a "rescue", just keeps their poor care cycle. Try an actual specialty shop for your small animals! I hope it gets the proper medical attention it requires.

I love this place a lot because they can take care of pets very well. I like their gentle service in handling pets. You can also find interesting products for your pets such as adorable cat furniture or enjoyable toys for dogs. I guarantee the quality of their pet foods as well, they were great since my mom's dogs got used to eating them and they were healthy since then.

I have bought many fish before and have my own tank at home full of gold fish. This is the first time buying a new tank and a new fish for my child and being told to pay 200 for the tank but I wouldn’t be able to buy a fish for a week, until I brought a sample of water back for them to test. Never going to this pet smart again, I’ll go to my regular one from now on.

Good mid priced pet store usually has everything you need and their fish are pretty hardy we only had them three weeks and then moved and they're doing fine I also like the litter selection here and it's the same price as Walmart and you can get bigger quantities I get my litter here because of a certain dustless litter they carry definitely recommend here to shop

Good place to bring my 6month old puppy to help with training for socialization and listening. Huge variety of dog toys, treats, food, accessories, beds, etc. They do have in store grooming but I haven't used that service. Usually a couple cats available for adoption through a rescue as well. The cashiers even have treats at the till for all the good puppies.

I went to buy some fish because my cats enjoy my husband's tank. They wouldn't sell me any unless I bought a new tank, heater, and pump! What a horrible experience. Never again, PetSmart. Shame on you. Is it because I have a disability and am tired, so I don't sound 'normal'? I am so disgusted with the discriminatory experience I just had. Shame on you!

Recently bought two guinea pigs and all their accessories here. The staff is always super friendly and make sure to answer any questions I have. I've been given good advice that's saved me a lot of money and helped me give my pets proper care. It'so fun to see people come in with their pets. The other day this guy came in with his ferret. Too cute!

Very good experience with this location. Product I was looking for wasn't on the shelf, and an associate took the time to check thoroughly in the back to find it. Got lots of assistance to get the items I needed for my new leopard gecko setup. Very knowledgeable staff and helpful as all can be. Will be back if I need anything else!

I've been an on-and-off customer there for over a decade and their customer service has always been top notch, which is pretty much unheard of! The store is always really clean and well-organized. Its a good place to go for certain brands you are looking for. Such as, brands of food, etc. I find more options that I personally like elsewhere. But they have a very good and wide selection of treats, toys, bones, activities, for all sorts of pets. Love that they groom and have adoptable pets from rescues.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. We were asking about hamsters and the woman helping us was very knowledgeable. She even let us hold some, and told which hamsters were singular and which ones you had to get in pairs. Also learnt that if you drop certain kinds you may never see it again...

I have never been here until now. I certainly liked the setup of the store. I found exactly what I was looking for with ease. Was greeted with a smile as I walked in. This place has probably the biggest selection of cat and dog food and toys and such, it wasn't hard to find products.

Haircuts were awesome!!! Just wish they had better way of cutting there nails!!!!!! Our one dog was lifting his paw for 2days... Maybe look into grinding the nails instead of cutting them?! Worth looking into.
