Arrived at the pet shop, asked for assistance with 2 members of staff & was told to wait by the animal cages, after 15 minutes an assistance came and explained to her how it was my first pet and needed a bit more information, asked for the American breed Guinea pig and was told as a response that none of the Guinea pigs where born in America which was funny because it doesn’t have to be born in that place for it to be the breed, after pressing her she finally admitted to not knowing any breeds of the Guinea pigs she then proceeded to tell me that I couldn’t purchase 2 and had to purchase all 3 which was very wrong considering Guinea pigs are able to live in 2 and wanting 3 is a choice not a must. Left the shop with no Guinea pigs and went to the Enfield pets at home which had far better service.

I'm sick and tired of this place. They really need to sort out their shelf stocks. Every time I come in here they're down to the bare bones with royal canin cat food and applaws. They only stock like 4 or 5 flavour of lily's kitchen and the cat litter is a hit or miss. I went in today and half the shelves were empty yet there were lots of staff just wandering around shop floor. They put the most incompetent people on tills, this girl didn't even bother trying to look for the barcode on the bag before giving up and asking the supervisor. Like get it together it's not hard. Sick of having to order everything online because these people don't bother to put stock out.

I'd like to update that they seem to have now got on the puppy pee problem under control. Staff are generally quite pleasant. They seem to have a problem keeping my cat's favourite food stocked. The whole line, really. Hopefully, nothing is afoot It's OK in a pinch and (most) of the staff are pleasant enough, but the entire place smells like dog piss because people bring there dogs in, let them piss anywhere they want and no one cleans it up. Also, don't bother with the fish. That guy's incompetent and not willing to do his job.

Very bad experience,,waiting 20 minutes to speak to assistant after asking twice!! The assistant who tried to help me didn't know much about her products,kept saying you have to get this and that and not really listening to my questions,,offered little or no informative information regarding the animal I was interested in and more on selling the most expensive products,,,I left the store very disappointed...Enfield pet shop on the other hand were brilliant...

Nice store lovely stuff many things overpriced but is ok sometimes not always you can get vouchers or sale But They don’t have so much knowledge about some dangerous stuff for animals Treated my cat using this after seeing it in store, making sure to follow all of the instructions. Our cat has been foaming at the mouth, drooling and suffering for hours PAH IS are aware of that BUT STILL RECOMMENDING to people disgusting

Absolutely pointless store for cat food unless you want the basic whiskers garbage! More holes in the shelves than a colander and all the healthier cat food is no where to be seen. The stock levels are a joke basically. Staff friendly, but ultimately there’s no point coming here for your cat because you’ll only be able to get whiskers or other basic supermarket food for them, only often more expensive.

Use this store regularly. Went today on an urgent anti flea mission and spoke to two very helpful members of staff. One of whom has completed training in flea eradication and gave us lots of helpful info that left us itchy but much wiser. Also, very helpful, honest cashier giving info on the grooming services. They’re really helpful, knowledgable and friendly. Pets at home should be proud!

Unprofessional staff interrogated me and judged me based on appearance. Staff had a very rude attitude despite having bought everything they asked me to buy in preparation. I refused to buy and instead went to a local family pet shop and they treated me nicely with respect and gave me helpful advice. Pets at home is usually okay but this one in Camden town is not.

Can't fault it, awesome team who really go the extra mile to help their customers. The store itself was spotless, organised and easy to navigate, came out with some quality items to keep the cat happy and cares for, under great recommendations from the staff, they even helped me sign up and get 10%. Will forever be returning :)

Visited the store for the first time last week to purchase some bits for my cat. Good size store. Great variety of toys, although I did expect there to be a lot more different food brands. Staff had good knowledge of the products and services. Nice experience overall, although a shame they have stopped doing NHS discount.

The staff were very knowledgeable & friendly, the store itself was easy to find & although small it was well stocked. We bought 6 lovely little fish, but alas they all died within 3 days....we checked the water with the usual '7 test' testing strips and all was well with the water and temperature. ‍♂️

Good but sometimes it’s hard to find a worker to help with getting flee medication, was once standing waiting around after asking for like 20 minutes but I can understand when it gets busy it gets hecktic and I did go on a Saturday so. I’ve worked in retail I know how it can get

First as you enter there are 2 dog bowls full of water for pets. Large selection of toys and food. Great little store friendly staff who smile and make conversation. Also you are allowed to take your pets into the store. Very happy thanks guys …

Just moved to the area and the team were very helpful in finding calming products for my cat who is waiting to be neutered (new cat momma), shop is so clean, customers are friendly, variety of products and team are helpful !!! Will definitely return

They had a good basic amount of things in store, but the several things I actually wanted were only available online, or could be delivered to the store the next day, unfortunately I needed the items right away Prices seemed ok tho.

Couldn't trim my dogs nails co's I hate hearing him cry even before I touched the nail with the clippers so nails and a bath at pets at home. Dont know how but they sorted it in under an hour and the lady said he was no problem.

Went to this store earlier today to get guinea pigs. The staff were excellent, very friendly and very happy to help. Helped us get all the equipment and teach us how to look after them. Excellent experience, thanks again!

Great shop. I adopted a ridiculously anxious cat so am often here stocking up on calming pheromone sprays & toys that will be studiously ignored. Staff always knowledgeable/helpful. Zero complaints :-)

Like most pet shops they continue to sell hamster and rodent cages which are much too small and will likely cause their future inhabitants unimaginable stress. It should be illegal.

A good all round pets supply shop with reasonably priced stock. This saves me a journey to Crewes Hill which i used to do. Its also far cheaper than my local pet shop.

Bought a hamster and it died within a day :( i’ve had multiple my entire life and this one had a strike and fitted and died in my hand!!! stop them selling animals !

Good shop with good stock. Just a note that dogs are often off the leash in the store, so if you(like me) are scared of dogs, you may want to avoid it

The staff at Camden Rd have been so helpful since I got my puppy 2 months and the store is also keep very clean best shop ever 10 out of 10
