Extremely bad, classist and racist service from one of the pharmacists , I went in today to get my 3y/o daughter something for diarrhoea and told her stools have blood, she then asked another pharmacist what they can give me and the other pharmacist responded and said it could be the environment we stay in and maybe my daughter was swimming In the river in the slums that we stay in, first of all I stay in Caversham Glen and not the slums and she assumed so because I am BLACK, I would never Recommend this pharmacy to anyone, it was my first time and definitely not going back, such an unpleasant comment at a very bad time, imagine being concerned about you child’s health then receiving terrible service, she was Indian and she needs to go back to India or where ever she is from and not come here and talk nonsense, she is of colour and acting better than the same people of colour just because I’m black and she’s Indian, I hope she gets what’s coming for her

Very well stocked, prices compete well even with "Mega Pharmacy Chains" . Wonderful personal touch. Many friendly and knowledgable staff - always ready to help. Wait and queues - less than 10% as long as some mega pharmacies. Many pharmacists on duty at busy times. Brilliant health, nutrition, homeopathic, and natural medicine 'specialist' - Russel, who can hook you up with just the right OC meds, nutrition & vitamin combo for any condition. Excellent sister on duty daily. Open every day till quite late. Always lots of specials, discounts & loyalty program. On-the-ball, well informed and friendly cashiers and they also deliver to your door.

Oh where to start... Well, I'd give this pharmacy a 0 star review if I could. The service provided by those working at the pharmacy section is atrocious. They are rude and have no empathetic respect for those who come in seeking medicine for more sensitive (or taboo) situations. One can feel the looks of judgement and the judgemental tones are more than evident. The woman that helped us was exceptionally rude and seemed almost impatient with the questions myself and my friend had regarding both the medication and the pharmacy's protocol aswell. I would not recommend to anyone, unless you are okay with blatant disrespect.

I will NEVER NEVER NEVER support this business again and I will go out of my way to tell people what heartless lot this is. They have upped their prices on latex gloves overnight from a mear R90 to R149 there was nothing that has gone up like that to justify that increase then this arrogant Manager would tell me "take it or leave it" well he can take those gloves and stick it and hope to hell this virus doesnt get hold of him or love ones of him just because they whant to milk money from people.

If I could rate this pharmacy in the negative I would! I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the owner in regards to a mistake that they had caused in regards to my script. I recently moved here from Pretoria and have been to many pharmacies over 10 years and never experienced the absolute rudeness this man had me in tears. I suspect Peoples Pharmacy think their customers are a bunch of thieves. I was looking at the Aerosoft flip flops and a staff member asked me my size. He then proceeded to look for me. I politely told him I'd rather look myself but he proceeded to push in front of me so that I couldn't look. How extraordinarily rude. I'm not sure if this is bad training or rampant sexism but, as I felt both annoyed and intimidated, I left. If I could give this place a zero, I would.

I have never been to a pharmacy like People's Pharmacy, not only are the friendly and welcoming but they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The take the time to explain your medication to you and are able to answer any questions you may have. I travel to the pharmacy which is not close to me just for the fact they are outstanding. i think a few more pharmacy's need to take a leaf out of their book. Well done.

I've always had excellent service from your staff and pharmacists but today was the most disgusting service from your delivery guy. You explained why your driver delivered so late but what gave him the right to hit my dog who is not aggressive behind locked gates. Just because he thought nobody was watching him. Pathetic behaviour

I've had to spend the last hour consoling someone who's had an encounter with an extremely rude nurse. My advice to anyone seeking any assistance, please find another pharmacy. I'm probably not the first person complaining about rude nurses but I doubt anything will change. Save yourself the embarassment and go somewhere else.

Always friendly and helpful staff, from start to finish, the security, staff at the dispensary to the cashiers at the end. Was there last week and the clinic sister was very good with my wife as well as the elderly Indian lady at the dispensary who's name I can't remember. They live up to their motto.

Very helpful Pharmacist, but unfortunately my shopping experience was let down by an extremely rude front end manager. No customer orientated service, extremely poor attitude and has done the business, irreparable damage. Rather go elsewhere.

Not particularly impressed with this place. Their operating hours are rather inconvenient, especially considering that they are a pharmacy after all. Access should be a lot easier for the public.
