FIVE STARS! Jim at Pike Place Flowers was Amazing to work with! He was personable and Friendly and Very knowledgeable. He went the extra mile to get Beautiful Fresh Tulips delivered quickly to Swedish Hospital where my brother was recovering after surgery. He took time to really listen to me and help me decide on the perfect arrangement. I can’t say enough about Jim. I’ve worked in the floral business and it is intimidating to do business with some places if you aren’t familiar with how it all works. To really get what you want it is so important to speak directly with the florist to see what flowers they have available and what they recommend for the freshest Bokay. I felt so lucky to get someone like Jim on the phone. He made shopping from out of state so easy. The tulips were just as he described. They were Fresh and Lovely! I highly recommend Jim and the staff at Pike Place Flowers. The Bokay was Gorgeous and my brother absolutely Loved the tulips. It made my Day that the tulips made my brother so happy. Thank You Jim! I've purchased flowers 10 minutes before closing many times. Today for some reason, they did not want to help me out. I wanted to buy flowers for my wife and just did not want to satisfy a friendly pleading customer today. Most flower shop owners that I've met want to make a sale, but today I felt empowered to write a bad review enough to share my frustrated feelings. Another reason why I wouldn't give them more stars is because they have such a limited selection and another lost star for the attitude of what seems to be "Just wanting to get home" without telling me. Otherwise, they would 3 or 4 stars. Maybe if these people really cared about their business enough until the very end, they get more appreciative customers. Now, I'd rather go to Safeway to get my roses!

Jim, the owner, is amazing! I wanted to order a bouquet for a friend who had been in the ICU (a part of the hospital where you can't actually deliver flowers). Jim took my order, noted what I wanted, and followed up diligently for weeks until my friend was moved to another part of the hospital where he was able to deliver a beautiful bouquet to her -- he was so on top of it that he found he she had been moved before I did! Jim took care of everything and created the perfect bouquet, which was freshly made and delivered weeks after I first spoke to him! I can't do enough to express my gratitude for his thoughtfulness and excellent level of service and customer care. Thank you, Jim!

I contacted pike place flowers to supply my wedding with beautiful flowers. The man I spoke to on the phone said to email him and then he’d get back to me with quotes and we would take it from there. So he never emailed me back so I emailed again - nothing back. So after a while I called him and he said he would respond to my email. He said “I keep remembering you but I forget about you” and asked me to send another email and Then never responded to me at all. He didn’t care about my business. So I contacted their competitors and she said she has heard so many complaints about them and has gotten a lot of business because of their lack of customer service.

Ok, I have tried 6 times to start writing about our experience ordering flowers over the phone. I can not express the passion, care, and heart felt concern that Jim showed when he listened as we expressed what we were hoping for. Jim is amazing and I am still dumfounded by his amazing talent and then he delivered something so beautiful. He listened to our story and then created beauty. Our daughter turned 21 today and we live in Portland. In these scary times, we were not able to do what we envisioned but Jim made it feel as we gave her a diamond. He created a memory because he cared enough to listen and deliver.

I called looking to order flowers for my wife. I said I am in Rhode Island, before I could even explain why I was calling the man said we don't deliver in Rhode Island. Then I was explaining my wife was in Seattle getting a nose job. He said well we don't want to tell everyone that do we? In the note it was going to say a joke about the nose job so he would have known. My wife and her friend both are there getting nose jobs. The man was extremely rude, I hung up the phone. I called another place and spent $175 else where. Moral of the story, DO NOT BE RUDE.

I went to Pike Place Flowers to order a corsage and a boutonnieres for prom. The total cost was 59 dollars! And instead of giving me a boutonnieres, they gave me two corsages. When I ask them what I was suppose to do with two corsages, they just told me to pin it. Without giving the pins of course. The corsages themselves were by far the worst designs I have ever seen. It was just three rose taped up together. No ribbon, no leaves, nothing decorative. It was not worth 59 dollars, and I hope none of you get trick by them.

For the last 5 years or so, I've called Pike Place Flowers to arrange a bouquet for my sister that lives in Seattle (I'm in Chicago). Each time I call, I'm greeted by a warm smiling voice. I've always provided a budget, trusting their selection and arrangement, and each bouquet has been absolutely perfect and beautiful. If I've got flowers to send in Seattle, Pike Place Flowers is my go to. Hot tip to all you cheapos giving poor ratings based on prices; You get what you pay for in the world of flowers.

Jim, the owner, is THE MAN! AT 3:20 pm I had called every flower shop in Seattle and none of them even considered a same day delivery of a single bouquet to Harbor View Med Ctr. Jim, pretty sure he was on his cell phone, considered it and made it happen. He even said if his driver didn't have time he would drive the flowers himself on his way home from work! Seriously epic! She got her flowers shortly after 5pm. Thanks Jim!

We showed up to get a bundle at closing and they were wonderful! The lady custom made a bu dke with my choose of colors and she was very nice and talkative which I enjoyed as well as my husband and little babygirl! I will always keep them on my mind when I go there and probably will only buy from them when I do shop there. The flowers are beautiful ❤️ and I love looking at them everyday! Thank you!

Really impressed with the level of service!!! I didn't know I had the wrong address for the recipient. The owner, Jim, called me while trying to deliver the flowers. There was no house at the address I provided :(. Jim told me not to worry, he had a few more ideas to try to find the right location. Appreciate his perseverance and wanting to keep it a surprise for the recipient.

Fantastic customer service. Jim (the owner) went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. He delivered our anniversary rose bouquet (a secret for my wife) to our taxi. We were on our way to the cruise terminal from the airport in a taxi and Jim delivered the flowers (nicely packaged to keep the surprise) by walking across a busy street in Seattle.

Most recently I called out of the blue, after having relocated out of state. I had a birthday delivery request that was somewhat unusual and knew I could trust these guys to make it happen! Wow is all I can say!!! My girlfriend is in Seattle for her birthday with her best friend and I’m in Texas where I’m from at work and literally Jim and his helpers couldn’t have made it any easier from miles away to have flowers and card delivered to her romantically. Jim and his team did an amazing job for both of my weddings (elopement and larger wedding in the Seattle area). He was a great communicator and took all of my family’s input (of which there was a LOT) to create the most memorable bouquets. He’s also incredibly nice and delivered the bouquets nearby. Amazing service. I called from Phoenix for delivery to a friend at Virgina Mason. There was a mix-up--not the florist's fault at all, but he is going to make another bouquet. Friendly, professional, and when I get up to Seattle, I'm going to give my sister flowers just so I can go in and say hi.

I called twice to get Eucalyptus leaves for my wedding backdrop , was very rude. This place is overrated and will not give my money where they don't value customers. I recognized through the reviews a lot of the people who had bad experiences were people of color so this is a racist business!

I had to call to make sure the address I had submitted for delivery online was correct. The owner was extremely personable, professional and helpful! The flowers were delivered the next day and were absolutely beautiful! I would most definitely recommend and will be back for future purchases.

I ordered flowers for my boyfriend on Valentines day and they arrived first thing in the morning. I called the shop that morning and they went out of their way to accommodate me and to make sure my delivery would be on time. They are truly lovely people and they run a wonderful business.
