Pros: Nice campus, nice location, mostly friendly students/peers, exceptional scholarship schemes, some staff genuinely care about student performance and wellbeing. Once established disability services will chase up your electronic books early, some staff in disability services are passionate about equity. Cons: Disability services processes were clunky, and their exam adjustments rarely met the arrangements outlined in the support plan (really big problem) and it lacked a fully functional complaints process. Some academics are good, but most were average in business/economics/finance. Some lecturers were incredibly hard to understand and suffered significant language barriers. Data Analysis subject had a tutor that preprepared a MS Word sheet set it up on the projector then just dictated the answers, not really getting into the subject material or theories, another tutor for the same subject was professional and applied the theory the whole way through, which demonstrates the varied nature of quality in teaching at QUT. Investments subject I had to find a new tutorial to secure a group as limited students in my class spoke fluent English, which was a reoccurring issue (there was a presentation component to this unit).

I was a student on this campus few years back and the experience was amazing. From the serene environment, to well equipped classes and top notch lecturers. The library, the various study rooms and group discussion studios, technology facilities and so much more. The ease of inter campus transport from here to the Kelvin grove campus was so smooth and seamless. It remained the best educational experience I ever had and wish to go back some days

Nice amenities and learning facilities, although their quality has noticeably dropped since switching to online classes. Many courses use recycled content, such as pre-recorded lectures from previous years. This wouldn't be such a big issue if there weren't constant updates in the field I'm studying. Several issues arose with lack of up-to-date information during my lectures in 2021.

Awful University!! This University deserves to have zero stars! Avoid QUT completely, no support & terrible facilities! They will not acknowledge my Mental & Physical Health Conditions which has prevented me to study for life. QUT has refused to accept my appeal for Withdraw without academic/financial penalty. QUT is inhumane!!

Have just recently visited for the William Robinson(bill) exhibition. "Elixir of light". He's well worth the visit - more than that he's an extraordinary painter.! The old Government House is a draw card on its own. Home to the Lamington. The view from the gardens below the house are worth the time alone. A great discovery.

your carpark at gardens points road sucks, Spent more than an hour trying to get out after picking up someone. Traffics was a standstill. Security navigating traffic at roundabout near goodwill bridge was quite useless. Still not sure why there’s a jam getting out. someone needs to fix this mess. First & last time here!

Fantastic facility! Beautiful campus on well manicured grounds. I was her to speak at the International Society for Professional Innovation Management Summit. I found that the faculty and students I engaged with to be of the highest quality and passionate about what they were doing.

Fantastic campus, has plenty of cool spots to hang around, eat, study, or whatever you want to do. Also has plenty of places to have some water or fill a bottle, which is very useful. There are also other amenities around campus, such as bike lockers, bathrooms, and charging ports

Peaceful atmosphere with the botanical gardens adjacent to the uni which makes it feel less of a city which is a plus. All transport leads to the city which makes it very convenient for anyone. It's a pity there is no cheaper parking options for those needing to travel far.

Such a great campus. It has almost everything. The concrete jungle has both a urban village feel and both a corporate feel to it. I always loved commuting to and from the campus during my undergraduate days. Ahh those late night study sessions in the 24hr labs ... …

I was a student of QUT. Though my campus was the QUT Kelvin Grove Campus, the initial preparatory programme was done at this campus. Also, I completed a couple of ALA Fellowships at this campus. So, I am also quite familiar with this campus as well.

University condones liars over unwell students and deems a wallet a bigger threat than a bomb threat when considering a result. Uni should have the same fate as Evocca college. Government should stop vet help to it.

Impressive building set ups. Plenty of places to eat and there is also a gym (paid membership) in the campus. Quick access to Ferry and located conveniently close to the CBD. WIFI is reliable too!

Great university, with an impressive campus. Direct access to the Botanic Gardens, and South Bank via the pedestrian bridge make this inner-city university feel like its got a sprawling campus.

Great concert, music Band, well done to everyone for a rocking night, rain didn't dampen our spirits Thanks Midnight Oil for your kindness and many years of great music …

QUT gardens point campus is situated right in the heart of Brisbane city, next to the city’s botanical garden. Beautiful greenery that students can take a break in between classes.

Beautiful QUT gardens to relax in after a long day of study. If you look closely at the flowers you can see all the busy bees collecting pollution. Worth the visit every time.

Great university, it is not to hard to get to, about the same as uq, great teaching. I appreciate that the campus is very compact and the buildings are easy to get around.

  • Alicia Mitchell

Great campus. Unfortunately google maps will try to take you to the riverside expressway and drop you off there, instead of going to George St or Lamington Drive

  • Syed Rehan

A lovely place, beautiful combination of both old and modern architectures. Access to Botanical garden is a bliss for students.

Brisbane is good but no trains to the gold coast on a Sunday night sucks so I'm stuck here until 4.30 5 for a train …

  • Nuwan Gunarathne

One of the most picturesque campuses in Brisbane. Close to the city Center, botanical gardens and river

  • John Allen

There was some wonderful music from the Brisbane Pipe Band that was a real treat on a Sunday morning.

  • Venkumahanti sarat patnaik
