Shortly after receiving my library card, I ask the extremely kind front desk women if they had any thing for kindles they pointed me to the "ask help" desk. I asked the man at the desk where to find the app and he went on and on about how what I was asking was too much from him and that he took a 4 hour chores about all this information that he can not give me. He then told me that instead of coming to him I should of just logged onto the public library website to get my answers. I asked him which app he preferred and he then went to tell me that he only reads real books and that this system should really be taken away. Then my daughter was talking to me and he goes "she really shouldn't be making any noises". So, the women at the front desk are AMAZING. So, kid and helpful and treated my daughter and I with respect. The man at the "ask help" desk should really reevaluate why he's in a costumer service job.

Today I was having the worst day of my life. On my way home (6hours away from Jacksonville) My bank denied me a letter of residency for me to get my Florida license, I ran out of gas, I had no money at all. When I came to this library the lady at the front desk was so kind to me, she gave me a ticket to print my paperwork to fix all my issues. I literally had no money to pay for those print outs. When I got done she told me it was okay I didn’t had to pay anything. I wanted to cried in front of her. After her action my day got ALOT better. Thank you so much to the beautiful black lady at the front desk, she was incredible not just to me but to the people in front of me. I hope she gets to read this bc she changed my entire week. Thank you! ❤️❤️

The Regency Library is one of the BEST libraries I've visited. I've been coming to this particular branch for over 10 years and it's ALWAYS clean! Downtown is nice TOO! The staff are quite friendly and helpful. There is also a separate area for the "Tiny Tots" so parents can spend time with them without disrupting the main area of the Library's functions. I LOVE to go get movies to watch. As long as you have a members card, you can check out books, dvds, cds, audio books, and there are also private rooms you can reserve to use for personal use as well as group meetings, so get out there and visit your neighborhood libraries and how much fun you and your kids can have! The building is kept clean inside and out. It us just some of the people. I will send a pic. Later. I forgot. Why is there a loud bright ntrusivw neon light lighting up the book return. Laughs only here! I still am not satisfied with the explanation of why I came into the library 2021 and was told by rabbit man that my card had expired in 2019. I told him. I was just in last month. He tells me I don't know. I do not know was his answer was just not satisfactory for me. A blip would have been more reasonable. Again. It is OK. JUST AN OPINION.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, the first in quite some time. The library has a security officer on duty, which is a great service to the public. The librarian helped me with several questions I asked, including how to obtain a PIN # for my library card. I used a reserved room to teach a chess lesson and was surprised to see a beautiful chess display with accompanying literature just outside our Study Room, quite an extraordinary blessing, given the circumstances.

It is a very cool place. And staff are super kind and helpful. A very much variety of books me and my children like there very much. They urge me to go again every week. But we have never found any chess board there, I want to play chees with my sons in this calm atmosphere. I wish they would have next time I visit. You are doing a very perfect job guys, please do what you are doing all time. I appreciate your efforts. Many thanks

This isn't a creepy library, it's just older. I never felt unsafe here. The children's section is very nice. My toddler loves the story time they offer. The reference staff are very helpful. They actually show you the book in the stacks not just give you a piece of paper with the Dewey number on it. A good number of books are available and interlibrary loans are easy if you don't find what you are looking for.

I grew up in the area, spent much of my childhood summers there. Glad it is there for my son, and grandson. Love this place. Despite some that say it is “ghetto”? If that is your opinion then, stay away from ALL libraries. You are going to have “elements” at all of them. That isn’t fault of library. SMH at that comment

I miss walking two miles to the library to do homework.with the neighborhood kids back in the 90s. Fighting over why the card catalog wasn't in order (ha-ha) My kids will not know that feeling however they LOVE the peace and quiet when we go and they absolutely love the kids area. And it is ALWAYS clean Thank you.

I was on a fifteen minute break. Needed to get paper work and head back to work. I was flushed and in a rush. The librarian's were very helpful. Even though I knew what I needed to get done, I went blank. And they came to my rescue every step of the way.. Great experience..

Librarians in the children area are always so kind and helpful. The kids always leave feeling excited about their treasures and having had a good time. They go above and beyond to find books of interest and even have them shipped to this location when needed.

Great staff! Very efficient, not creepily friendly! Update February 2016 Tried story hour; good option for free children's activities. First timers may have an adverse reaction (cry) to the new situation but I heard it gets better. Tuesdays at 10:15

This branch is still open, thankfully. It is small but nice. The last visit we had, the children's librarian was very helpful. I asked for some picture books about trains and she found some great choices. We will continue to visit this location.

Clean, light and airy! Love the Puzzle Table. Also, for a branch...the selections are excellent. I am a weekly visitor and really enjoy my time there. Great staff, great selections and wonderful environment.

Very helpful staff. Found the books we needed and even had a book held for us that wasn't in stock during our visit. They also host different events during the week. Will definitely be returning.

They dont even answer their phone during work hours. Very ghetto location with very sketchy people. Saw someone watching porn while I was taking my children there for a class project.

Why does it always stink at this library? I can't study with that odor. I must have a good nose. Nice library size but needs cleaning, and tell the homeless to wash their clothes!

One of our favorite libraries around town. The children's book area is so inviting and the employees are always so helpful. We always end up leaving with armfuls of books!

This library location has a nice, spacious children's area. There are also interesting naval model displays. Children's programs are pre-register now for most events.

So many memories at this library it was the first one I had ever been too. My siblings used to play here seven years ago. Perfect place for children and adults alike.

What an excellent library. Its beautiful and quiet. The librarian waived my guest pass fee, security is friendly, help desk is kind and patient. Nice environment!

It was great to be able to go in to the library. Everyone is so nice and helpful there. They're checking your temperatures and have 6ft distance markers.
