Beautiful library, nice selection, plenty of meeting rooms. However, we have had multiple instances where staff have gone out of their way to say something to my family and each time it came across as extremely rude and unnecessary. On one occasion my son was in the children's area looking at the train (not touching, LOOKING) and a staff member scolded him, blocked off the area, and said he was not allowed. If that's the attitude why even put it up, in a children's area! We have tried to create a love of reading in our young children and wanted to make the library an enjoyable experience for them but, unfortunately, these type of instances have happened multiple times at this location. The staff at this location act incredibly stuck up and have repeatedly made my family feel unwelcome. I could understand if my children were being unruly and out of hand but every time the staff has said something to us it has been for ridiculous things. For a long time we only went through the drive-thru instead and that worked out better. However, we recently tried to go inside again and had a similar experience. At this point, we'd rather not bother coming here.

The staff is extremely rude! Our 17-year old daughter was walking our 11-year old daughter around, and when she placed her arm around her when sitting at a computer... Apparently that is considered "inappropriate touching" and it is against the Library's Code of Conduct; crazy to think that we thought we walked into a Public Library not a Military-Style Prison. Thanks for making this an enjoyable experience for my children. Here we're trying to get our littlest one want to and enjoy the aspect of reading.

This is the best branch in Jacksonville. The people are super. The helpful and friendly staff are willing and able to help you with you're searching for or or research. There never crowded. This is the true epitome of what a library should be in your heart and mind, being able to sit down and study or read or just check out your media.. I would highly recommend this place to family and friends or anyone that is involved is any information or research.

I love that my 15 year old school with learning difficulties can have such a great time doing activities. We love the staff and are very helpful. I love picking up a great book and getting lost in the seating area. My mind can relax as my son has fun. If I could go to the library everyday I would. Just finished two books and have two on hold. I can’t wait to pick them up

I have studied for a few tests here. Everyone is courteous of each other. I have not needed any help personally, since I come with my laptop and books just to study. However, I have seen plenty of staff being extremely helpful to other guests of every age. Wifi is fast. Restrooms are clean. There is even a little corner to buy a snack or drink if you need to. No complaints here!

This was my first visit and I had no idea where anything was located and they were quick to not just point in the right direction of what i was looking for but to actually walk me to the exact location and help me look. I say the best library In Jacksonville. Very clean always quiet and smells nicely. Always people around to help you if you need it. I am so thankful this little library came to chaffee rd when my boys were in school. Kids are well behaved in here also. Nobody running wild. Thank you keep up the good work!!

Shouldn't host non-HOA posing as an HOA's community meetings where new people get yelled/screamed at until they leave. Suggest not letting community meetings be held there any longer if they continue to harbor disrespectful and unruly behavior (I'm looking at you Panther Creek Community "HOA").

Nice children's area with different activities to keep kids busy/entertained. They had board games and coloring pages (adults and children). There's even an area in the front of the library with two vending machines to grab snacks and sit down and eat before heading in to explore.

Finally a quiet place to study. Best branch I have been to so far. Keep up the good work. I love how quiet and calming it is. The aesthetics is beautiful and is doesn't have a musky smell like the other branches. I love how it has separate compartments for each age group.

I love this library by far the best in Jacksonville, very clean, spacious and quite!! I come here to study its never crowded and I can get what I need done. The staff is very helpful and polite. The City of Jacksonville should be very proud of this location.

We love this library! The building is so clean and beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. Also, using the Jax library app makes keeping track of checkouts and holds so easy, as well as looking up where books are located while at the library.

Great library with wonderful children's section. Very large, with many sections. Quite places to read or study. Free Wi-Fi. My children enjoyed playing in the playroom while my wife picked out books.

This has been, will continue to be my number one choice library outside of the main library. The staff is very welcoming and very helpful even if you don't need it and I appreciate people like that.

West Branch Library is a marvelous part of our area. The spacious building is well lit, clean, and has a robust collection of books, periodicals and media. The librarians are kind and helpful.

It’s a great place to go when I need to settle down and relax. The type of place where I feel like I can go when I need to clear my mind, think to myself, and settle down and read a nice book.

Been using the west branch library ever since it opened. Love the convenience and the services offered there. This is a top notch use of my tax dollars. Was delighted to see it re-open.

Between the staff and sheer availability and ease of information accessibility this Library "system" is one to visit. The staff friendly and in my case "patient". Always appreciated.

Workers are always nice. Always up for some chit chat while you're checking out. Never any long lines. I grew up with the Regency library. This one is so much cleaner & spacious.

This is a great library, but please look into putting tables in the cafe area! Nobody wants to eat on the floor
