A temple hidden in series of houses on Windsor road! We’ve always noticed the sanctum tomb (Gopuram) while driving past but always wondered where is this place! Finally got a chance to drive to the place. You need have A+ level skills to navigate the traffic and park inside the shrine parking spots. It’s a bit of challenge. But rest is great. You have a Windsor road busses ferrying from parramatta which would stop around. That’s another way to commute. Temple is wheel chair friendly! Main goddess Durga along with Aatma Lingaeshwara, Vinayaka deity been worshipped here. Along with Shiva , Navagraha and Hanuman, Naga .. there’s a small Harali Katte or peepal tree List of poojas performed is also mentioned inside the temple and available on demand via WhatsApp.

My partner and I got married in Sydney Shakti Temple recently. The temple is very peaceful. The temple owner (Mr. Muthu Menon) and the Pandit ji are very humble and good-natured people. Mr. Menon kept me very well informed up to the wedding ceremony. He coordinated with the vendor and made sure I liked the decorations. I am glad I found this temple because I live in the US, and good coordination through phone/text was of utmost importance to me, and Mr. Menon did that wonderfully.

Beautiful temple dedicated to Ma Shakthi in the toongabbie/Pendle hill neighbourhood. The temple is built by Fiji natives ,you will see God names uniquely mentioned and prayer rituals and timings different. Temple closes around noon weekdays and opens late in the evening. On weekends , they are open longer, but always check the timings before you go. PARKING is an issue at the temple that has limited to 4or5. Nearby street parking is the option. Closer to public transport by bus.

The temple has all the deities- Durga goddess, Ganesha, Kartikeya, Shivji and Navgrah too. Hanumanji and peepal tree is also there on the campus. The only problem is it's on the main road and there is less parking space. So you may have to park on the back streets and walk. They sell small diyas and shani sesame lamps too. You can do anna danam too and they have a small room for performing yagnas and poojas. Overall a serene and divine place.

This is a great temple and the management is very hard working. I have performed Pooja in many temples across Sydney but the yagna I performed here was the most satisfying. The temple priest is very knowledgeable and understands both North and South Indian customs. Car parking is a hassle but there is street parking on the other side and a very small walk to the temple. Once you are in you will enjoy your visit.

Durga temple on Windsor road with lord Shiva, naga devata and navagraha Murti. A separate small hall for events is available too. We can probably park a car inside the temple on weekdays, but on weekends, I think we have to find a spot on street parking. There are only 4 car parking spots inside the temple.

Beautiful temple dedicated to goddess Shakti. Never been here before. Not a lot of parking but we were lucky I guess. The temple has this sorta energy you feel that very few places have in the sanctum. The priests and the temple managers were lovely to talk to. A must visit

Pleasant and serene atmosphere. Washing Shiv Linga with own hands is very satisfying holy feeling. Nice plants and idols of Maa Shakthi on walls and in the Sanctum is excellent. Recommend any one to visit and get the blessings of Maa Shakthi. God Bless all

  • Ravi Raja

Beautiful temple with amazing architecture and sculptures. Very neat and pleasant. Maa Durga enshrined in this beautiful temple is very sacred and devine. You can experience the divinity and peace of mind in this wonderful temple.

  • Suma Sheelavantar

Beautiful temple hidden between houses. Parking s the only ssue. If you are coming for the first time, try to park somewhere nearby / on the road behind the temple and walk to the temple to avoid parking issues.

  • Kritika Sharma

So beautiful, peaceful and blissful durga and murugan temple. Sivalingha and hamuman ji deity also in the temple. It's so pleasant being there. Must go for the positive energy.

  • Sahil Singhania

Heads up regarding parking, there are only a couple parking spots inside, which is temporarily fenced. Better to park in the behind street and take a short walk to the temple.

  • Sameer

Great place, positive vibes. Off street parking is a challenge as this is on a busy road. You can find a spot on the back street.

  • Yojana Pareek

Very divine. Compact and close atmosphere to have great experience of spirituality. Loved it more after renovation

  • Harsh Priyadarshi

At the moment due to renovations, Temple timings are erratic and the idols are lodged in a makeshift arrangement.

  • Shwe

Well maintained and good changes brought about to the temple. Very happy to be associated with this temple.

  • Sunil K Mehrotra

The temple is very well maintained. But there was no provision for Prassdam to persons coming to temple.
