"I bought a roll cake , the cake was very soft and fluffy but the filling wasn’t up to our likings as we are used to have sweet cake with sweet cream but the cream was very salty"
"The customer service of this place is really bad"
"Hands down the best bubble tea in Birmingham! I had the Kuan Yin Charcoal tea"
"Lovely cakes and buns here but roast pork buns always sold out so quickly by 2pm"
"Charged way more than the cake was priced on the shelf and when I queried this after realising I’d been overcharged just shrugged and said the shelf label was wrong "
I bought a roll cake , the cake was very soft and fluffy but the filling wasn’t up to our likings as we are used to have sweet cake with sweet cream but the cream was very salty. They handled our complaints very well. And replaced our orders. The caramel tea was next level A++ I need to find that cake with sweet cream filling …
The customer service of this place is really bad. The products are tasty, but the two young girls serving are so rude and not professional. They need manners and social skills when they interact with customers and do simple tasks such as taking the orders! I am so disappointed in their service!
Hands down the best bubble tea in Birmingham! I had the Kuan Yin Charcoal tea. It came with jelly which was new and unexpected but it was so delicious. Almost better than bubbles. They also have amazing authentic pastries and cakes here. If you’re coming to Chinatown, you’ve got to come here!
Lovely cakes and buns here but roast pork buns always sold out so quickly by 2pm. Disappointed when I visited in the afternoon. Love the bubble tea too, had lychee green tea yesterday and it was refreshing. This matcha roll is nice, but the red bean is a bit sweet.
Charged way more than the cake was priced on the shelf and when I queried this after realising I’d been overcharged just shrugged and said the shelf label was wrong . If the label is wrong change it although I kinda doubt that was what was actually going on
Came here for egg tarts and it did not disappoint. Although I haven't been here for years, this is the place we have always gone. You put what you want on the tray and take it to the checkout where they will box it up for you. Service was fine, no issues
Great varieties of cakes, really soft and spongy too. I wish they offer eat-in someday. 4 stars because we can’t eat in there(nothing related to the taste). The black forest cake was not too sweet but really soft and tasty. I highly recommend. More
Great egg tarts and buns, but what awful customer service Waited ages to be served, ignored by staff who chatted with their backs to me. Another disappeared. What's happened to this old bakery? It wasn't like this before they revamped it... …
Visited many times. Delicious pastries - especially the egg tarts. A little expensive but that is expected. The owner (who is always there) can be a little rude though. The last time I visited, she wasn't impressed that I wanted to pay and
I've been here on multiple occasions and have had the egg tarts, buns, bubble tea and a durian pancake. The bubble tea was good but overall, it was nothing to write home about. As others mentioned, customer service was terrible. I've stood
The best Chinese cake ever . Even better than London . Read reviews and I find the people well mannered . They just want to get on with work and multi task . Only trying to make a living and deliver top class cakes and pastry . The best
I am simply giving them a one star because I am sick and tired of the exact same issue over and over which most of the people are experiencing from this bakery and its not only visible in person at the bakery but from the reviews. The
Not sure what happened to all the old cakes that used to be served? The 5 stars was for the fresh cakes that were sold over the last 20 years, I've yet to try the new cakes as it's changed over ownership, I hope they're just as good.
Service is good and their egg tarts are the absolute best! The bubble tea is also really good and I would recommend going to pick up any pastry or drink! I went to this bakery at least 15 times during my 1 month visit to Birmingham
Me and my family have been loyal customers to this bakery for over a decade now; not only this, we would usually buy a lot of pastries from the shop.. However over recent years, upon me showing my student id for discount (which is
Service absolutely stinks and staff are so rude. Only went in for egg custard tarts and I wish I hadn’t given them my money because honestly the staff were so unhelpful. Even giving them 1 star is generous!
Nice bakery and bubble tea place. They seems to be rather traditional. The only reason of three start is that they messed up all bubble teas we ordered (me and my girlfriend) and were unwilling to fix it.
You can’t leave Chinatown without panic buying all the buns It’s hard to find bakeries around town, so I grabbed all the buns I could when I found a Chinese bakery hehe♀️
Not suitable for vegetarians as most of the baked goods contain pork lard. Was not written on cards so I asked to confirm. Worker said it is written on the cards but it was not stated anywhere
Had delivered. Loved the bakery goods. So happy to have discovered a Chinese bakery I am obsessed with everything coconut they do!!! Goes perfectly with a hot drink. More
Really good selection of bubble teas, mochi and pasteries Staff were very friendly too, especially the young lady serving me and my family
Best Chinese bakery in town. Try the authentic egg tarts in puff pastry; at a very reasonable 90p each. You will not be disappointed!
Piping hot egg tart. Reasonably priced. Delicious. Reminds me of home. Gotta get this if you are Asian and checking out Birmingham!
i got a couple baked things and they were tasty. good value for money i was surprised. would deffo try more things from here More
The bubble tea was really good and refreshing. We chose 2 different milk teas which were both yummy and a reasonable price …
Wonderful sweet treats at fair prices. The boba tea was also great. I had the mango pomelo sago.. Highly recommended!
Very busy. Food was great but has gotten worse. However still great!
