Incompetent and unprofessional. Pipework for the boiler leaked the night of installation, I had to direct the water to my sink with cut up bottles because trays were filling up within a couple of hours. It took 47 days and 7 visits to fix. Left all the rubbish from the install and old boiler in the front garden and left copper shavings all over the kitchen. Didn't show up on time and a few times didn't show up at all. Didn't register the boiler, nearly missing the registration period (3 months). It only got registered because I rang up the manufacturer wondering if they were backlogged because that's what Michael kept telling me. Took nearly 4 months to get the manual I should have had straight away. Michael and his 'admin/girlfriend' lied to me about it being sent in the mail, only that I persisted did I actually receive the manual. Price paid was £2,640.00 for a Baxi eco compact 25 combi with 5 years warranty. The whole experience from start to finish was stressful and frustrating. I wouldn't go with them for free.

We have used this trader a couple of times. The second time will definitely be the last. He came to fix a dripping boiler that was not providing hot water. Did not seem to know what part was required but sold a solution at the price of £630 and no guarantee that it would fix the hot water issue. Rang the next day to say there was an issue with ordering the part and that it was now discontinued so we had no other option but to buy a new boiler at £1400. Before committing to this we rang the boiler manufacturer who pointed us in the direction of another local plumber. The new plumber knew straight away that it was a diverter valve and motor issue (which is common) and advised us to replace them. Overall works to repair the job £230. We was also told that all parts for the boiler were still readily available at most suppliers. In summary he did not seem to know the solution to the issue but was happy to take as much money as he could get for the repair

My boiler broke, leaving me with no heating in November! When I contacted Michael at Eco Tech, he responded promptly and rearranged his schedule to fit me in and get me warm as quickly as possible. He identified the issue quickly, advised on costs of repair versus new boiler and fitted the new one in a day. He also popped back a couple of days later to balance all my radiators, when one wasn't heating up. He'll be my go to for plumbing and gas works from now on. Very happy to have found him and to recommend him to others.

We used Michael to fit a new bath for us. He gave us an excellent price and stuck to it even when the install turned out to be much more difficult and time consuming due to hidden pipework and an extremely poor install with the old bath. Couldn't recommend these guys more. My elderly mum's boiler packed in, they came out really quick to provide a quote and then we're able to come in a replace with a new combi boiler within a couple of days. They worked all hours, were really friendly, and really responsive.
