British Gas and BoxT cannot lay a glove on this guys service- I phoned on a Sunday thinking 50/50 whether I would get an answer. No problem – I got to talk to a real human being who would do the job – this was a good start but it got better. Paul the owner/ plumber picked up and I described a dire situation whereby my son took over new property in Leeds, and the boiler was not supplying hot water. Talked through the pros and cons of fixing or replacing- which he did without any pushiness and I decided on the latter. After the initial call – Paul asked if he could pop round and survey the exact installation etc because he wasn’t too far away. That took place 1 hour after the call. He then texted back with price/ model and warranty detail immediately. I checked the price on internet and it was competitive. Gave the go ahead- and although busy Paul stated he would fit in us in quickly. The boiler was fitted within 24 hrs later to a very professional standard. Yes fitted the very next day the Monday!!! I asked for info on how to a. top the boiler- b. set the Thermo- I was sent by return a video showing me the basics which was perfect. I can honestly say as regards service – no praise is high enough it literally was 5*, if everything in life was so easy it would make things so much better. If Carlsberg did Plumbing – this is what it would look like.

Very late review. A few years ago my elderly father had a smart meter installed and the engineer that his energy supplier sent left him in the lurch by finishing up his installation and proceeding to tell him he had a gas leak so he’d cut the gas and that he’d need to call someone to get it sorted. (There was no leak before he put the smart meter in). I called Paul up that morning and he and his team literally turned up 2 hours later, stopping on the way back from another job. He went out of his way to squeeze the job in when he didn’t have to. Although it turned out there was no leak, he checked it all out and he and his team made sure it was all safe. For what he charged for what I’d deem an emergency call out, it was a fraction of what we expected. He could have charged my father much more and he’d have been happy to pay as it would have been justified. But it genuinely felt like he wanted to pass by, make sure the house was safe, and just be compensated a little for his time which is as fair as you can get. Leaving this review now as it still stuck with me after all this time!

Was very friendly when he came round, we called him because his sticker was on the boiler itself when we moved in so assumed he would have knowledge of that particular boiler, but he didn't solve the problem actually made it worse. We had hot water before he came and when he left the pressure was so high in the boiler (above 3 bar) and we had no hot water. Called another plumber who came out for free and put a temporary fix in place until we could get a new boiler. He advised that what ever was done to the boiler previously had put it under a huge amount pressure and if we hadn't have called him when we did we could have had a disastrous leak, (which would have resulted in being even more expensive). He said that the fix he did, although temporary, will see us through the weekend which was a sigh of relief in the cold weather and it was apparently a very common temporary fix which should have been done before if someone had been round.

After using many tradesman for different things over the years I have very little confidence and have NEVER written a review before! One of my tenants (with small children) was without water and heating due to a completely old broken boiler this morning! Sunday! And 2 days before Xmas..... I naturally panicked and due to past experience didn’t think I had a hope in hell of sorting this out? I called Paul with a very small hope that he may help but expected the dreaded no sorry can’t do anything! Wrong! This guy phoned everyone he knew in the trade to find somewhere open to purchase a new boiler, located one and it was fitted and working within hours! He is not only such a lovely person but extremely capable and I would recommend this business to anyone! He’s really restored my faith in tradesman and I will not hesitate to use him and recommend to everyone and anyone. My tenant is very happy thank you Paul x

Just moved into a new property and discovered numerous issues. Blaymires was recommended to me by a family member. They came out to do a diagnostic within 24 hours, and did a full boiler replacement a few days later, despite being very busy. They all worked hard in the heat (25C) and the job was done in less than 3 hours. Their rates were excellent for the job size. A separate builder has since verified it was a sound job at a good price. They also did a late night call out the same day for a separate issue, and were in and out in 10 mins sorting it out for us no problem, and again not charging huge late call out fees. Came back from holiday to no hot water. Tried all the YouTube suggestions but no luck. Called out Paul who promptly came out late on Thursday evening. Paul was polite, courteous and went through everything he could to eliminate the problem on an old boiler. He was then honest with me and actually recommended a service the manufacturer provide which in his eyes was the best option and cost effective method. Called them first thing, they will come and fix the boiler under this service. Thank you Paul for your knowledge, skills and honesty. amid the covid positive crisis at home, yesterday suddenly our kitchen sink was not draining at all. I tried all sort of home tweaks. also called my letting agency but they were unwilling to send any plumber to sort out my issues. i was so in a bad situation. but then i suddenly got connected to Paul Blaymire, and he was so kind enough to come down the very same evening (with all necessary kits and precaution for covid situation) and resolved my issue in a short time. I am so glad to say, it was a real relief, and my family is very happy. hats off to Paul. you saved my day mate !!!!

Recommended months ago by parents and grandparents whom both had boiler replacements from Blaymire’s. My boiler decided to cause a large puddle in cellar one day during the cold month, Paul came to the rescue and did a quick fix to get heating up and running for my family. Months down the line the 10 year old boiler decided to give me more grief, Paul came out the next day from me calling and gave me a quote that was satisfactory. Contacted Paul to carry out a boiler service on an older combi boiler at a commercial property we had recently purchased. Paul arrived first thing the next morning and carried out the service quickly and efficiently. The boiler passed but with it being an older boiler he advised me on a couple of small issues to keep an eye out for as they may cause us issue in the future which was much appreciated. Boiler service price was very good and I felt it was value for money. I will be keeping his details and would be happy to use him for any future works.

My boiler broke down, we have a Wooster bosh in the house. Spoke with Paul at Blaymires plumbing and heating. He give me sound advice and told me to contact Wooster we did and they came out and fixed it with a one off fee. With out Paul’s advice I wouldn’t of known what to do. He is a sound guy he doesn’t believe in ripping his customers off. If the out come was I needed a new boiler then he would be my first point of call as I wouldn’t have got another Wooster bosh boiler if they couldn’t have repaired it. Thanks again Paul.

I rang Paul when my boiler broke which happened to be when my partner went into labour. We were both concerned about having no hot water or heating for our return from the hospital thinking no one would come out instantly. Paul was nearly in his van by the time we finished our phone call. Paul and the team came straight through and ripped all the old boiler and pipe work out and installed a brand new one with a gas safety certificate. All his service and work is 5 star and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

one star is a very generous review. Charges money for non-correct work and then "fobs" you off. so on Christmas eve I noticed a leak on my boiler only 3 weeks after Paul had so called serviced it. so now Ive had to ruin some else's Christmas by having them come out and put right what he didn't and yes he will know who wrote this review. and if his response is that I was abusive is incorrect, and also if he says all reading were in range I had a report from the 3rd party engineer who can prove him wrong.

During a kitchen fit realised the gas pipe had been retro fitted and would be in the way for the new kitchen. At very short notice paul sorted me out with Anthony from Moortown plumbing and property maintenance Ltd. Brill service great job. Hats off to great guys working together to help out especially at shirt notice and bank holiday weekend. Highly recommend. Used Paul a second time he was out to me within 30mins for a hob connection. Paul came out a to give our boiler its first annual service. He spotted a few problems that were due to the installer of the boiler doing a shoddy job. He called the firm who installed the boiler for me and gave them a stern word and arranged for them to come out and fix their problems! He didn't have to do this as there was nothing in it for him. The service was carried out quickly and with a smile. Top bloke. Will be sure to use for our next service or if we have any issues. Highly recommend.

Needed a new combi boiler after the old one finally gave up the ghost. Also needed a lot of new piping etc because it was such an old system. Paul promptly visited us to give us an assessment and quote. When we said we’d use him he was on the job within 2 days and got it all done remarkably quickly…. Mainly down to him bringing his 4 lads. They all worked so well and efficiently as a team and did an excellent job. I’m sure we’ll use him again in the future if necessary.

Well what can I say Paul was as an absolute lifesaver. Our boiler cut out at 8pm and after spending 2 hours trying to find someone we were recommended Paul and we can completely understand why, he came out at 10pm within 20 minutes of contacting him and fixed our boiler in no time at all. He was such a genuinely lovely person who was reassuring to a very worried young homeowner who had never dealt with boiler issues before. Could recommend him and his services enough.

Rung in as i couldn’t get bath tap off. What was supposed to be a small job turned into a massive job. It took well over an hour to sort and although it wasn’t something they deal with normally they got the tap off and fitted a new one for me. Had to repreassurise our boiler numerous time daily for quite a while. Spoke to a number of 'engineers' that kept fobbing us off with 'you need this part and that part' called Paul and he came out looked over the boiler and knew exactly what the problem was. Had it sorted in less than 2 hours and saved us a fortune. We now have a warm house and hot water. Thanks Paul and team, really appreciate it.

Great service. I called late in the morning to report a leak in my kitchen ceiling (the shower is directly above it) and although they were busy that day, they managed to squeeze us in that evening. They quickly attended to the problem. There were gaps in the sealant around the shower, leading to the leak, so they sealed it up. Quick and efficient. The ceiling is no longer leaking. Thanks guys!

I contacted Paul to fit my fire, he came the very next day with his team of guys and fit the fire within a couple of hours. All regulations and tests carried out and necessary paperwork completed and explained. The guys were all very friendly yet professional they clearly enjoy their jobs. Very efficient, they completed the job and tidied up after themselves, I would definitely recommend them.

my boiler went over Christmas and had Paul came out to take a look and told me i needed a new boiler. Great service. Very prompt and reliable. We recently had carbon monoxide poisoning and many engineers seemed to be making excuses to duck out of being accountable for decisions made about the appliances. I had a leak from the waste under my bath. It was only a drip but needed fixing as it was affecting the timber in that area. I contacted Paul and sent him a photo of the problem. He was able to visit the next day and brought a replacement waste trap which was fitted within a few minutes. Overall, a very good service and I hope the problem is resolved for a long time.

Boilers never start leaking at a convenient time do they? So when I phoned Blaymires I really didn’t expect to get an engineer on my doorstep in such a short space of time. And he had the job sorted in no time at all, fitting a new part, and the whole job was very reasonably priced. Very friendly people from the start, and I would recommend them highly to anyone.

Paul & his team did a great job replacing my bathroom sink taps & shower lever tap. The water didn’t get very hot from new shower lever on installation & I wasn’t satisfied. They stayed thou till prob was fixed, in fact even more guys turned up at my house to assist. They figured out the problem was temperature control & now shower was red hot and am so pleased.

My old boiler packed in the other day and naturally this happens at the least opportune moment. Paul came out short notice and fitted a brilliant new one for me for £2000 less than British Gas's best quote and with a 10 year warranty . He's a friendly guy and did a brilliant job, I will certainly have the coffee pot on for him to service it in a year.

Paul has done a couple of jobs for me now, he fitted a towel radiator in my bathroom and replaced a push down bath plug that wouldn’t stay down. After emergency gas services shut off our gas, due to a leak behind the living room fireplace, Blaymires offered to come out same day, out of hours to cap and decommission. They came out ASAP, fixed 2 leaks, cleared an old wasp nest and other debris and were literal life-savers. Very reasonably priced and friendly. Thanks again guys!

Absolutely brilliant service I rang at 6.45am for my Mum as her bathroom ceiling was leaking & by 7.45am he had arrived, found the source of the problem & solved it for her by 8am. I needed a leaky pipe sorting near the hot water tank on my ageing central heating system. He came on a Sunday evening within 30 minutes, sorted that one out, had a good inspection and found some other issues which were in need of fixing as well. All done and dusted, not been an issue since.

Came to help me out with low pressure late at night and at very short notice. Didn’t grumble about having to crawl under my floor boards to check for leaks and then had a good look round the boiler to see what was happening. And didn’t rip me off either - lovely guy, would highly recommend.

Phoned Paul on a Saturday afternoon as the water inlet hose was broken and water spaying everywhere, switched off at stopcock but no water available. Paul came out within 2 hours and replaced the hose. Good Price.

Fantastic service. I could not expect more quicker than this as the guys responded instantly and visited in 30 min. Sorted out the boiler issue within 20 mins. It was frozen condenser. Definitely recommend them.
