I met Stefan by chance whilst he was doing some work for my mum, and later found out he’d done some work for my sister a few weeks previous. He was professional, polite and friendly but even that doesn’t do him enough justice. The level of service he delivered was something a lot of businesses can learn from. The patience he showed my mum, and me when I turned up half way through, was refreshing. He took the time to explain everything that he was doing, the issues he found which was causing the problem and what he was doing to fix it. My mum has had a lot of bad experiences with trades people and the confidence and trust that he has installed in her again is priceless. As if that wasn’t enough, he went above and beyond his job to do a couple of extra things as he wasn’t willing to leave my mums house until she was satisfied. He is a shining example of how professionals in the trade should work and how to deliver a 5star service whilst taking pride in what you do. Not only will my family be contacting him for any plumbing and heating issues we have in the future, I would highly recommend everybody to call him to resolve any of their plumbing and heating issues. Woke to a very chilly house this week to find my central heating boiler had not come on, it was showing an ignition fail report. Having used Stefan almost 2 years ago with excellent results I called him again to find that he was unfortunately, but not unexpectedly, booked up. I rang a few other plumbers, leaving messages, and sat for several hours awaiting a response, trying to keep warm and contemplating a very chilly Christmas. I was therefore absolutely delighted to get a message from Stefan in the afternoon offering to call later that evening to look at my boiler. I did not care how late the visit was. He finally arrived after 9pm, following completion of another complex repair, and set to work. Despite his best efforts by 11pm it was clear the boiler was going to need a new fan before it would fire again. Stefan was supposed to be on leave the following day but said he would source the parts and return next day to fix it. He duly did just that, and gave the boiler a full service at the same time, finishing past 8pm. I am once again warm and comfy and delighted to once again thank him for acting above and beyond. Another well deserved 5 star performance.

On the one day it snowed heavy and everything came to a stand still our boiler decided to break - a leak with loss of pressure. I rang around trying to find a plumber but no one could make it out due to snow or were wanting to charge an excessive call out fee. I spoke to Stefan on the phone and he immediately knew what the problem could be. A common fault with our make of boiler. He said he would wait a few hours for the roads to clear... which they never did... he tried to get out in his van... but couldn’t get out of his street due the snow/ice... so he rang me and said he would jog to my house... yes jog in the freezing cold snow covered roads... a scene out of Rambo springs to mind... Stefan came, investigated the leak, showed me what he was doing every step of the way, explained the issue and had the replacement new part in his back pack! All fixed and in working order after a few hours... Calm, professional, knowledgeable and a great guy! Would definitely recommend to others.

When I had water from the flat above streaming down 3 walls in my lounge and bathroom, my insurers sent an emergency plumber. when he arrived four hours later, he was unable to find the upstairs leak and left, with water still pouring down the walls! Fortunately, I found SFR on Google, read their excellent reviews and contacted Stefan. He examined where the water was coming through the ceilings, we went into the bathroom of the upstairs flat and, using his experience and expertise, found the leak immediately (literally 20 seconds !) The actual repair obviously took rather longer, but was perfect--leak fixed--job done! I cannot speak too highly of Stefan...friendly, helpful and efficient. He's already booked to service my boiler and move a gas oven.

I contacted Stefan late Saturday night after my boiler decided to stop working. Stefan answered my call out of hours, asked for images/videos of the issue, and came round first thing this morning (Sunday) to successfully fix it. Really happy with his responsiveness, and that he managed to fix it, and am asking him to quote up on some additional plumbing work in the kitchen. Also, being a woman in the house solo I felt super comfortable - which, having had some dodgy contractors in the past - is so important. Friendly, professional, would recommend. Nice to support an independent too, rather than a national business that just sends anyone round.

Stefan was about to finish his day but came to me within 20 mins of our phone call as I was very distressed (he new what the issue was straight away) due to my water pressure being way to high and water leaking from boiler. If I could give 10 stars I would for sure! Highly deserved - Once located the leak he showed me what he was doing every step of the way and had it fixed within 15 mins and it now works perfectly! I now feel at ease knowing this guys sorted the issue and assured me it’s all safe as I was very stressed because of it. Stefan is professional, calm, knowledgeable and a great guy! I called about a badly leaking kitchen mixer tap which urgently needed replacing.. Stefan was round within the hour to look at it. Quoted me for a new mixer tap plus isolation valves which I requested, and which I accepted. He did the job immediately, fitting a new tap plus isolation valves plus reconfiguring the existing pipe work. He also showed me how the hot water system worked. The old parts were disposed of and the site was left clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Stefan and would definitely use his services again. Had spent ages ringing round to find a plumber who could come on a Saturday when I woke to find my Central Heating had gone wrong and the house was freezing. I rang Stefan based on his excellent reviews and was not disappointed. He was able to come within hours (he was on another job) and diagnosed and fixed my boiler fault within an hour. He was a pleasure to deal with, double checked everything, and left the place spotless. I've arranged that he will come back to give the boiler a full service and replace the troublesome valve to ensure it doesn't jam again. I can thoroughly recommend him.

Called SFR plumbing and heating as our boiler had developed quite a bad leak and we were without heating or hot water which isnt ideal with a 14 month old! Stefan was polite, reassuring and professional on the phone and actually rearranged other commitments to attend the same day. I needed a new thermostat for my boiler. I contacted Stefan after spotting his advert in a local magazine. He explained what I needed and how much it would cost. Rang Stefan Sunday lunchtime about water dripping from boiler, he diagnosed the problem immediately to me and by Monday afternoon the problem was solved and boiler working perfectly again. Can’t fault the high level of service and efficiency he gave us. Also really friendly so I would recommend him to anyone who has any sort of plumbing problem.

Stefan came at short notice on a cold wet night, when we really needed someone to fix the heating. Very pleased with his work, attitude and manner, explained everything, great in all aspects. Turned up late, charged an emergency call out when it was booked for a few days time. Told me I had a leak, yes I know I told you that. Informed me parts need to be ordered, subsequently nothing heard in over 4 weeks. Bathroom out of action. Only went with him due to all the good reviews across multiple platforms. Lesson learnt.
