On Wed 27 Sept, after much frustration that none of the local Bendigo plumbers could ever identify the reason why just the middle section of my paved area running along my house wall was always damp. I had tried all the usual things to try to help identify the cause ie dye in the water; reading the water meter Fri night before the weekend away, only to return Sun night to find the meter reading was unchanged. The sewerage system had been checked. One plumber had tentatively suggested it might be ground water, but never advanced anything further like: how you assess this possibility . So l went back to FINDLEAK - a metro based service which l'd had here once before to solve a leaking ensuite ceiling that again, none of the local plumbers could identify. On that occasion it took Oliver 90 minutes to resolve, take photos and produce a written report with recommendations on suitable repairs. Solved! This time Rehara from FINDLEAK arrived , spent time checking everything all the local plumbers had checked, using his specialised equipment which none of the local plumbers seem to have. Ruled out anything to do with the house . Identified that it was indeed ground water, provided photos , wrote a report, did a diagram about where the underground ag pipes should be laid to collect the ground water and redirect into stormwater pipes and gotten rid of. The service was professional, no time wasted, he was diligent and covered every possibility in his investigations. Courteous and friendly. Again for the second time in my life, l could not more highly recommend FINDLEAK to friends family neighbours and the community generally! TOP MARKS and thankyou Rehara.

Hired them for a leak detection at my property (via my plumber) and was unable to find leaks within my property. First attendance was pinpointing on a location under a yucca tree based on their nitrogen test finding, i spent money on a plumber to dig up the tree and found no leak. Then requested a 2nd attendance only for the specialist to point to another area under my verandah complete opposite to the initial finding. At this point you should question their method of using Nitrogen gas and sensor if they were unable to find anything, why was it that I was required to pay full price with no specific finding of any leaks with various results between the 1st and 2nd attendance? Totally would not recommend. When their job to find a leak (hence their name) but asking for someone to pay full price when there isn't really conclusive results is just non-sense. Nearly all negative reviews below come with a response from the owner saying that its coming from a competitors' client. But i can assure you the invoice that i received contains the same ABN and company logo. Negative reviews on google maps always responded with "sorry we cannot find you on our database/we take defamation seriously" however: I have also checked the ABN on the invoice is the same. I have also tried calling your number and mentioned this but never received a callback. I have sent an email to them but they went completely silent.

I used their services for leak detection, they charge me for an incorrect detection, did not share any report with me and forced me to use their plumber. I paid their plumber, and obviously the issue was not fixed. I was in contact for more than 6 months with them, but they did not fix the issue. In the last text, for a roof leakage, the owner mentioned it was bacuse of Non-compliant slab and maybe earthquke. Can you believe that? Never use them at all for any services as they will rip you off. After receiving their reply to my review: I wish you mentioned about why you did not share the report and the photos with me, why you forced me to use your plumbers only, why I should pay you for your leak detection service with your guarantee, if I should pay various plumbers to do a trial and error, why you did not come back to fix the issues, and why you did not respond my text messages and phone calls. This is the point, why your potential clients who are reading this review should use your service if you take no responsibility of yoru serviice and your affiliate plumbers.

The shirt says they find leaks that plumbers can't find... and thats absolutely true. After about 6 or 7 different leaks in a newly purchased house were detected and fixed by a mix of myself and plumbers over 4 months, we still had two stubborn leaks that only showed themselves after 4 hours of heavy rain. I ran out of possible sources for the leak that made sense. The guys showed up quickly and early, had great equipment including dyes and thermal cameras and within a reasonable time, solved both mysteries. And they were tough. I did heaps of hose testing myself and couldn't get water through but these guys could explain the flow of water and reproduce the leak within minutes , demonstrating they cracked the code and it was not where I or other plumbers expected it to be. Very very fairly priced and they have expensive equipment as well as working in pairs. Very highly recommended if you have stubborn leaks that need some great "detectives". Bit of an art and science to this.

I cannot speak more highly of this company. Our near new townhouse has had water leaks for nearly two years, and our builders have not been able to identify the sources. This has caused a lot of stress every time it has rained. Daniel from 1300 FINDLEAK was incredible. He identified two leak sources, and several potential future sources to rectified. He was so friendly and professional, and was extremely knowledgeable. I did not realise the level of specialised knowledge required in this area to do a great job, but we were so impressed. He arrived early and was good with letting me know there was no water located in some of the areas I showed him, but he put the camera away too soon as there were a few other areas I wanted checked. Also in the report it says no leaks/water found when there was water in the roof upstairs. I sent them an email asking to amend the report as my plumber is waiting for the report. I called a few times and text with no response or update. He did a temporary fix near the flu which I appreciated. Also trying to see the photos posted I found extremely difficult. I felt the Invoice was a bit heavy : Debt Recovery Costs and the Disclaimer made me feel dishonest, I feel it doesn't need to be that heavy.

Highly Recommend this company and service. To start, the website was informative, it was really easy to book through their calendar system and they had plenty of appointments that give customers flexibility with their time. Michael the technician showed up exactly on time and even communicated on his way to the house to keep me updated. He was very knowledgeable and had some cool equipment, a thermal imaging camera and a digital moisture tester to go through the entire house and give peace of mind. I engaged with 1300 Find Leak when I had a roof leak. The technician was professional and found the leak but it then took a week and a half to receive the written information of where the leak was to pass to a tradesperson to fix and when I received it the photos sent were of another property. It’s two weeks since the visit tomorrow and I still don’t have the correct photos and I still don’t have the referral from them of who could fix it which was promised at the appointment. When I followed up with their team they weren’t apologetic at all. Wouldn’t recommend.

Our plumber recommended leak detection and thermal imaging before any repair and regrouting was done, to make sure there were no under surface leaks. Daniel was very professional, explained eevrything, talked me through what he was doing and how it worked, and sent a summary report the next day with photos on Google photos (which took me a while to figure out how to download!). But we are now reassured that there are no invisible leaks or wall seepage, and we know what and where repairs need to be done to fix it properly. Well worth it for that reassurance.

This is a good review, I had a problem with a leak and called another leak detection expert….well wrong move pinpointed a spot near the pool under concrete so I hired a demo saw and Broke up the slab and dug it up: No leak, well what do I do now? I've had an excellent experience with 1300 Findleak. First I made an enquiry through their website, over a weekend, and they called me first thing Monday. They explained their services and costs for a visit. I received other quotes but decided to go ahead with them. On the day, they showed up on time. Detected the source of the leak in our bedroom with their infra-red system, coming from the roof. Went onto the roof and sealed the spot. All within an hour. Recommend to anyone.

Michael is an absolute legend at finding leaks. I've already used his services for several properties and he always finds exactly where the water is coming from. Leaks that not even my builder, plumber or roofer could figure out. He is very responsive, has excellent communication and is such a great guy to deal with. He just shows up on time and gets the job done. I can't recommend him enough even my builder and property manager use his services now.

Company is responsive , nice guy that showed up however a waste of $360. I have a leaking tiled roof, the conclusion after he got in the roof was advising me it was coming from an area which I already knew which I pointed out at the start. It was not pinpointed to a specific cause as I had hoped for . Conclusion was to call a roof plumber to lift and look under some tiles in the location which again I already knew -waste of time and money.

Job well done!! Mason was determined to find the source of a leaking water pipe. He used the necessary equipment to locate it in a difficult to get at spot inside a concrete slab. Mason then arranged for a plumber to immediately come and repair the pipe. He project managed the job from start to finish. So if you have a leaking pipe don’t go past these guys.

My Aunty had these guys around last week and the man was incredibly rude and was clearly just there for the money. He could not find the leak and still charged her full price.
