Mr & Mrs Tut are the kindest, most wholesome liquor store owners Calgary has been—and ever will be—blessed with. I grew up on 100 Canniff Place down the street from 2004-2011 and can remember their wonderful smiles and passionate attitudes as far back as when I was young and would come in for wine with my mom. As an adult after 2012, Mr and Mrs Tut still remembered me and always asked how my mom and uncle were doing. After I moved to the North, they still remembered me. I moved back to my home town in Ontario three summers ago but I have no doubt in my mind these two would never forget who I am and invite me in with smiles and open arms. This company, it’s employees and it’s owners are beloved within the Canyon Meadows community and will always be our number one spot to grab a pack of beers after a late shift at work. Not only is the customer service beyond exceptional, but the friendly, comforting atmosphere is inviting to all who step foot inside, whether they are just passing through, new to the community, or a local neighbour. I cannot express how much love myself and the rest of our community have for Mr & Mrs Tut with one simple google review. I can only hope that those who stumble upon this click away with a smile on their face and decide to pay these amazing people a visit. Re: Owner's response: AGLC rules are irrelevant in this case. You are not complying with Calgary's masking bylaw at all. "Calgary’s Temporary Face Coverings Bylaw, in effect August 1, 2020, requires people to wear face coverings in indoor public spaces. Under the bylaw, business operators or owners are required to display messaging in public entryways" Your business is not complying with the bylaw as you do not have the required sign posted an staff does not wear masks. Review: I have used this store for a while due to its proximity even though its beer selection is mostly limited to generic mainstream product. Otherwise their wine selection is OK. I was under the impression that the owners are nice people up until the mandatory mask bylaw took effect on August 1. They immediately put up a rather rude handwritten "mask off" sign which was later replaced by a printed "unmask for identification" sign. What they do not have, however, is the mandatory sign showing that all customers must wear masks and staff don't wear masks either. Looks like I'll just have a slightly longer walk to the next store up the street in the future.

Don't do anything financial with Surinder Tut. I helped him out with web design and basically he never paid for hosting and sold the company without telling me. Now I have to go through other owners just to get paid for my services. I considered Tut as a friend but do not trust this guy. When it comes to money he will stab you in the back. The reason why he gets bad reviews is because he isn't a good person. I called to settle up with Surinder Tut and he basically keeps hanging up on me. He wouldn't pay me for what he used. Deal with this person at your own risk. He is a dishonest person at best.

Would put zero stars. Absolutely overcharged. The price advertised is NOT what you will pay. When speaking to the owner regarding this we were told “you have to check online for accurate pricing, price on the shelves is not correct” - this is absolutely ridiculous and misleading. The owner is a liar and the employees just follow along with the lie. When we told the other customers in the store they immediately left. We have spoken to home owners in the area and they have the exact same complaints. Please do NOT shop here. They do NOT deserve your business.

Coming from the Hospitality industry, I have a passion for collecting wines. A friend of mine recommended me to go see their selection and I was surprised with the variety and selection they carry. To top off my experience, every recommendation made by the older gentleman (King Tut?) was great. I highly recommend visiting this store especially if you're a sommelier like me!

Very small selection and poor customer service. Dark and dirty. Edit: In response to the owners response, this is indeed intended for your store. Located at 1110 Canterbury Dr SW. You have incredibly rude staff and I can guarantee there is zero sanitation happening. Perhaps you should check on your family members/employees and ensure they are doing things properly.

This is a great family owned business. Owners are extremely friendly and their selection of different wines and alcohol is exceptional. I highly recommend this liquor store as they really value you for your business and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in.

The worst experience I’ve ever had. Over charge you and the prices online they won’t honour in store. Even the owner on the phone was rude. Don’t shop here go a block away by the husky way better experience there
