I really think Aldi need to reconsider their staffing. I was there last week 5 ppl in a queue and one register just closed. I was in a hurry so ask if another register could be opened. The store attendant said no there was only 2 of them in store and she had other things she needed to do. By this stage a small amount of space was cleared on the conveyor belt (but customers with full trolleys in line), she said there you go. There was also then another customer behind me so that still made 6. . Her attitude and reply made me quite annoyed. I am a loyal Aldi customer and appreciate the staffing issue wasn’t her doing. 2 attendants on a Thursday morning is ridiculous especially when they’re under pressure and don’t have great customer service skills. I said I thought customers would come first she replied there’s only 2 of us and I have other things I need to do. I was furious and under normal circumstances would have happily waited but the attitude! I later googled the issue to see if this was an ongoing problem with Aldi to find that it was. I feel for staff who as a rule are quite friendly. Later on Clearly the attendant was also annoyed as she walked into the staff only area and slammed the door, while I was being served.

Aldi is a good place for groceries and other items but through my own experiences you do need to check the items from what you put through the register to what your actually charged. Quite often quantity of a particular item has wrongly been charged always to the disadvantage of customer. Also an example the check out man out through the actually charge for a kilo of ginger instead of the actually weight. Got home noticed, had to go back and was credited the $22.00 difference. Ugg. Good place to shop. It be aware of items charged . Ugggg

Fruit and vegetables need much higher standard of quality control especially pre packaged fresh foods. I try to examine items before purchasing but packaging often prevents this. Recently a whole watermelon I purchased when opened same day was old and inedible . So called 'fresh' products appear to be kept too long in cold store, yet they are put out for sale regardless. Need more quality control at point of sale.

Aldi lilydale .not too busy today I let 3 people thro with less than me ,usually have good service ,but this morn a very rude young man..told me then to hurry up and move..I was just putting my purse away after spending over $150 ....... SERVICE he needs a few lessons !!!!!

It's an Aldi store, though register 1 apparently has a revolving door. Register 1 is open, register 1 is closing this was heard approximately 15 times in the hour I was there. It was a Friday afternoon. Just keep it open for heaven's sake Grrrr.

Aldi is very good value. I am not a fan of some of their products, but on the whole it is great. There fruit is good but I find their potatoes hard as anything. Good value packets of nuts. Staff are friendly & helpful.

Disgusted by their service. Smart mouth young boy on the registers publicly shaming customers for details I will not go into on here. Typical Lilydale service frankly, save a few dollars but sacrifice your dignity.

A great new look store. It was closed for a week and now it’s like a brand new store. I love the fresh fruit and veg as soon as you walk in, plus the new range of meat looks great.

Always a great place for your staple food shopping and to check out their special buys while you're there. I never know what tools and electronics I might find while I'm there.

Loved Aldi ! Things are organised well , not constantly changing items around u know where things are , the surprises are in the middle aisles! Good & different!!

Totally different to the previous layout doesn't appear to be so cluttered. Staff still friendly. Still need to slow down a bit at register.

Not much, went for specials yesterday and today,only to be told they maybe in next Wednesday or Saturday, don't know if can be bothered!!!!

I get lactose free milk & lunch box treats for myself and my grandkids ! And lately I've been able to get fresh Dragon fruit ! Very nice,

Watching a Staff member kick a 6 pack of chips along the floor then pick it up and put it on show....you had to see it to believe it....

Much more affordable then the biggger supermarkets, we get 99% of our shopping here, apart from specific things that Aldi doesnt sell

Lots of underground car parking that many people seem to miss so if the outdoors is near full just avoid the mess and go underground

I have had to take 2 different items back and both times the managers have gone above and beyond and fixed the problems.

Good aldi with well priced goods and groceries easy parking underneath and out front. Remember to bring a gold coin

Cheaper than other Super markets but does not carry a complete range of product lines. Try getting Lamb mince.
