I was pretty disappointed at the level of service provided by one of their home loan advisers, Shaurav S. Personally coming from a banking background and customer service in a retail branch myself, I was astonished by how unclear and jargonistic he was to us as customers. When his computer froze, he was unable to show us calculations yet he continued to talk about the numbers. When I asked if he could help us understand better by writing a few numbers on paper he refused and told us we could write it down ourselves which I thought was rude. Despite leaving with more questions than answers, I came out of that consultation disappointed not so much with the outcome but how that consultation was handled. Average review from me, giving them the benefit of the doubt with 3 stars.

I tried to close my account online but it was not possible so there were options i.e. to go to the branch or call the customer service ( procedures prompted online). I opted to visit the branch because of call being cut off due to high volume so I woke up early from night shift and walk for 15 minutes just to get into the branch before closing time. It’s just around 3pm and queued for few minutes and there was a staff from the ANZ with a bludging face told me off to just do it online because it’s already late and that everyone was also busy. That they can’t do it in the ‘teller’ and they have to ring the customer service also. So, all my efforts were wasted. Visiting a branch shouldn’t be an option to help. It’s a headache. Thanks ANZ Blacktown for your help (sarcasm).

My experience with this bank as of yesterday, 18th May 2022 was terrible. No more tellers, 2 out of 3 machines is out of service, two staff allocated to handle general inquiries for almost a dozen customers waiting upto the sidewalk outside the branch. Filled out a dispute form knowing that my issue will be resolve overnight but nothing happened. Haven't receive any updates or calls from the staff as promised. I think I will be closing my account and open somewhere else if they don't provide better customer service. Not recommending Main St Blacktown branch at this time.

Very bad customer service especially the supervisor Tanya was not very helpful enough and we think they are choosing customers to help with. When they knew we’re about to leave with dissatisfaction, they then offered help, we’ll, too late. ANZ stop inviting customers to top up loan if you can’t even have your staff members accomodate them. So if you want to make transactions with loans and others DON’T go to this branch!

Amazing staff members specially thank you shailesh who attending me and I don't have appointment but he still try to help me out in closing time. He arrange anna to help me in my opening account. I really appreciate shailesh and Anna who do their best above the limit. I never had this type of experience with commbank. I definitely recommend ANZ BLACKTOWN. Shailesh you are the amazing. Keep it up mate.

Absolute joke. The last 2 times ive been in here i had 3 month bank statements printed without an issue. Now they can't print statements for me? The lady completely ignored me when i said "i have been through tha app and the websight. I DOESN'T WORK. I need a 3 mth statement." So she bought me an intrum statement which is useless to me and went straight in the bin. Think its time to change banks

Worst customer service ever. Staff have no knowledge of what they are doing. One staff made a giant mistake in my credit card application which i made through the bank. I was promised the issue have been rectified, I recently called the bank to confirm and they have informed me the issue still haven’t been resolved. I never had such worst experience before in Australia.

Moira was very helpful with setting up a new account today, she went through it all with me and catered to my situation perfectly. Her professionalism was superb, especially when dealing with some rather difficult customers that were before me. Never did I feel talked down to due to any lack of knowledge, and I will definitely be consulting her if needed in the future.

The most unhelpful customer service I have ever received. Rude and unreliability I've ordered a card 5 times and I'm yet to receive it ... got a call from anz to collect it when I went into the branch for collection the card wasn't there, my card was lost at the branch , the very next day my card number was scammed... don't know what to think of them anymore!

The worst branch I have ever been to. The Manager or Customer Service Representative or whoever he is has really poor management skills and bad attitude. The line is out the door and yet they are not under staffed It took me 35 mins to see a tellor with angry screaming customers behind me absolutely crazy. Don't ever go to blacktown branch!

The manager at this branch named Rod is the most informed, helpful and friendly banker i have had the pleasure of dealing with for ..well ever. David Smith (Advance Bank, st George and now management at westpac was great but only an equal with Rod.) Rod understands my somewhat complex needs, and makes it happen with a minimum of fuss.

The worlds worst ANZ branch to go to. Very bad customer service from most. I will never be attending this branch ever again and will close all my bank accounts from ANZ. I was thinking of getting a home loan from ANZ but NEVER WILL I MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN. I WILL also encourage all my family and friends to do the same!!!!!

Worse customer service ever. Went there today and lady with a curly long hair was so unhelpful and didn't want to know. No smile on a face ,just rude attitude. it's a shame that's in Australia you can receive service like that. Wrong people in a wrong job. Avoid this brunch if you can

One of the worst branch. Staff is rude and service too poor. You need to go to branch on day 1 to make appointment and then need to go next day for work even if it is little work of 2 minutes…NAB is the best bank for all kind of bank services

Prefer to go to the Seven Hills branch when I need to - though not much need to go into a branch these days. The location of the ANZ is terrible - not sure why they don't move into Westpoint or go closer towards the station like Westpac did.

Very rude and insulting. I went to next anz branch and problem were solved right away. Blacktown branch made me to take an appointment and wait till next week. First time ever I experienced this in any bank.

They close between 1pm and 2pm without any notice. Google listing says they are open. No apology. Wasted 20 mins driving to attend the only branch in the area.

Absolutely redicilous! Every time I come here there is only 2 tellers open and they are very slow! Take 30 min out of your schedule to do a deposit. Redicilous
