The online banking systems says I need to visit my local branch if I would like to close one of account. I live 500m away from this branch whihc is the only branch within 5km and yes I live in a COVID LGA of concern Blacktown while the branch is across the road in Rouse Hill/ Hills shire LGA. They refused to let me in the branch and said I have to visit another branch within my LGA even though the other branches area further away from my living address. The rule says I am allowed tp travel with 5km of my living area. Isn't it over acting on the government rules! Instead of explaining to me why I need to visit another branch the suggested which was outside of my 5km radius, I feel totally offended by the bank staff at the entry door as I was told I am not listening to them. He stood inside the branch and told me off very inappropriately that I have to leave. How about reading the rules properly as it says I am allowed to travel within 5km of my living address and this is the only branch I can go to! I felt the last thing is important for ANZ staff at this branch is to service me as customer. He told me I am not listening to him while he was standing inside the bank and closed the sliding door. What else they could do to offend me further. Is it appropriate to leave customer outside of branch and asking for their ID? Is it even appropriate to ask customers to customer to show their ID before entering the bank. The QR code designed to solve this. I am so offended of the staff behavior. Or, if ANZ wants to protect their customers from COVID risk, how about updating the bank account closing policy and let me to request to close my account online. Is it necessary to make your customer to come to a branch and then over acting inappropriately on the imposed rules? Very disappointing! I will be ending my personal banking with ANZ credit to Rouse Hill branch.

I am an authorized essential worker. I live and work within 5km of this branch. (Though on the wrong side of Windsor road for this branches liking). I spoke with NSW Health who have confirmed I am able to visit this branch if required for personal banking, or banking needs associated with my authorized essential work I attended this branch 2 weeks ago and before I could even speak, I was told to leave I would not be served. I advised the above items to the staff however was told I must attend a branch 10+ km from home (technically a breach of the public health order given this branch is my closest and within 5km of my house and authorized/essential workplace so I am required to attend here). Staff discussed with the branch manager and I was told that I wouldn’t be served as it was branch policy to not serve persons with a 27xx post code, even if they lived within 5km, and irrespective of whether they are entitled to visit this store per the health orders. We all appreciate the anxiety businesses fee with covid, but this isn’t a bank I will bank with again after this display. I will be ending my personal banking with this bank thanks to ANZ rouse hill.

This post is not directly related to service at the Branch but covers failures in the process of a valued,long term Bank customer (over 50 years) trying to make an appointment to speak to someone in the in Branch Words cannot describe my experience in trying to book an appointment with this Branch 4 days ahead of when I wanted it. Can't ring branch! Have to ring a general number which goes to an off -shore point. That point has great difficulty working out whether Branch exists and where it is. Spend 25 minutes on phone carefully walking the girl on the other end of the phone through details before she finally finds it. I then go on hold for ten more minutes before she comes back and tells me that their appointment booking module is off -line and she will have to ring me back. Tell her not to bother as I will go into Branch and book it there. The people working in the Branch are a good lot and try hard but they are understaffed and under-trained. As a retired Senior Officer of this Bank with 47 years service,it makes me very sad and angry to see the decline in customer service has now become chronic .

I just deposited money there at that branch and I told the teller the amount of money I am going to deposit but told her double check the amount of money as I was not sure how much.She took this as an advantage and lied to me the total amount is 5.5 k which should me 5550 I saw her putting $50 near her desk not where the rest of my money was there in the machine I confirmed with my husband it was $5550 and I went to that lady and told her about this.She said that $60was rejected in the counting machine so she put on the side.I saw her out of $60 she put the $10 on thr counting machine and she put $50 asides in other desk’.My question now is why she put $10 in the counting machine and not $50 .When I ask her she lied to me as it was rejected she didn’t even try for second time whereas she tried with $10.The last teller was aged with blonde hair.Be careful with this branch.I may take this case further but too many people behind me waiting so I didn’t wanted to create drama.

I am agree with other 1 star reviews regarding LGA restrictions, 5 km. Rule etc. Any level of staff including branch manager are so rude and do not know how to behave to customers. I visited branch a month ago , they did not let me to enter the branch because I live in Schofields which is in Blacktown council , that's the reason I had to wait outside the branch until branch manager came and listened me, then replied in 10 seconds and said go another branch, do not come here. ** That is the worst of the worst **. ANZ should assign auditors to check what is going on there, what tellers are doing. Please train your staff to be polite, smile, do not be abusive, customer comes first, etc. Another issue that i remembered, ANZ tellers sometimes ask ID sometimes not when I withdraw money , it depends on what teller feels on that day, No standards. I am asking myself how come I have been worked with this bank for personal and business banking since 2008.

I wish I could give zero stars instead. Wanted to deposit money in my card, I did not want to use the ATM because for some reason it doesn’t read it properly. I asked the person who works at the front she said yes that’s fine you can go to the teller. The teller was the most rudest and aggressive employee, in front of everyone she was raising my voice at me and saying it’s best for my convince and everyone else’s use the atm next time when I told her my problem she still didn’t call I was very angry and embarrassed I was waiting in line for 20mins patiently to end up being embarrassed by everyone. I would never be coming back I really wished I got her name I wanted to leave straight away she was an Indian lady with an eye patch

Not surprised to see this funny low reviews, only one star for this unsecured, impolite, irresponsible branch. No wonder the thief stole my card and come to this branch to take money, because this branch is not supporting victim at all ANZ send me a new bank card without me knowing they are doing this, and the thief knows! And the thief can activate the funny bank card and take money twice from this branch ATM!!! Sitting here waiting for no response and no manager is coming for this matter. This bank is so nice to thief, not good for normal customer. Keep your money away from this bank. We work so hard to get money, this bank is helping thief to stole money from our bank account.

The worst customer service I have ever witnessed! Lined up to make a cash deposit and waited in line for 20 minutes (which is fine as they were busy). When I get to the counter the lady rudely said the teller is now closed and proceeded to walk off and shut the desk. No locked doors, no one to advise that you will not be served as we are closing after this customer, no sign blocking the line. I’ve been using ANZ for over 20 years and have multiple business accounts, personal accounts and home and invest properties mortgages through them, if that is the service a loyal customer gets, I am definitely taking my business elsewhere.

I have been using this branch for a long time . Warren and his team are very helpful always and we have had very good experience so far . Today we met a lovely well spoken staff assisting us as well. The staff behind the counter were 2 very polite young gentlemen . I would recommend this branch . There can be a little wait time but much better to wait and be served courteously , professionally and with correct information . I dont generally write reviews but its important to acknowledge good customer service as its a rare commodity now !

Norwest, Bad! Rouse Hill, Worse!! Mt Druitt, Worst!!! Well done ANZ. Customer service? Shame. Digital ways to bank "to help" customer?? Nonsence. Even Branch Manager is showing no interest on customer's business. If my issue can be solved "online", I wouldn't make that trip to be down there. Customers are not there to bother staffs over a- you called simple- transaction, they are there to get an assistence. District Manager need to attend "problems" on your area urgently. What is going on your area?

Not a fan of their personal loan service. First visit they made me wait 25 min (after I had made an appointment) then messed up my expenses statements. Then I made a second appointment. Same person, friendly enough but managed to mess up my assets this time. Also didn’t attach the correct documents. So 24 hours later got a call to call back. Called back 8 times, left messages. No reply. Walked into branch to be informed that the need docs I could’ve given day before. Waste of time

Worst customer service I ever seen. Iwalked in there to book an appointment for my home loan for next day ,they said no appointment available . I called customer care they said few spots available ,I still went ahead and booked appointment with same branch and the day I reached there few mins late and they told me that bcoz I am few minutes late they can't accommodate me as the slot was given to someone else ,where as I had the appointment for 60 minutes .

Worst customer service ever. Came on Tue, asked me to make appointment. Appointment made on a Thursday. I came in at 10:30 for 10:40 appontment. Queue for 10mins just to tell someone that I am here. Then waited for another 15mins and no one tell us if they are running late or anything. It is 11am now and still no one attend to us. What is the point of making appointment here? I don't get it.

The staff is really good at wasting your time without producing any results, Have been trying to close a credit account for months , only to get a text at the end of the month that he has another minimum payment. Staff has no idea what they doing And they rely on help over the phone and yet no patience in dealing with phone services Lost tempered because she couldn’t deal with the situation

The worst customer service I have ever experienced in a bank. 0 stars. The branch manager is invisible and staff have very poor communication resulting in customers waiting long without knowing if they will ever be attended to. I wanted to give feedback and was told "just tell head office". Sad that this is my local branch but happy to drive the extra distance just to avoid this place.

Worst customer service from an ANZ branch I have had. 1st time I brushed it off but to hav a bad experience the next two times, I am done using this branch. Not only will they not listen and communicate with you trying to do business and use their service as a customer. But when you try and give the advice to improve their rating and customer service they still will not listen to you.

Terrible bank, terrible service. Wife deposited money in the ATM and it took it, and didn’t provide a reason not to give it back, no receipt or didn’t give it back (lucky only took a $20 note) said will take weeks for a response. The opening and closing times are a joke, for someone that works in the city you guys close at 4?? What kind of joke is that, 9-4? People finish after 5pm.

I went to the branch today to let the young guy in branch know that he made a mistake and used my old married name and they send me a wrong debit card. He confidently said he was aware of mistake and called me few times and left a message. I did not receive any voice message and he did not even apologize for inconvenience . Called at my local branch today, Rouse Hill, to withdraw cash for Christmas presents and cash to tide me over the Christmas break… Only to find it closes at 1:30…you’ve got to be joking..busiest shopping day of the year and you’re closed??? To top it off the ATM was out of order. Who ever thought of this should tarred and feathered, stuff the customers..let’s close and get pissed.

Went there on 6-5-22 Friday afternoon to open new bank accounts for my parents with all documents but staff was lack of knowledge said to me they don't have staff and said open online than come to branch again to verify documents.The lady very lazy and not helpful . Thanks to st George next door they open bank accounts on same day for us and offer free coffee.

I have nothing but good things to say about ANZ Rouse Hill. I have been dealing with them for years and i have always had a good experience. I must make special mention of Rohini Bhagat. Her attention and memory is second to none and she ALWAYS follows up(i hate when i call or leave a message and never get returned calls). its a big thumbs up from me !!

Worst experience, visited branch to open account for my 13 year old, they asked me to book appointment prior to visit. I booked appointment n visited them. Now 2/3 after 8 weeks they did not open account or no information.. very disappointing.. I got personal account, credit card, company account - I’m closing all the account once for all

I ordered a travel card online and had to pick it up from here. I was assured everything was set up and ready to go. I arrived in the US on a Friday to discover my card was NOT set up and had to borrow money from friends until Monday when the bank we open and spend half an hour on an international phone call to get the card operational.

!!*THE WORST*!! 18th Jan 11:45am - The lady that greets you in the entrance, she was exremely rude to my wife and had such a bad attitude just because we asked a few questions about verifying an ID. By far the worst experience in a bank! So much for valuing your clients ANZ, this branch desperately needs better staff!!

My account was locked for more than three days, and I made several calls, but I have yet to hear back from anyone. I went to two branches; the Parramatta Westfield branch doesn't even bother honouring appointments but gave me a complaint booklet to send my complaint. The Rouse Hill branch needs to answer the phone.

The most useless branch to exist. Never enough staff members. Only one teller open from 9:30am to 2pm which is completely useless to 90% of their customers. Minimum 20 minute wait for anything. Staff don’t know how to do basic banking functions. How you continue to run this as a functioning service is astounding

Good experience overall. The staff member who dealt with me was courteous (though not as friendly as I would have expected). Main purpose of visit was that I ordered some foreign cash to be collected there. Their system of storing foreign exchange needs to be improved as there's a while of delay.

I was drawn to this bank because they are th first to accept apple pay and I wanted a fast and easy way to pay wit my phone etc. well technology wise I think that are the worst of the big 4 banks. Quick to blame my email provider and after three months fixed email issue at their end.

All the employees are running around like headless chickens. It’s like they have no experience or simply they don’t care. Went there few weeks ago and they decided to close at 2pm. When I asked them about their trading hours she said we open 9-2. This bank deserves no star at all!
