We will not be bringing our dog back to this vet practice & strongly don't recommend anyone attend this practice. If I could give zero rating I would!! Vet Barbara is extremely rude, abrasive & as soon as you enquire about any pricing her whole attitude gets worse! Especially if you refuse to sign up to zip pay for unexpected high vet costs (which she attempted to bully me into signing up for it) Vet Barbara also started procedures / testing prior to discussing costs or seeking permission from me (ear swabs & slides, eye stain testing) The procedures she did prior to seeking permission were all conveniently expensive & just thrown in my bill without her ever informing me that there were costs involved for doing them & was I in a position to afford them? Prices at this practice are very expensive, much higher than other practices & the consultations are alot shorter / rushed. Post procedure we thanked the reception staff very much as they were lovely & we thanked Vet Barbara as she was sitting at the desk too & we were being polite. The reception staff responded in a positive manner. However Vet Barbara sat there & glared at me without responding! It's nice to know if you enquire about pricing for procedures, you will be treated like dirt & looked down upon. We will never bring our dog or any animal back to this vet even if it was free of charge! We have found another amazing practice & vet who are affordable, knowledgeable & polite. We ended up spending $1049, pricing is very over priced in what service / care that was given. So many hidden / additional charges added! especially when the practice saw our Vet Pay limit was $2000 & never used any of it before. They added as many additional costs as they could to utilise the available funds. One crazy charge in our bill was over $90 for a bag of saline fluids (salt water) Antibiotics over $80! just to name a couple of items ... Be warned, if there is additional costs or procedures? Vet Barbara will find a way to charge you for them. It's time Vet Barbara takes a long hard look at her consultation manner & the practice at its excessive pricing. We will never trust you with our pets again!

I am absolutely disgusted in my time with you & your "practice". I have a 6 yr old Jack Russell who has been mis-diagnosed time and time again by your establishment and so called "Vets" - I have spent thousands on an inconclusive "Cushings disease" possibility - yet you needed more tests - and want more money, without even finding the following diagnosis! I then take Digby to a new Vet and she immediately tells me of a heart murmur which turns out to be "Moderately Severe Degenerative Valve Disease" of which should have been diagnosed and treated when under your care. Now his condition is inoperable/treatable, due to the late diagnosis and cardiologist report enclosed- (Of which we paid good money also!) He is given 1-2 years at best! And now under the medication he needs - at long last! Your care of Digby has been none other than malpractice! And I will forward this to the relevant authorities. We spend our money to do the right thing by our furry family friends - in TRUST that you do the right thing by them and us humans! - yet you continue to try and get false or no results. If you're that busy NOT to care for our pets in the appropriate way - give it up as your job is to save lives! Sincerely Disgusted and Bewildered!

Not happy with the experience. I took my new puppy here last month, for her vaccinations. My breeder recommended we see Barbara. I had booked in to see Barbara 2 weeks in advance. A couple of hours before my apt I got a call advising Barbara was no longer available and I had to see another vet or change my day. Being right before Christmas I could not afford to change my dates and had already taken off time out of my work day to book in Barbara to have it changed last minute on me with no explanation. I was not happy. Additionally, I was served in the waiting room for my entire consult with my puppy in my hands trying to talk to the vet. My puppy was so distressed in my arms as she was scared of the other dogs around her and I could not speak to the vet properly. I did see there was empty consult rooms and the vet had not offered to take us in there despite seeing how much distress my 8 week old puppy was in. I have had 2 other dogs and been to other vets and never had this poor type of service provided. Not happy with the service, not recommended!

Overall, the staff are friendly and my dog gets looked after. But the prices are rather elevated and the service is adequate, you essentially only get what you are after and there is no above and beyond at this vet. Best to call up first and get an appointment time as they prefer bookings over just turning up and waiting. The vet facility is clean and tidy and the vets seem knowledgeable in their treatments. If you are after teeth cleaning for your dog or cat, they are rather expensive and I recommend looking elsewhere, as the prices are double to what we got quoted elsewhere. There are only 6 parking spots, but there is usually a spot available during weekdays. Overall I give this vet a 3 star, as like I wrote earlier their service is adequate and so are the facilities. Close and convenient

I am so upset!! I paid to have my dog microchipped and my dog has run away 3 months later, I thought I had peace of mind knowing he's been microchipped only to be told that he has a microchip but no details have been uploaded onto the chip so it's useless!! I never received a passport for him so I can't even try and register him to my profile, when I called them they said 'it's weird the microchip details weren't uploaded i'm not sure what else I can do sorry'. We have moved state too so I can't even update his details. My poor dog is now 48 hours away from home and I can't do anything about it. Thanks for taking my money, hurting my dog to microchip him and not doing your job. Waste of money!!!!

Words cannot express my gratitude to the beautiful people at Vets @ Acacia Gardens. Their diagnostic skills and care are superior. From the time you walk in to reception, you are greeted with smiling and friendly people and there’s always someone in the waiting room to talk to, pat and get to know. Everything is explained before a procedure and the vets are amazing with their knowledge and diagnosing, so much so that my beautiful cat “Murphy” is now on the way to recovery, although there is a long way to go. I trust Vets and wonderful staff @ Acacia Gardens with the medical care of my family of pets. Thanks so much.

I can't praise vets at acacia gardens highly enough. Our silly puppy swallowed a whole ice cream stick and I was so scared I was going to lose her. Thanks to them we have our puppy running around and back to her old self. We took her in right before closing, the vets preformed surgery and stayed with her for a little while after she woke up. We received constant updates along the way, with daily updates after that. The fact that they stayed till passed 11 pm just shows how much they really do care for every animal that walks through there door. I can't imagine going any where else. Thank you.

Thank you to the staff and the veterinarian for you care and support as we put our Monty to sleep. You made us feel so comforted and reassured that we were making the right decision for him. You gave us time and allowed us to spend time with Monty without rushing us. There is a reason you are in the field you are in, and its absolutely perfect for you all. They are amazing. A friend referred me to them when I got my two kittens. I feel liked my little ones are so looked after when they are there. Due to the pandemic, pets need to be taken in without their owners, but they have been so caring. I hear them talking to the animals with such sincerity and it can be seen that they genuinely care for the animals. The cost is reasonable and I do not feel as though they are trying to take my money as everything is justified.

Our spoodle Monty developed lymphatic cancer and rapidly showed signs of weakness etc. The team were absolutely fantastic, Danny treated him as if Monty was his own and allowed us to ease him into a peaceful sleep. We were up in Sydney from Canberra so our grown kids could be there to say goodbye and while very sad, their staff were so kind and supportive. Thank you so much in a difficult time.

Omg, had appointment at 4 and waited till 4:30. Only needed nail clipping for my 10 mth old pup and that too they didn’t do it right. We took him to them for a reason cause they are vets and should know their job. His paw was bleeding and we had to take him back so they can put medicine on it so it would stop bleeding. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

I don't live in the area, though this Vetenary clinic was recommended to me. We had Dr Whitney look after our dog for afew dental extractions. She took such great care and was very knowledgeable and comforting toward my cavoodle. Friendly, kind staff all round, a clinic I highly recommend and would travel out of my way for. Happy patient and happy human :)

My wife and I unfortunately had to make the decision to put our 15 year old Pomeranian to sleep The team at Acacia Gardens were absolutely wonderful, we were treated with the utmost respect and care I hope we don't have to go back soon for obvious reasons but if we do, then it will be here. Thank you so much again for taking care of us when we needed it

We lost our 5 month old puppy at Stanhope Gardens shopping centre yesterday and one of the vets from acacia Gardens vet found him ... they took him to the hospital and checked his chip...found our address and phone number and returned our dog safe and sound to our house... 10 star service... thank you so much for finding him and bringing him back

Very professional and great service. I will say it's very expensive, but most veterinarians are as well. My cat was very sick. They did the appropriate tests and told me to come back in 2 days to get results. They actually called me with the results of her test the next day, saving me a trip. Lovely staff. Plenty of parking too.

Amazing team.. all very friendly and helpful. Booked my dog in today due to an allergic reaction to a vaccination he received at a different veterinarian and they fit him in and took great care of him. From taking my call today up to leaving the business they were very welcoming and hospitable. Can't recommend them enough.

They took care of our dog on short notice when he was down with kennel cough. We found the reception staff to be very empathetic and helpful. The Vet who took care of our dog, Dr Cobb-Clark, was really knowledgeable and kind. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a Vet.

Visited the place for my cat eye discharge problem. Happy with the quality of service. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming staff. Professional doctors who are patient and do the best for your pets. The only downside was that the doctor was running late and our appointment delayed for 20 min.

They are good, the only complaint I have with them is that they are too dear on their pricing. I took my sons dog in because he cut his foot open, he had minor surgery to fix it, and now with every bandage change, they charge money. It should be complimentary as it is after care.

Friendly staff, took care of my dog while she was alive. However, they suggest you take excessive and unnecessary treatment for your dog. They encouraged her to take potassium supplements (which were quite expensive) even though she was not having any problems with muscles.

My cat went in for a lion cut that was goin to cost $120 right went to pick up my cat disappointment my cat looks like a cross between a fox and a roadkill very disappointed even with instructions they couldn't get it right.... beware of this place very unprofessional.

One of the worst services I have received, had a dog grooming appointment and the dog hair cut was so bad being a Golden Retriever , a clipper was used , never recommend the vet with my today's experience as I am not sure as to who they employed as a Groomer.

I have requested to accommodate my dog Buddy as a matter of urgency without prior appointment. The staff was very kind and supportive and gave me a call back to walk in. That shows their commitment and true affection for our loved pets. Really appreciate it.

Have been bringing my beagle here for the past four years. Lovely clinic with friendly receptionists and knowledgeable vets. Recommend making an appointment during the week as weekends can be quiet busy with some waiting time.

So far Dr Barbara and Dr Jenna have been taking very good care of my puppies Strudel and Toffee. Both Strudel and Toffee are happy going to the vet and Dr Barbara helped solve her stomach and ear issues.

A good vet, you really are interested in you pet and it health. Fully equipped, good staf and easy to get to, they pay more attention to your pets health than many Dr do to your health.
