Saw Paul McCartney in concert in the second section on the floor. An amazing show, great sound and visuals from the greatest singer/songwriter of all time. The floor attention is open to the elements, but that didn't matter as we were seeing a Beatle in concert. Also, despite the seating, prepare to stand most of the time. An amazing night. Access to the stadium was easy, plenty of food options. A great night!
Great show put on by Paul McCartney. The venue was well prepared for the crowd. Plenty to eat and drink inside and out. One of my better experiences at Alliance Stadium. When is an international city like Sydney going to get more quality events at this stadium. 5 per year at present that's rubbish.
We saw the women’s World Cup Netherlands versus South Africa. Great experience and could you believe the tickets probably $40 each! Although I spent quite a bit more on the souvenirs. We chose to park about a 15 minute walk away from the stadium. Great opportunity to see world-class players.
great stadium, very well organized. good structure for food and drink, I had no trouble buying during the break. Very good service too. Enough bathroom. Access was made on foot from paddington neighborhood, very quiet. I have the impression that getting close by car is difficult.
Lots of easy entry/exit and transit to/from seating even when at capacity. Extremely high food and beverage pricing, but plenty of choice, so if there for a special night out, need to factor cost in. Sound quality dependent on location of seating. Optimal is far end 25%.
Easier to get to the place on the bus rather than the tram. Easier to leave the place on the tram rather than on the bus. The event finished at 11 PM, a bit of a walk to queue to the tram but it gets de-congested once arriving at Central.
Great stadium! New and modern. Food offerings are a bit expensive and not much better than standard football food however there are some things like Asian fried rice etc. Alliance stadium is also the home of the mighty Sydney FC!
Great venue with great sound. Really enjoyed watching a concert here. The stadium filled up nicely and was easy to enter and leave. The overall experience was great. I can't wait to go back for the rugby.
Great new stadium. Easy access from light rail. If you watch a football game, no need to pay for public transport. There are plenty of restaurants and toilets. There's also a prayer room at bays 35-36.
