"Great atmosphere and a real buzz if you are going with no kids"
"Great atmosphere in an old school stadium"
"Small stadium situated in the middle of a reresidential area, atmosphere is always great watching the footy on the hill, not enough toilet facilities as the line is always long but what do you expect with an average of 18000 people when its sold out"
"Is there anything better than big brand sport at a small local suburban stadium? I'll answer my rhetorical question for you all"
A local rugby ground that hosts some great union and league matches. Home to the Wests Tigers and NSW Waratahs. Parking can be challenging if you're late, beer lines are slow when packed, but many stadiums are! Public transport nearby. There's a sweet European lady who sells good old snag in a roll outside the gates. Worth it.
Great atmosphere and a real buzz if you are going with no kids. Food lines are long and often run out, beer lines even longer and toilets are horrible before half time has even started. Parking is a nightmare. But a unique experience that you have to do at least once
Great atmosphere in an old school stadium. Watched Sydney FC on a sunny afternoon - I was glad to be undercover in the shade. Getting there and out isn't the easiest - light rail is near by and there are busses, but not great. Food and drink options average.

Is there anything better than big brand sport at a small local suburban stadium? I'll answer my rhetorical question for you all. No. There's not. Particularly when the sky blues win and the Cove crash through the barriers (see my picture
Leichhardt Oval is the holy grail for experiencing a rugby league game! The atmosphere and mood at this venue are like a Roman coliseum. The combination of grandstands and the hill makes the viewing experience unique depending on where
Great little football ground, lots of seating both in stands and on the hill. Close to the action and good vision. Toilets were really good, plenty and clean. Easy to get to food and drinks. Parking was good too.
What a fantasic place to watch a game of football. Sunday afternoon on the hill is so much more than just a game of footy but a celebration of the fans and the history of the tiger.. and im a titans fan.
The PA never works. The toilets have no lights. The queue for beer is more like a scrum, and your kids will learn all sorts of new words on the hill. But where else would you want to watch football?
A traditional ground with great atmosphere that more than makes up for the lack of some of the modern amenities required. A very supportive environment but not all that good if your the away team :)
A Typical urban Footy ground two stands some seating around perimeter of playing ground, plenty of hill area. Food facilities basic Beverages beers a bit pricey as we're soft drinks.
Formula For a Great Day Out: Don't miss the chance to watch footy at this great little oval. Walk there along "The Bay walk" from Birkenhead end, or after dining at "The Rowers' " or
Parking is a nightmare. Facilities are shot. The seating is well below par. Still, there's no better place to watch football when the stadium is packed. And I'm a Saints supporter!
life guard had a racial profile and when we were cleaning the floor in the bathroom the staff came out and asked what we were doing. The family bathroom was dirty as hell
Great atmosphere to watch the football. Plenty of activities for the kids on game day. Good food. But the parking is one of the worst I've seen
An absolute gem of an old-school Australian sport experience. Bring a blanket, sit on the grass, have great food (not super pricey like some
One of the backbone sunburban grounds for NRL.Great atmosphere to watch the football with plenty of activities for the kids on game day.
Great visit whilst in Sydney , knowing of some of the great nrl players who’d played there made it a very nostalgic day out
Took the grandson to see Sydney FC ladies, while visiting from . Not been to the Oval before, but it gets my vote …
Open from Monday to Friday as a park. No easy to go with the pram but probably I didn't see the entrance. I will check
Great view of the match and close to the pitch. Long queues for drinks etc. but prices reasonable
