This gallery is keeping my art work hostage and won't release it unless I pay him an extortionate amount of money for "storage". The owner has threatened me with lawsuits if I tell people about his unethical practices. I am unfortunately not the only one who is in this position and there are more than 25 artists I know personally who have had their work stolen in this way by this gallery. You would not believe the horror stories! Young artists beware!

Art Eye staff are dynamic, friendly, well informed and hospitable. The space itself is ex- industrial and houses two very large gallery spaces, an events or admin space as well as a residency space for visiting artists. The building itself houses several studio spaces for artists and another gallery Room, which makes the destination more than a one stop visit.

This plek used to be lekker before I found out about how they steal work from artists. Such a shame! I went there and was treated badly by the owner, trying to push me to purchase something I didn't want. Need to question his tastes a lot and with all the stories going around about the unethical practices. Not lekker anymore!

Wonderful staff, the owner is friendly and welcoming. They have a beautiful collection of artworks. They are very patient and good at explaining each piece. I also love the space. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for great service and the best collection. It is value for money.

A fabulous gallery in a very unexpected industrial building in a historical part of the city. They develop artists and have an amazing broad selection of work - a must see and you will need time to enjoy........
