Been to this place many times over 15 years. Unfortunately this time I found out how dishonest they are. They had maples outside with the sign 1/2 price off the marked price but when we want to purchased however Barry refused to give us 1/2 price. when I point out to him about his sign he wrote an extra $100 on the the plant then look at us and sarcastically asked " are you happy now" . At that moments I feel disgusted and really disappointed. I was planning to go inside to purchase more plants but now refuse to give them anymore of my money. (sorry this review was for the Templestowe store)

Unlike many of the reviews I have a different opinion. I recently visited Aumanns, expecting to find the warehouse orchard fruit supplier like how it used to be. Big crates full of fresh fruit, in a warehouse rustic setting. Instead I found a yuppie supermarket, with no representation of the large quantities of apples, pears, and stoned fruit that I had came for. I realise that I haven't been there for a few years, and that the upmarket supermarket obviously generates more profit, but I left, disappointed.

Pies, danishes coffee are amazing. Fruit and veg are avarage, not value for money. Fresh food section is like is beautiful, very yummy!!!!, Lots of local produce which is great. But!!! Their out door eating area is disgusting needed a good clean. They were not even busy so there was no excuse. their toilet is putrid. There was dry urine on the floor, sprayed poo in the toilet bowl, l had to clean the toilet seat, yuck..the toilet hadn't been cleaned for a long time.

Can be a little pricey but you get what you paid for. Great quality plants. I have shopped there many times and will again. My only criticism is even when it's not busy it is difficult to find assistance. The person at the counter will point you in the right direction, however when you have questions about a plant as I said there often seems like your walking around hoping to stumble onto a staff member. Apart from that my experiences have been pleasant.

Like Aumanns overall but bought Box of Cherry chocolates for my husband which we duly took back as broken and liquid all over. Got a refund of $5 which is laughable. Generally under law you either replace or refund. This seems to be a NoNo, represented by staff and assistant manager when my husband mentioned it whilst buying similar new chocolates. . Also asking for cash slip in paperless world, surely Barcode on item tells the truth.

Great place to shop with a diverse range of products ranging from organic and non- organic, great delicatessen, emergency supplies, italian,greek, german, asian and many other culturally diverse products on hand at reasonably competitive prices, also a very nice little indoor/outdoor cafe, Open for business, come in and be pleasantly surprised, let them know your Google guide Peter K showed you the way.☕

Owned and operated by a local Italian family, there is a huge range of fresh local and organic foods, as well as an amazing variety of imported goods. The mind boggles trying to take it all in. One of the regular star attractions are local producers providing tastings of their products - yoghurts, cheeses, small goods, etc. Its a fair drive to get there, and prices are not cheap, but the quality is worth the visit and the price.

What a find, got given directions to their nursery but ended up here, glad we did. Top quality fruit and vegetables, and a huge deli, and groceries. Abit more expensive but the quality and range of products, you don't mind paying that little extra. The coffee shop is a must too, great coffee and good range of snacks available. Highly recommended. Found the nursery and that was very good too.

Normally I’ve had fantastic experiences at Aumann’s great range of continental food but this afternoon was disappointing. I wanted half a wheel of daffinois but was told at 4.30 it was too late to cut one and to come back tomorrow. That was disappointing and not something you would get with the more experienced staff. That and how expensive it has become make me think twice about coming back

It is a wonderful place to have coffee, breakfast, brunch and dinner. I like the cafe food especially a variety of burgers, cakes and different kinds of dessert. The cold pressed juices are also the signature drinks of this place. Besides the cafe, there is a stunning supermarket which sells fresh food and fruit. There is a section which offers organic fruit and vegetables too.

Been there once at 5:28 pm weekday after work to purchase some cured meats they refused service saying that slicers have been cleaned already and not wanting to cut me any at that time! Shop closes at 6pm! I went there just to get that! They should provide service until then right? Anyway I’m absolutely disappointed and never be back again! Staff have a really stinky attitude!

This is a good place to visit for a meal or coffee, and the range of items in the shop is interesting and different. The quality of fresh fruit and vegetables is excellent, including a good range of organic stock. The cheeses and smallgoods are fascinating. This is not a supermarket, but offers a range of foods which would make it worth a weekly visit.

Amazing shopping experience, like no other. The selection of some items eg. Cheeses, col meats, continental products, herbs and spices, pastas and continental sweets.......awesome. It's like stepping into an Italian sweet and savory Willy Wonka factory. And .......there are heaps of samples, plus a coffee shop and florist. What more could you ask for?

This place is a hidden gem. There is a great range of fabulous quality product all beautifully presented. The staff are very professional, friendly and obviously very happy to work there. They come across as proud and eager to help you when you need it. The owner/manager is hands on and often seen working the floor and happy to talk to customers.

Love this place. Pretty good selection of continental goods. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. They have a points system too so you get $10 off once you reach a certain amount of points. Situated on a magnificent view. Parking is good. The only problem is I always get overly excited and spend too much money!

The fresh fruit and veg, deli and baked goods are Devine and the service is excellent too. Not ideal for your weekly shop as it ends up being about double the price of your normal grocery restock at your local market or supermarket but ideal if you are making a pasta, need some inspiration or entertaining guests

Great selection of cheeses, meats, olives and fresh fruits and vegetables with quality pastas, dips, pies, terrine - you name it they have it for a gourmet supermarket. Also have a fresh flower store next door and a small cafe. Take your time and have a good look around as there are a lot of hidden gems!

First time visit since the renovation, very impressed with the changes. Great selection of food available and well set out. Like the variety and quality, have some items you do not see in a lot of places. Easy parking after a bit of a drive to get there but the drive itself is quite pleasant.

Disappointed having ordered a Chicken and salad focaccia cut in half which came on one plate with no extra plate as we were sharing. No serviettes, not warmed. Two iced coffees which were ordinary and the account $25.00. Supermarket next door prices ridiculous especially for fresh veg.

So disappointed in the produce Spent $56 on organic produce only to have to throw it out 36 hours later as the broccoli beans & cauliflower were rotten!! Wondered what the disgusting smell was coming from my fridge, soon traced it to the above items, NOT HAPPY. Wont bebsck …

Aumans has a great selection of food, vegetables and fruit. Terrific range of bith local and imported organic food. They have a terrific deli which serves fresh goods. Service is always excellent and staff always friendly. There is also a great cafe. A great place to shop.

Absolutely some of the best fresh produce around including top quality organic fruit and vegetable choices. There are many international ingredients to achieve many dishes, a small caffe and a lovely Deli full of beautiful cheeses, meats and deserts. Well worth a look.

Amazing supermarket with beautiful local produce, a huge range of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free products, fresh breads and meats galore plus some incredible hard to find imported products. Gets very busy so get in early. The coffee shop next door is also brilliant.

OK, but could be so much better. Mexican salad and Falafel were good but dry and needed more dressing. Perhaps give patrons the option of dressing in a small jug on the side. Good variety of cakes. Coffee great. However, someone needs to check toilets. Not nice!

Was well set out. So many varieties of food...not just your general run of the mill stuff. A lot of imported goods. The coffee was good also and the florist was full of inspirarion. Prices aren't necessarily cheap but the quality of produce is exceptional.

So so happy that we found this place!! Amazing deli and a great range of fresh fruit and vegetables. Also an extensive range of grocery products and to top it all off ... delicious coffee which you can enjoy while shopping. It’s now my goto place!!

Definitely different from the way it was, when it was.just an orchard. Now its more like a very upmarket mini supermarket. Cafe attached, florist, fresh fruit & veg, the bonus is an exceptional deli with imported cheese you cant find anywhere else.

Stumbled in here looking for coffee (which is next door), walked out with delicious sparkling juice, snacks and a happy heart. This is a gorgeous little supermarket that you have to visit to understand it's magic.

Aumanns is a great grocery store, it is upmarket and sells lots of organic foods, they may be costly but they are worth it for cooking or maybe a snack overall i recommend Aumanns if you want to get quality food

My wife and I last went here years ago, when it wasn't that great, but now it is really good. Clean, bright, large, loads of fresh produce, coffee, friendly team members. Will definitely be going again.

I tried 2 times so far to get to the cafe and both times it was closed although according to google maps it was meant to be open. The fresh market though is alright a bit pricy but like the vibe.

Great, love the quality of the fresh food and, the deli has a variety of cold cuts, cheeses and many other goodies. There's lots to love. The only negative is, it's a little on the pricey side.

Very disappointing. Stepped in to get a sandwich at 2:18pm but owner said it’s closed although the shop door was open. This is not how to treat regular customer. I Never step in again..!

Lots of gluten free food in a supermarket style store. Florist lovely. There is such a beautiful view out the back would be great if they set up a balcony with chairs and tables

They've got wide range of fresh produce that are proven fresh from the farm. Their salami are definitely worth to taste as it's one of a kind. Highly recommended to everyone

Excellent high-quality supermarket with a great variety. The attached small cafe has wonderful coffee with plenty of outdoor seating.

Great little secret on a hill. Deli is amazing, staff are lovely, variety is like no other. Just a little pricey but it's worth it.

Parking can be a little hectic, so advise parking on outside the gates during busy times. Good selection of deli and helpful staff.
