Went for passport appointment for my lil one (2 months old) and got told by lady that she can’t accept photos. We mentioned that photos were taken according to guidelines by another Australian post shop but she kept refusing on silly reason (Whilst also admitting that photo requirements are lenient for infants!!!). Finally she said she can’t accept because she thinks they are not right (not because they are not according to guidelines) and told us to go to other Australian post shop. We went to Tarneit Australian Post shop and they happily accepted passport application without any questions.

Australia post as a whole, and this shop in particular; totally useless. I’ve had packages delivered to the incorrect address, even when a redirect was put it, it got send the the wrong address and then sat in the post shop for days on end. No pick up card was left in my letter box, so I signed a bit of paper for someone else to pick up the delivery for me, and when that person went to pick up my package, she was accused of forging my signature! and after all of that still gave her the package anyway!? Totally incompetent....

Terrible Post Office. Doesn't matter if I'm home or request a leave-in-place, packages are NEVER delivered, and given that the last two times I didn't even get a 'we missed you' slip (had to find out where my parcels were by checking the tracker), I believe that no attempt was ever made. Mention this to staff and the only response is a 'Yeah well, don't talk to me about it.' If it were possible to give zero stars I would.

Nice friendly local post office. But I don't recommend going here for a Police Check if you don't have an Australian Passport/Citizenship because they don't know how to process it. Seems like a surprise that Aus Post wouldn't do better at providing services that people will actually still need in the future. Got my check online in less than a day from someone else. Aus Post fail.

Post office is not open weekends or evenings, extremely inconvenient. When requesting to leave in a safe place for delivery, it is just taken straight to the post office (even if my partner was home). Have had to take multiple days off work over the last year to be met by poor service and great frustration with Aus Post.

Rude and gaslighting behaviour from an 60+ staff member. He didnt even say hi and tried to find the package from address on my licence. Its basically 3 steps to locate a package. According to this post shop your ID should match your delivery address - first time i'm hearing this.

My wife attended with our newborn for passport photos only to be told they don’t do them and to go to Williamstown. My wife then went to Williamstown who did the photos but said that Altona does them too. A lot of running around for no reason particularly with a newborn!

Some staff that work there are beyond rude. The first time I dealt with one person in particular and they were rude I let it go, however, they had attitude and were rude again this morning to me. A little bit of customer service wouldn’t go astray.

Now closed on Saturdays morning?? The only time an office worker can go for picking up and now it’s closed! Excellent Service AustPost! I wish I could not use you but there is no choice for the customer in this monopoly.

Served quickly and both staff very friendly. I had to pick up a heavy parcel for work. Was too heavy for me so friendly chap carried it for me!! Now that's service.....Suppose you get treated how you treat others.

Love the staff here. Very quick. And not to forget the Parcel Lockers are handy. They have the early collection option which works really well for those who have to leave for work early.

The website says that Australia Post accept AMEX, I went to pay some bills with my AMEX to make some Qantas points, and they just accept cash, and debit card. Very behind.

The last 3 times I have been in this post office , to be served (or not served) by the grumpy old fart, he either needs to retire or have a lesson on customer service !!!

Should be open on Saturday’s. Some people work 9-5 and find it bloody hard to use AusPost services. Particularly when they take your parcels back to the post office...

Really great friendly service. I went to 2 different post offices to have passports processed, the Altona location staff were super friendly and very helpful.

The women who work in this store are polite, friendly and helpful. The old man, in my experience, is grumpy at best and downright rude/aggressive at worst.

I understand that older people have difficulties understanding the accents of this modern and multicultural world, just wish they were less arrogant.

Just had my ASIC application done here. The older gent serving me was the friendliest that I've encountered, and incredibly helpful.

Two of the staff including the senior staff need to know to 'customer care' they are impatient and treating customers unfriendly.

Great post office, picked up my package and paid my bills, the older man working there was great to have a banter with.
