Come on Australia Post! Home all day with the front door wide open since the morning because of the nice weather and just got a message that my parcel couldn't be delivered??? Please!!! I've been waiting for this delivery and now I have to wait ANOTHER day to be able to collect AND make the trip to the post office. Very poor service.

If I could select ZERO stars I would. The attitude, energy and outrageous lack of respect for customers is totally unacceptable. There are numerous reviews (all bad) about Avalon Post Office...they are a service and have no idea what the word means. Avoid the place and staff and go to Newport. Appalling.

Post Office staff at this small branch are great. Sometimes it's a bit slow, usually at peak times which is to be expected really as this lovely area is always busy in holiday peaks. Always found the staff here to be very efficient and knowledgeable, and have never experienced any rudeness here at all.
