I have had my fair share of complaints about Australia Post as a corporation but also feel that it's important to give credit where it's due. Over the weekend, we received exceptional service from Beaconsfield post office - in particular from a staff member, Sylvia (apologies if I have got the name wrong!) We had an appointment for my daughter to verify her identity for a TFN application and were running late - completely my fault. And yet, Sylvia served us with a smile and all the patience in the world. Just a small step in my teenage daughter starting her first job and a small kindnesses like this go a long way. Australia Post may be a big corporate organisation but Beaconsfield Post Office definitely has a human, community feel. Much appreciated

If I could give 0 stars I would! The employee by the name of Enrico was absolutely horrible to me! I was trying to get my passport documents done and because it was my first time getting one, I apparently filled out the forms incorrectly! He shouted at me and humiliated me, he called me dumb, he asked if I spoke English and if I understood English! I’m Australian born!!! He was racist because my mother was with me also applying- however she wears a head scarf! Absolutely racist, absolutely terrible service and happy to yell at you and make you feel less than. But to the manager (lady) who jumped in to help me when she saw me in tears - thank you for trying to help me. But I will not be back to this post office ever again!!!!!

Absolutely shocking service. The women at the front give me a domestic parcel bag at $10 when I needed to go international as I am not from Australia I didn’t understand the difference, amoung filling it out I noticed it was domestic and not international standard bag like I asked she then told me I had to pay another $30 for the international bag as well as the $10 for the domestic bag as I already wrote the name. So all up would cost me $40. This is her fault and without resolving the situation I got told I had to pay $30 more to send overseas as well as having to pay $10 for a bag that I will never use. I am so incredibly disappointed and mad and WILL NEVER BE BACK AGAIN

Absolutely disgraceful service. Employees and manager are utterly useless. Employee 'accidently' cut my husband passport. A legal document that needs to be double checked. Then told me it was not a big deal they will send another one. I was very calmed to start with as i understand human error. 2.5 months later still waiting, passport office doesnt know whats happening, post office dont help. Causing myself and my family mental distress at this point as we have a holiday booked in coming up. 1000% do not recommend using this post office. Have made a complaint with the ombusdman and will be making another formal one.

Worst place to renew passport, waited 25min - 35min to only get pushed aside to wait another 10min cause there was not enough workers! They should have assigned desks for passport renewal, sending/receiving parcels, etc. it’s not nice having to wait long, I’d like to get my passport done before I leave but I can’t when this post office does not service their customers! Very disappointed in the service I have received.

Passport photo scam. Was turned down a passport application of my child saying photo background too white and photoshoped. Photo was upto requirements as checked before I went there. What a scam forcing people to take photo in store. People aren't that stupid any more. Luckily next post office accepted it. Never recommend this place for passport applications as they didn't even know the basics.

Found the staff members very helpful and friendly. Gives good advice what postage service to use. Frequent this post office as we do not have post man delivering our mails. Feels like a closely knitted community when they ask about my family. I couldn’t fault them at all. Really grateful for the services they provide us.

Terrible experience. Received a card, took it to post office on a Saturday. Guy didn't even look for item. Customer service advised the item should be there. Lazy AF staff. Not happy considering the packages were delayed due to covid and now I have to wait until Monday to pick it up.

Rude service violent staff, took passport photos the wrong size, charged the money and refused to redo them when i pointed the error, while shouting and treating to call police if i don't leave. Now i don't have images for my password that i need urgently! 20$ to the bin …

I've been using services at this post office for years, the staffs are super friendly and helpful each time! As a local resident I definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for postal services and anything else!

Beaconsfield Post Office charges $18.95 for 6 passport photos; with a terrible lighting, photos are dark and unsightly. The Arena Post Office is charging $16.95 for 8 passport photos with fantastic quality.

They don’t even deserve one star. Very rude staff and it took more than 30 minutes to get a print out of one page. It was not even busy. Their only excuse was printer was slow

Cut up my valid passport as an accident!! I have booked fights before they done this and still no passport!!! Please do not go here !!!!!

Very helpful staff, it is a small post office. Would be 4 stars if they were actually open outside of 9 to 5 on at least one weekday.
