The Belgrave Post Office does not even earn 1 star. For the 10th consecutive month, I went into our local Belgrave PO this morning to collect yet another Australia Post Delivery the Courier was 'Unable to Deliver', that was authorised for door drop-off, no signature required. Querying with exasperation why this is still happening, I quickly realised I had overstepped my lowly position in society to even inquire. I am still in shock by the way I was treated & am still shaking following the sudden aggressive escalation by the ?Owner (Full Time Employee) of the Belgrave PO. This unfortunate experience was nothing short of abusive. All Australia Post politics & bureaucracy aside, there was no interest in this Belgrave PO Employee to help me in any way to transfer the heavy boxes to my car. She made no enquiry as to where I was parked or whether I had the capacity to do the two trips required to get safely across the road & to carry them that far, let alone offer to help me at the door or even offer me a Hand Trolley to safely get them to my car. She made it perfectly clear to me that she does not believe she should have to consider the safety or concerns of her customers. This Belgrave PO Employee does not have a skerrick of integrity or capacity to appreciate the patience afforded to the incompetence ensued as a direct outcome of her apathy; Clearly evident over the 12 years we have been living up here. I have been forced to deal with & endure (the most) unprofessional, unfriendly & unwilling Post Office employee I have ever encountered. Until this person is removed, I will never step foot in the Belgrave PO, again. In the interim, we will be cancelling all of our services out of Belgrave PO. We will be cancelling & then relocating our (Paid) PO Box & have all other mail services transferred to a more professional PO worthier of our custom. Whilst we await action by Australia Post to rectify this situation, we are alerting to this situation, each of the organisations we deal with personally who guarantee door-to-door delivery & advising them to consider changing the courier they use. Thus far we have been unable to directly contact one of which, 'Courier Please'. I would not wish for anyone else in my community to be subjected to such treatment by any Belgrave PO Employee. I simply cannot imagine any other business owner in Belgrave treating any customer the way Belgrave PO treated me this morning, not to mention the countless times I've had to tolerate the rudeness & abruptness every time I have unfortunately had to go in there, for as long as this Employee has been working at Belgrave PO.

The owner of the Belgrave PO just treated me so rudely that I've put in a complaint to Australia Post, after grinning and bearing that post office owner's style for years. I was trying to work out what satchel to use for a smallish express post parcel. I was told they didnt have satchels. When I sought clarification about this, the owner was quite short with me. The owner's relative continued to sit in a chair right in front of the envelope shelves which made it difficult for me to see the products without leaning over her. I selected one and took it to the counter where I had left the item to be posted, and asked if it was the right size. I was told to try it myself. I tried it and it was too small. I was directed to go back over to the envelope shelves, at which point I thought to myself 'I'm really not okay with the lack of assistance and the short attitude here' so I turned back to the counter, gathered up my things, and said 'I think I'll go elsewhere - you're being rude and unhelpful'. As I headed towards the door to the main street, the owner then shouted out (in front of a couple of other members of the public) 'I have witnesses, I was not being rude! Don't you ever come back! ' I've been a local for 23 years and a customer of that and other local post offices for that whole time. No, I will never be going back to the Belgrave PO.

Rude, plain and simple. I unfortunately go there to pick up parcels maybe 4 or 5 times a month and every time it's painful. I'm sorry for inconveniencing them to turn around and hand me a parcel. Why own a business if you give the impression you hate the job and despise customers. A more recent update: things haven’t changed one bit at Belgrave post office. I went there a week or so back and the lady who runs the place was doing homework with an young child at the front window whilst eating lunch. I was the only customer in the shop and whilst she looked up and saw me she continued to eat and help the child with some schoolwork. It seemed like a good minute or two before she came over and grunted at me.. no sorry/thanks for waiting/how can I help.. a grunt! How can this place still be operating?!?

This place is woeful! I have to go here to collect parcels as my house is "undeliverable". The fact that the card is delivered to my house to say that they can't deliver my parcel to the very same house is secondary, so I'll move on.. The angry Chinese man who always has a headache so he can't possibly serve you has disappeared, leaving a very angry and rude woman. They always tell me that my parcel is not there even though I can clearly see it on the back shelf. We have to go through a merry dance which usually ends up with me behind the counter picking my own parcel!! On one occasion they did pick the parcel themselves and gave it to me.. It was for someone else at a different address. I wouldn't mind, but they'd just looked at my driving licence for ID and address! These lot are useless!

This must be the worst post office on the planet. The old lady sits in a chair all day playing on her phone and the young lady does the same without even a hello when you come in. Trying to find your parcel seems to be too much hard work for them. They NEVER notify us that a parcel is available for collection - we never receive notices in our letterbox and they refuse to submit it for redelivery but are only open till 5pm and like most people we work during these hours and cant drive all the way home to pick up. Shame on Australia for privatising the postal service. If you two worked for me you would be fired on the spot. I only gave 1 star because it wouldn't let me put zero stars. Clean up your act - our patronage pays your wages!

Customers are made to feel like the most severe inconvenience from the moment they enter. The staff are incompetent and rude at best and verbally abusive at worst. They regularly overcharge, and when this is questioned, they struggle to understand your question because they don't speak English very well. When they do understand your enquiry, they tell you to "go now". Avoid this place like the plague if you can, it's one of the worst places you could ever have the misfortune to enter. I'm currently looking into the possibility of redirecting packages to another LPO, as I have just been informed that a package has been left for me, and I'm dreading picking it up in several days time

Hand written note saying closed at 4:30 on window, they should be updating Google to reflect what they want to do. Note I got there at 4:35 and there was 2 other individuals who was also quite frustrated, this is on top of Australia Post delivery driver not using any effort to actually deliver the package because our front gate was closed with a latch, even though our 3 year old was playing in our front area in which told us the driver walked to the gate then went to his car and drove off. Australia Post your wasting peoples time.

Would give 0 stars if i could. One of the staff is incredibly rude and mean. I have seen her abuse both customers and other staff members previously. Today i copped it for having the nerve to pick up a parcel. She had trouble finding it, which was somehow my fault. Turned out it was just sitting out in the shop where anyone could have grabbed it. Not the first time this has happened either. Not good enough. This shop is a stain on the otherwise great community of Belgrave.

My experiences with LuLu at the BELGRAVE Post Office have been first class. I like her sense of humour and no fuss approach. Very efficient and friendly to me always, and I must say she goes that extra mile to assist me when needed. I might add that I engage her as well and show interest in her and her family, l treat her with respect and never treat her poorly. She is one of Belgrave’s characters making up part of an interesting hills community.

When I think of great service, positivity, and dead set legends, I think of the Belgrave Post Office workers, the smiles and positivity that meet you at the door are so uplifting and overwheling, youl feel like your on cloud nine, from such energy n charisma projected by both women, ill tell ya what, that type of service is not taught at schools, hidden gem right here people. Would reccomend this to anyone in need of cheering up.

The chinese lady made me shift post office at upway because she wanted to make me pay one more kilo on my parcel for 12g only !! Then she put a complain on upway's post office for practicing underpricing !!? This chinese lady have no shame. My partner and i have an online buisness and its impossible to work with this rude person. At upway, you always will have a fast and professional service with a smile

Just had a terrible experience. Was told that my wife had already collected parcel even though we still had ticket. I rang my wife to confirm that she had not picked up parcel. The lady working there got rude and short tempered with me even though when she went in the back she immediately found my wife’s parcel. Try organising you’re business and learning manners!

Surely the worst post office in the entire country. They are dismissive, rude, don't understand the processes they should know. Incredibly insensitive in dealing with deceased persons issues, can't even manage to handover parcels to you, even when you have notice the parcels are there! Go to Upwey Post Office, they are lovely!

Belgrave LPO deserves a zero rating. Had the displeasure of having to go there 4 & 5 July. OMG Aus Post need to review the rudeness, lack of customer service and poor processes of this LPO. Shocking to say at the least and sadly impacts on the image of Aus Post given that other LPO's and Delivery Centre's do such a great job.

Lulu and Muma are wonderful. I drop mail in here every day and Lulu provides a brilliant postal experience and makes my life much easier. I have personally observed customers abuse the staff as an important parcel they expected has not arrived. Not sure how that is the staffs fault. Kindness will be returned in spades....

I don’t know what all the fuss is about, Lulu and her mum are the best. I go in there with my kids all the time and she is so wonderful, understanding and helpful. No other postal worker in my life has remembered who i am and got my packages as i start walking in the door. Truly thankful for the stellar service.

I give Belgrave PO 5 stars not because it totally deserves 5 stars but because it definitely deserves more than 1.5 stars. The proprietor is usually as helpful as she can be. She works very hard to be part of the local community. And let's not forget the postie. He's a great guy and works very hard.

The woman who works at this post office has been rude to me on a number of occasions. She is a very unpleasant person to deal with and there is alot more people in this town who feel the same about her and have done for many years. Doesn't deserve the star she got.

Terrible service by post man. Twice now i have had to go and pick up my parcel that was delivered wrongly in a different suburb. Why cant the post man get this right 30 minutes drive to get my parcel when the address was right.
