One of the ladies that work there is very rude and unhelpful. I had an order that was redirected there and she seemed very rude on the phone and wouldn’t try looking for my order. I had told her that I received a card from Berala post office saying for me to pick up my package from them, and she still went on to say, I had no package without no hesitation. She then asked me for a checking number, I had an item number written on the card from the post office and she said that wasn’t it. I gave her the address where my order was sent, without no hesitation again, she said nothing, without even checking if my order was there. I called the company where I ordered my package from, they told me that the order is at Berala post office, that was the last status Of my order. Now I’ve tried calling Berala post office several times to let them know it is there, but they aren’t picking up my calls. What kind of service is this?!!!! I’m very angry and upset with this service

Worst costumer service ever !!! I went there to collect a parcel, the lady on the costumer service didn't even bother to check my address details and tracking number before falsely saying the parcel wasn't delivered there. Her speaking manner with the costumer was very very rude mostly giving just a single word as a reply to everything and just don't even want to explain what she is saying. She has Zero dedication towards her work. Such type of rude manner and behaviour is not expected from the people working in a public places, these kind of people shouldn't even be allowed to work not only on a costumer service but from everywhere these behaviour is just unacceptable !!! Even 1 Star ⭐ rating is very very undeserved for them, if I could give My rating for the place would be minus infinity for such manner and services !!

All 3 ladies that tend to this Post Office are the most amazing, kind and beautiful women. I'm actually shocked at the reviews I'm reading. My husband and I have been taking our orders to Barala PO every day for the last 3 years and the ladies have been nothing but fantastic to us. if were short on money? - "pay tomorrow it's no problem", long que? "they'll help us on the side". They've taught us so much and have generously helped us for so long. we have gone to Auburn PO a few times and have NEVER recieved anywhere near the same experience. Will always go to Barala, their amazing service and friendliness is unmatched. THANK YOU LADIESSSS!!!

They're pretty rude.. I try to avoid the place but on occasion where I'm desperate I will go there... But I have never had a good experience at this place. Some things needing to be processed at the post office just isn't as easy and straight forward for the average person, yet I was met with a really foul attitude form the lady at the counter who kept saying things like "obviously". When I tried asking for some specifics on what to do, she was vague and wasn't helpful at all. The service is just sh*t, and you leave the place feeling like cr*p every time. Hi to lidcombe PO instead. They serve you without the bad attitude.

Worst service ever.. I had an urgent parcel to go to Adelaide. Went to this Berala location Monday, 24th Oct, 1:00pm. Asker lady in counter, want to send this parcel to SA via express post. She gave me a bag wich cost me $24.80. I packed my parcel in a bag and filled in the delivery address. Hande that bag to that same lady and asked her, is everything ok. She replied Yes. Now when i'm tracking this parcel its scanning as sender not signed and sent via road service.. She didn't tell me to sign anywhere when i handed that parcel to her. Wasn't she supposed to let customer know what to do? Very poor service..

worst service ever experienced. the two old ladies yesterday at the counter were so so rude. they act like you don't know anything. they don't have any respect and they don't follow head office protocol and they ignore phone calls and stand there talking to each other instead. so disrespectful to talk to your customer in that way. really brings the brand down. she refused to give me my parcel, they need to educate themselves on head office rules because head office tried to call them to get them to release my product but they wouldn't answer the phone. absolutely disgusted with the way they treat people.

Excellent service , knowledgeable and friendly staffs. I have my parcel collect address set to Berala LPO and been there several times. Fast waiting time and always helping staffs. Some rude customers with their privileged attitudes trying to get free packagings or others without doing their homework for filling up paperworks would be seen abusing staffs here occasionally and slow down the efficiency of service line without considering others waiting in the queue. I have been using Auspost parcel collect service in different post office locations for past five years and Berala LPO is the best.

Terrible experience, the front desk lady were extremely rude and ignorant. Especially the younger desk lady with round face, playing her phone and couldn’t even bother to lift her head up while customer were asking questions and showed extreme impatience. The other older lady( they are both Asian) was exactly same rude as her, couldn’t talk properly and basically just argued loudly throughout the whole time......( no offense but it felt like she’s experiencing menopause.) We really tried to be polite but those lady were just...too unbelievable.

Went today to lodge my child’s passport application. Was served by the older Asian lady who was very rude and disrespectful. She does not know what customer service is and shouldn’t be working with customers. All because the form was missing a mobile number and refused for me to fill it out at the desk while getting served and wanted me to go fill it out and re- stand in the long queue again. Definitely won’t be going back there again. So disappointed. As a local, moving forward I will go out of my way to go to another PO instead.

The young lady is Very Rude. I am a resident since 2005, havent been to this postoffice much since the awkful experience 10 years ag which i complained about the hospitality by asking her" is this a service supposed to be" and she answer " yes, that is a service". for convenience i do sometimes pay bills here. Just been to the post office to dubmit the passport application an hour ago, the some lady serves me, and being very rude again with bad personality by turning the back to me and show me her temp. Thumb up for a great customer service Aust post. Very friendly, helpful, happy, approachable post office one ever visited. There were about four customers in the queue waiting to be served. However the post office staff walked outside soft voice kindly offered help to a walking frame senior old lady with her enquiry. She apologized to four customers in the queue for a little delay and explained that this old lady couldn't see well. The staff in this post office is touching my heart. They deserve my respect. Bravo.

The old Asian lady has made this post office the worst. This lady has to be kick out of her job. she has been always disrespectful towards the customers including me . She is there to help people and customers can ask if they don’t know anything . And this old lady thinks she is entitled to say to use their mind to the customers, be rude to them. Such as an awful service toward customers.. Needs to be investigated And message to this old lady - it costs literally nothing to be kind to people .

Rude lady working there. Told me my sons passport wasnt gonna be accepted because theres a grey background but i looked at the standards for a childs passport and they have it displayed with a grey background. She refused to do it until i argued with her about the displayed photo. Then she told me that his passport is not gonna be accepted and that im gonna have to reapply. I told her yeah thats fine i still want it sent. Passport form got accepted and came in the mail. So shame on you haha.

Honesty ! Probably over 15 years of dealing with Australia Post. This post office is one of the BEST in Sydney.. We switched from our local and travel only a few more Klm.. friendly faces and customer service at its finest. We had some awful experiences at our local Lidcombe branch, some of us would refuse to go there for fear of being abused. Since we have used Berala and we have been very pleased... if we could give six stars we would. Thank you Guys. Keep up the good work.

The counter staff are definitely getting unprofessional in manner. I have been living in the area since 2009, but my own experience with their two staff members are getting worse everytime! Clearly they sounds really arrogant and treating senior age and oversea customers with inpolite attitude. Of course Australian Post is acting like if they are own by government these days. No much of better expectation on service sector these days.

I had my passport renewed at Berala, the process was very smooth. The lady staff member assisted very well, took passport photographs and it was all done in 10 minutes. I usually go to Lidcombe PO but the staff there are not meant to be in customer service. Berala Post Office is much better. Always had a pleasant experience. Definitely my preferred Post office.

Never again i will go to this post office again.Specially if you renewing passport stay away from there.I have called australia passport before i went to this post office and had all my paper work ready and they still made it so difficult i had to go to another post office and had my application finished the same day.There are rude and don't help you at all.

VERY RUDE! Horrible people. Please just let them retire. I went to the post office numerous times to get an application done and handled in, but they kept on saying my application was wrong and aruged with me. I finally and easily had my application done and handled in at another Post Office. Its disappointing how this is my local post office.

The ladies in this shop are very friendly and helpful. They don't give me a hard time when I come in for my passport. I didn't book the appointment but they still serve me without any complaint. I rate this shop five star for they outstanding customer service. This shop is a gem of the local. Highly recommend.

The younger lady attendant there was extremely rude, disrespectful and had a major attitude problem. They are also very slow at processing parcels and mail, my parcel was there for almost a week before it was sent off. Shame to have this level of service and behaviour from a local Auspost Office.

The old lady at the counter acted towards me in a rude manner by shouting and throwing tantrums at me when I asked her a simple question. I did not react to her as I could tell that she could not control her emotions. I would definitely never return to this post office again.

The older lady has the worse customer service. After she yelled at me she went to go speak about me to customers. I confronted both of them and they both yelled back. The older one has no customer service and that is 90% of her job. She is ridiculous.

The Old lady (Looks somewhere in here 40s+) she can speak Vietnamese. I, myself as a person who is fluent in both english and Vietnamese was appalled about the way she talks with other coworkers about the other customers/people in the queue.

The staff here are efficient and have fast turnaround times with customer queries and prioritise customer service despite the huge rush in queue. Will be coming back for the future enquiries regarding deliveries.

Never had a problem here. Generally pretty smooth and polite. Considering some of the 'people' they have to deal with, very restrained and helpful where they can be, esp. considering how busy they sometimes are.

My local post office is auburn but I go out of my way to come here. I always have a very pleasant experience with all the workers. They are all very knowledgeable and super helpful. Lovely family.
