Really disappointed to go to the post office today and find them shut, even though the slip they left me says they are open from 9 till 12 on a Saturday. How are those who work supposed to be able to get their parcels if the post office is not open later during the week or open on a weekend?

New couple who own/run bittern p.o. Are fantastic... went out of their way to help have an oversized parcel be delivered to the post office and were happy hold it for me until I picked it up... 110% improvement on the previous owners... hope they stay and community gets behind them

New owners are great! Helpful, friendly & professional. My only slight gripe is the shop being closed on Saturdays, which means I have to travel to Hastings to get stuff done & picking a package up can be challenging. Maybe employ someone to open the shop from 9-12 on Saturdays?

Absolutely the best post office to go to. Short wait times even if the queue is out the door. The staff are courteous, very friendly and assist you with anything. I drive out of my way to go there. I will continue to get a po box there even though I live 40mins away.

I have seen people come and go but the new owners Erin and Jack are awesome and always looking to see how they too can improve the service levels. I sincerely hope the local community gets behind them and makes sure they are here for the long run. Postie Pete

Lovely customer service. Watched an assistant get an elderly customer's (who was not very mobile) information while they stayed seated in their car, so they could get their parcel without having to walk into the shop. Very thoughtful and caring.

Wonderful service with a smile and a joke. The best Australia Post in the Peninsula. Bitterns has a great group of small shops it’s always a pleasure to stop by the post office, chemist and new coffee shops. A real community atmosphere.

Very helpful people who go above and beyond to make sure you are looked after in everything you need, whether it be a stamp, pay a bill or purchase merchandise. Highly recommend.

This is my favourite post office. It's easy to get parking and the owners are really friendly and helpful. Plus there is rarely a queue, unlike the bigger post shops.
