Just about every time I come in here (often) it seems the staff are on slow time. I know there’s staff-to-customer rapport, but when the queue is to the door, the conversations need to be kept brief. I don’t know why Aus Post frequently sends me notifications to pick up my parcels from here, when I address them to my parcel locker. Update: It hasn’t changed, yes we all know the impacts of covid etc, but this place just doesn’t adapt. Queues out the door and up the road, then once you’ve waited 40 mins to actually get inside to wait another 30 mins, you find out why. 3 Counters,only one employee serving, And one other employee just standing there doing nothing. I hate it when Aus post redirects my parcels here when i have a parcel locker. Ohhh awesome and now just finding out that their “system” is down. trying to find parking around here is a nightmare, super slow service and employees talk too much to the locals.
One of the staff there put my address as the recipient’s address. I didn’t realise it when I got home and checked. I had to go back to the post office. The manager was not friendly, she didn’t even apologize for the mistake they made. Instead of that she accused me of not labelling my package clear enough? My package was clearly written in size 18 font “From” and “To”. Unless you are blind, and you can’t read properly. She talked to me loudly and eventually I had to yell back and pointed out my package was right there, I could see it over the counter. Finally she changed the address back for me, but also blamed me for not checking the recipe? What kind of customer service was that? I rather go to Mascot post office from now on.
I had 2 packages to return to the same address. I was told they needed to be posted as one which was not a problem as I thought they would tape both packages together. Instead I was told to buy a roll of tape at $4.50 and tape them together myself and bring the packages back to counter. What is this? It’s a POST OFFICE is it not? Are customers expected to take the packages home to do this? OR pay for over priced tape all because this is no longer part of the service?? What a joke… is this a directive to save funds? Seriously Austpost you charge enough for postage. What the
Item was to be delivered by 23 June to 26 June. No update since 22 June where it indicates that the parcel arrived at Botany career facility. Called Aus Post on 2 July to state that I can personally go and collect this item only to have the customer service tell me this is not possible. What's more pathetic is they told me to wait till 10 July before they will investigate this matter. Something that already has been delayed by 10 days should automatically be considered a concern and be looked at, but. AUS post being Aus post, does NOTHING!
Quick and efficient service and knowledgeable staff. All sorts of packaging options for domestic and international post and parcels. Assorted items for sale typical of a post office including stationary, store gift cards, greeting cards and wrapping paper as well as travel items. 15min parking available on the street and the Post Office as three customer parking spots as well that move through pretty quick
If I could leave less i would. Yhere is an older man there who is great. The woman who I assyme is the manager based on the arrogance she presents is unpleasant, unhelpful and overall I could only assume hates her job based o the level of venom you get for being a customer needing to pick up a package. Add onto that the usually unhelpful hours of operation and I am so thankful to be moving out of the area
Service was to slow, and the lady manager is rude and ignorant. They really don't care whether there is a long line or not, not trying their best to make the service even quicker and efficient. They just moving so slowly, like intentionally doing it so customers would go away by themselves, because people have to wait 30 mins or even more just to drop a parcel. Horrible
Good post office but the new staff arent too great. The ones that have been there for the majority of the time are the nicest and friendliest people, whereas the newer staff members are too strict and quick to get things done as if they had only 20 seconds to answer each customer. Nonetheless its exceptional most of the time because the good staff are usually working.
I was being served by Stella, who is the branch manager. She was rude, aggressive and hopeless and at the end, dropped my parcel on the floor, I wish zero star was an option but unfortunately is not. Not really sure why such people can get a job dealing with customers, and climb he ladder up to become a manager.....
My experiences here have been positive and the staff here and always nice and pleasant to deal with here. Seems like those who are pressed for time try to cut in line or get upset about it when told to go to queue, which is ridiculous. I’m glad there’s a PO close to me and I’m grateful for their staff & services.
AP shops are always well run and this one is no different. The shop manager knows my name and gets my articles without me even saying, I don't even really go there that often so I presume he and other staff remember the names and addresses of many locals who come there from time to time. That is impressive
The staff here are really friendly, professional and efficient. This is not my local post office but I will drive here simply because it is a far more pleasant experience than going to my local one (e.g., for passport applications, posting parcels).
Still waiting for a parcel booked on Sunday, today is Friday and there is nothing to be found, not an even please pick up from botany card in my letter box ! Disgusting for an old woman like me , who can’t leave her home. , due to disability!?
Absolutely useless. Doesn't deliver to physical addresses and doesn't notify when a parcel is there for pick up even when it is a business. Aus Post we deliver - apparently not. Satisfaction zero - pity there is no negative rating.
Great and efficient service despite the manager and staff are always busy with constant long line of customers waiting to be served. Big thanks to the staff at Botany Post Office, please keep up the good work well done
Extremely rude and not professional! Worst post office that I have visited in the past 10 years! I can't include more details in case they throw my future pacels away. This is a serious concern.
It's a lucky dip on whether you get an Australia Post worker who can actually help you and give you the right advice on their services. Generally the Service by staff is hit or miss.
this is my local PO and I very thankful that it is. The staff are always helpful, the queues are short and the service is of a high quality.
They are the worst post shop you could go to Bloody useless Avoid if possible Go to mascot it has horrible parking but service is better
Can’t understand why this post office isn’t open on a Saturday? Even for a few hours. Super inconvenient for full time workers.
Shamefully understaffed on Saturday’s so wait is ridiculous. I would not recommend doing any PO business other than a weekday.
