This has been my local P.O for 1 year now and the best out of the several I’ve had. Why? Their Parcel Collect system is great to ensure my parcels of large makeup orders don’t get stolen or damaged, love the early opening time which really helps us who work a lot & recently I had to urgently send out some express mail but had to photocopy & print pages from my email to accompany my forms, I mean… who owns a printer anymore?! I was so relieved to learn that I can complete the same tasks that I can at Officeworks but at a location, much closer to home which is convenient for me in my business. I appreciate they still take cash because it is to my understanding. Manly post office are cashless and the staff are always so kind, even when working under pressure During peak periods.

I received a notice for an express post in my PO box on a Tuesday and went to retrieve it at the counter. I was wondering why they did not put it in my PO box directly. The lady owner asked their employee to look for it. The employee said, the notice was a mistake and that there was no such express post. It was only after I insisted that they look for it because I was waiting for some documents I needed for a Tribunal hearing , that they made an effort, and thereafter found it. This is a lesson not to readily take their word, if they tell you, there is no mail for you, despite their own notice.

Would give this zero stars if possible. Zero customer service or manners. Utterly rude, unhelpful and plain unnecessary. The lady owner barks at you in as few words as possible. When trying to help her find parcels by giving more info about when they would have arrived (as I could see her struggling) I just heard back " I'm looking I'm looking!!" Then I asked were there no more for me, as I was expecting a few at the same time. "That's it!" without even having the courtesy to check her untidy mess of parcels again.

Well, from the below reviews, it is pretty clear that the lady who works at the News Agency does not have any customer service skills as well as etiquette. I live 10 meters from this shop but I will definitely not be going back to this store. POST OFFICE, please work to have your reputation working for you and have some training and language skills properly addressed to your employees. Can't wait for a developer to just buy the entire lot and get rid of the whole business.

The Indian lady is one of the most rude and unprofessional people I have come across. Doesn't even say hello, just stares down at you like you're nothing until you ask for what you need and then will just grunt at you. I have to go here to pick up parcels all the time and I've never heard her say thank you. If I could give zero stars I would. Not sure what her problem is but she should get out of the customer service industry.

This lady named Chetna does not deserve to be dealing directly with customers in anyway. She doesn't have the basic etiquettes and manners. Whether it is speaking to the customers or her own staff. I actually pity the staff who have to deal with her on daily basis. She treats them like servants. Yells at them. Surprisingly she treats her customers in the same manner. What's all the arrogance about lady?

The Indian woman owner is consistently rude, off hand and unhelpful - no matter how pleasantly you address her. Over two weeks ago I asked for an airmail sticker for the card I was posting to Canada - "Not necessary" she snapped in her usual unpleasant way. The card has still not arrived there.......wonder if it went by sea mail? Thanks postmistress

Checked to see if my reading glasses had been found in shop as that is the last place I remember having them before I noticed them missing. Lady behind counter quite rude and very abrupt. “No” she said without even checking out back. Not very friendly. If anybody found them please leave a note in reviews. They were in a multi coloured glasses case.

If this review was to previous owner, i wouldn't even bothered to leave a review as they don't seem to know/understand customer service basics. However, with recent owner change and new staffs, they are total opposite of what it has been in the past. The owner is so helpful and kind. Def deserves 5 rating reviews all the way!

Some time ago, before the new people, I’d put a bad review which I can’t even find anymore as I’d like to delete it. These new people are simply amazing. They are always smiling and always go above and beyond to help you. There is nothing too difficult for them. What a big difference! Thank you and keep up the good work!

My parcel has been at Collaroy Beach Australia Post for 2 weeks now and I never received a notification/reminder from them. When I called to check if my parcel was indeed there, this unpleasant Indian woman with zero customer service skills was incredibly rude to me. I wish I could give no stars.

Went in to pick up a parcel that had already been delivered. Did a quick look and couldn’t find it, asked me to come back tomorrow. Let the lady know I’m moving an hour an a half away today and can’t come back. Didn’t bother to have another look for me pretty much said to bad she can’t find it.

A great post office with excellent customer service. It used to be run by someone who did not have strong customer service skills at all so there are some poor reviews …this has led to to much lower than expected star rating overall. The people here do everything possible to look after you.

Ive been friendly to the couple working here when I go in, & in return they're friendly with me. The guy is the most welcoming & helpful. There's never much of a line up, I like it more than some other Post Offices as this one feels less rigid & more like a local post office should feel

One of the worst newsagent in northern beaches area, choose only profitable services not providing convenient services! Went there to pick up money from Western union but totally ignored and refusing to process! Very very bad attitude, the owner is not fit in service industries!

The Indian woman behind the counter has to be the most unpleasant person I have ever experienced. It's as though she goes out of her way to be as rude and unhelpful as possible. We now get our parcels sent to a relatives place just to not have to deal with her. Avoid!!!!!

I tried to get pick up my parcel and she said nothing had arrived. I decided to go back and asked her to look again and finally she checked for it; giving me the bad news that the parcel had been sent back to the sender! Poor attention

The new staff/owners have completely turned this place into a pleasant, friendly and efficient post office now. I post with them regularly because of the early open time and easy access - no longer use any other post office now.

The people that have taken over this post office. I’m not helpful at all. My dad has had a postbox there for 25 years plus and now they want to shut it off because he’s overseas and there’s no number to ring not happy.

Somebody has posted "worst PO ever" .. RUBBISH! You don't understand .. this is how we like it in Collaroy! I bet they were rude and grumpy as customers .. if you smile and are friendly, you are repaid in dividends..

Closed early. Knew I was waiting outside till a parcel arrived. Saw me at the door but ignored me so I could not even ask a question about what happens to the parcel if they are closed when the postie arrives.

Met Sheetal today the new owner who has taken over the Post Office here at Collaroy Beach. She was friendly and helpful and said she has plans to make the shop feel cleaner and updated than in the past.

The lady finally went to an effort of helping me after I pretty much bagged her politely. Watching the way she felt with other customers was hectic. Do not advise having your parcels sent here, no help.

Have been coming to this post office for 2 years now and staff have been nothing but friendly and helpful. Don’t listen to all the negative reviews, I think some people are a bit dramatic!

Ridiculous long wait time to get served. I felt sorry for the one person the owners have working here in Dec the busiest time of the year. Terrible business management.

The only shop 2019 who has a minimum of $10 on card transactions. Coupled with the worst service. Can someone teach them some customer service.
