My wife has a disability and struggled to the post office to post a parcel which I usually do but I had my appendix out at age 65 a few days prior so couldn't go. The lady was about to close for lunch and my wife explained our situation and pleaded for her to assess the parcel for post which would have taken a couple of minutes at most as we had already addressed it and all but she point blank refused and told my wife she would have to come back in an hour which she couldn't. This person should certainly not be working in an aged care area if she has no compassion and doesn't care.

The troll who crawled out from underneath the bridge and found her way into a post office to work here makes it so dreadful to collect your mail from this post office. She is miserable, spiteful, slow, and unbelievably rude! I’ve never had worse customer service in my entire life. She absolutely refused to give me my parcels even though I could prove that they were addressed to me. I would do anything to have my parcels sent to a different post office to collect to avoid this mole of a woman.

This is possibly the worst post office around. Staff are always very rude, have little concern for anyones time and it’s crammed in the back of an IGA. If 0 stars were an option I’m sure many here would give that instead. After multiple, no choice, visits here it only gets worse. Doubtful the staff or owner of this site even care about reviews as they have essentially the only post office in the are. If only there were a post office in Wattle grove we would all be better off.

It is so frustrating when the website says it's closing time yet the post office is closed beforehand. If you close at 5pm according to the website, put your sign up at 5pm. But if you're closing beforehand, if it be a few or just one minute early that you put your sign up, make sure the closing time on the web is the same. I literally race from work nearly everyday to get there and I can never pick up my parcel until Saturday even tho I arrive before 5pm.

I have lived in other areas with much better post offices, moorebank and panania are incredible in comparison to this LPO. Avoid at all cost. The lady is incredibly rude and unfriendly and I dont understand how she still has job. Also really long wait times and they shut for lunch. I am sure the millions of dollars in profit Australia Post is earning could surely secure better employees and to have more than one rude person working there all day.

If i could give no stars i would One window operating with que at least 10 deep only to find out i am supposed to pick up that parcel after 4.50pm then they close at 5 pm This post office has got to be the worst i have experienced . The previous lady was useless and they changed hands into someone even less capable of operating this establishment No wonder aus post is going downhill

Absolutely horrible customer service, the old lady is very rude. Went there to pick up my parcel, was empty so I went to the counter straight away, the lady didn’t even look at me and said “the sign behind there says I’m busy and wait in the line”, seriously this is how you treat the customers. I’m gonna make sure I never miss a parcel so I don’t ever have to see her again.

The service at this LPO flys in the face of the glossy TV adds about Australia Post ‘serving the community for over 100 years’. The best I got recently over the phone was “your parcel isn’t here and I’ve got a long queue of people”. And then she hung up. Seriously poor service. And now I’m left to waste time trying to locate my parcel.

I wish I had a say as to where my missed deliveries were sent to be picked up.I had the misfortune of having to visit this poor excuse of a post shop to pick up my parcel and let’s just say a pair of thongs would have given better service.This post office is still stuck in the dark ages.can I get my 1 star back.

How do u give a no star? i wud if i cud for this place. complete disregard for customer experience. long queues on weekend. usually one lady serving, who is immeasurably slow (btw the man serving on some days is very efficient, polite and helpful). calls always end up in fax machine.

The lady working here works under pressure and often gets spoken too rudely. I have found the Staff in the afternoon very good as a new medical condition makes it difficult for me to get there and couriers outside Australia Post are definitely not as good. Thanks Hammondville Staff.

Longish wait and absolutely no signs to let you know it's in the bottom right corner of an IGA... and yes it is slightly dinghy but is well stocked. Lady at counter did her best to get to customers. Seemed okay. Not rude or anything at all.

Had to que up for 40 minutes with about 20 in front & 20 behind ...one old lady working...absolutely typical of a government run service - same as any Roads & Maritime office...need a cut lunch

I've sent multiple parcels from here. The place is stuck in the corner of a dingy iga. The lady does her best but she is alone so at times the post office is unmanned and there is no service.

The 1 pm Lunch break is a joke, everyone actually Goes there at the lunch break to collect their parcels, the lady there is rude, and would not even listen, she just closed. Should be closed.

They don't answer the phone and it goes to fax. They always close the counter at lunch time when everyone goes there at lunch time to use the post office. What about having a 2pm lunch ?

I'm not sure why the lady still works there. She has been consistently rude over the years and nothing has changed. Makes doing anything at the post office a very unpleasant experience.

Don't expect your parcels to ever actually be delivered or for the lady who runs the place to not be the most unhelpful and rude person you'll interact with all year.

I think the lady who works here is under a lot of pressure. As a result, the waiting times are crazy long! They really need more staff here.

Have always found the staff at Hammondville Post Office to be friendly and polite. Sorry if the other comments were on a very busy day.
