there's always a few strange people who ask the post office 'when are you open next week' or something similar right before Christmas........... they are CLOSED on CHRISTMAS DAY and BOXING DAY.... which is MONDAY and TUESDAY this year...as they are PUBLIC HOLIDAYS.....and the post office is closed on all PUBLIC HOLIDAYS....... unbelievable.....you would reckon if you are Australian or you have lived here long enough you would know when the public holidays are ...whether you celebrate Christmas or not..... I have heard them when I'm standing in the queue.....crazy..... the other thing I have heard ...or I have had people ask me ....yep would you believe it.... 'Do they do Myki top ups here?' 'Where's the Tattslotto counter in here?' Wake up.....seriously ...how much intelligence does it take to work out that there is NO LOTTO COUNTER ...... the post offices that have LOTTO have SIGNS showing the WEEKLY JACKPOTS OUTSIDE THE SHOP..... and the post offices that have Myki have MYKI SIGNS outside the shop...... I can't believe the lack of common sense of some people.... or the other one .....yep....love this one.... 'Where's your copies of the Herald Sun? ' or 'The Age' or whichever paper seriously the people at the counter have to put up with all this nonsense...they must have heaps of patience

The worst post office I have ever dealt with. I sent one parcel interstate ( expensive essential oil) in July 2020. Till now mid of September, still not arrived. Couldn’t track online AustraliaPost website, no information updated since two months ago on 16th July. I Called AustraliaPost, no response other than endless phone recording. Called this office for help. They gave back the customer service number. Tried to call Australia Post again a few times, without any success. Hopeless, I went to the office again. After all, it was them handling the parcel. From other Google reviews, I found that it happens that the parcels were lost in their handling room. I hope they can show some sympathy and tried to give some assistance on this matter. No, I was too naive. The male staff was very cold and keep saying “No. Cannot help.” “Only way is to call Australia Post.” I told him that I’ve tried numerous time. “Can you call Australia Post here? “ As I thought the office must have a different portal from consumers. “NO. We’re busy.” Even there’s no single another customer in the office! Terrible customer service. INCOMPETENT. Even one star is overrating.

Michael Hodgson.....if you recall it was Daniel Andrews' Friday which was the 'public holiday'....this was the compulsory holiday.... they were closed on the other days as they were short staffed.... one of their regular staff was sick - otherwise they would have been able to open on the Thursday....so before you start making accusations get your facts straight.....they are not lazy they are open the whole year round.....in this case it was through no fault of their own they had to close the other thing is you may recall that the government created an extra public holiday last year for the 'National Day of Mourning' which was Thursday September 22....that was for the passing of Her Majesty ....now my question is what was your attitude to that? did you think that the post office was 'lazy' for closing last year?

Please don’t use this post office if you can avoid it. The staff are extremely rude. I was refused service because I needed to lodge a passport application and the worker, Russell, felt that it would take too long! How can a post office pick and choose what service to provide to customers?! Russell was extremely rude, was getting very worked up because he couldn’t handle the workload. This was the second time I was refused service because of a passport taking them too long. The guy told me to come back because he hadn’t had lunch. Seriously. They have no interest in customer service and I recommend you head up to Kew if you need anything. The staff at Kew know how to serve customers and don’t complain about helping people. Russell, time to retire. You’re not built for this gig.

this LPO has great staff - sometimes they can be busy around midday as there was only one bloke at the counter - but he managed really well I saw there were about 5 people in front of me and I thought I would have to wait a while but the Asian bloke he moved like lightning and gave them their parcels and did their bills and the wait time wasn't that long ... and there is an Asian lady that works there a lot and she is really good - helps the customers a lot with sending their parcels.. it's a LPO so they sell other interesting things like socks and toys and cards and other stuff ...good place to find a gift don't listen to the bad reviews in here they are probably in a bad mood or whatever happened wasn't the staffs fault

message to John Jordan your review was months ago but I still choose to reply ... your review is very inconsiderate.... did you bother to call the post office first and make an appointment? or were you one of those dodgy 'walkins'? the problem is every customer wants to do whatever they want whenever they want.. yes the workers deserve a lunch break....you should respect that... you may feel that you have been inconvenienced but have you thought of the workers? have you considered how many customers had gone through before you got there ? if you had bothered to make an earlier appointment to do your passport or arranged a better time ..would you have given this negative review? think about it

I hate giving it even a star. The worst post office i have ever dealt with. Has been my local for 8 years. Where possible I go Burwood road or Riversdale instead, I strongly encourage you all to do the same. I have lost count at the amount of times I've had to return again & again, slip & ID in hand only to be told "it's not here". Even when tracking number says it is. Childrens presents lost. Online orders with tracking numbers saying it's there disappeared. Having to return several times to get parcel as it lays in their backroom.. if you're lucky enough to get it. They shouldn't have a license, they are INCOMPETENT.

Worst Customer Service Ever!!! I went for my passport application with all details filled correctly as per my citizenship certificate. The counter staff was very RUDE and just did not agree with me. I called Australian Passport Office on 131232 and they confirmed that I had filled everything correctly. Even then the staff just said RUDELY he cannot process the application as he was not sure. Wasted my time! Never going to go there again for anything!

I wouldn't give it a star. I have nephews and a niece that live in hawthorn I live in perth. I sent gifts that have never arrived even times when the package tracking number states its at the post office for the post office to say to that it isn't there and other times take multiple times going to the post office for them to find the parcels. I now use alternative courier services.

Pretty rude customer service pretty much most of the time, if it's not the nearest post office from me I would not even bother to put up with their aggressive attitude. False info are given to me assuming they just want things to be more convenient for them, that's why you need to check with 131318 just in case they tell you otherwise.

Incompetent. Have several times not located packages in their possession requiring frequent repeat visits. A couple items have outright disappeared. Refuse to do simple tasks they should have no problem with, such as typing in a bill payment code “we can only scan bar codes”. The worst post office I’ve dealt with.

Post office is fine, shabby but does the job. Plus they remember me now and i dont need to ID myself, thats service people. Try avoid lunch time rush hour as you could be waiting for that annoying person who decides to renew their passport between 12-2pm when you are on your lunch break (annoying)

It has all the minimum requirements for a post office. Not much else. Staff can sometimes be exceptionally helpful, other days they are clueless. It's fine for picking up and dropping off packages occasionally. It it is really important, consider Auburn PO especially for collection.

Poor customer service was not notified my parcel had arrived 2 wks ago despite my two calls directly to Auspost and to the office location itself. Don’t wait for Auspost to notify you best go to auspost location yourself and ask the staff to check for your parcel out the back.

The staff are very polite and always helpful. Queues are usually short in the morning and longer in the late afternoon when offices submit their post and schools finish, a similar pattern that you find in supermarkets. This Post Office is a real asset for the local community.

Please avoid this post office - the old guy refused to lodge my passport application because the photo is of grey background. He then showed me the Aus Passport Photo guide which literally says ‘white or grey background’. Went to another post office and got it done in 5min…

Australia Post has to be the worst parcel delivery service in Australia. They won’t leave the parcel in our fully secured mail room, so I have to take time off work to collect my parcel because they are only open business hours. Pathetic

Worst service ever, they throw parcels at our door if they don't have fragile written on it. They most of the time just leave my parcels at the dc and dont even leave a card to call pickup, most lazy and unreliable service in australia.

Asian guys at the front do not have manners to talk to their customers politely esp the middle aged Asian guys with the spectacles and the older looking woman. Please learn some manners to have customer service etiquette, period !

They're often very busy but usually only have one staffmember serving at the counter. Be prepared for a long wait. Also, double-check the information/advice they give you. I now use another Post Office when I can.

At this branch be careful when posting parcels if you don't know the different categories - they will sell you the most expensive type (express) and not tell you there are cheaper options available.

Are you kidding? Closed for 3 additional days for an AFL Grand final... that's flat out lazy, while the rest of the country works they decide they need an extra 3 days off. Useless.

Went there on a Saturday morning 10am to pick up a parcel. Took 3mins, waited for 1min. Staffs are friendly. Dunno why there are so many negative reviews. It’s just a LPO!
