Worst AUPOST experience. The old woman was very rude and racist that she refused to serve me after 7.25pm yesterday, but I told her the map and all the business opening hours showed that it was open until 8pm, but she said 'so what? I don't have to do it'. It wasn't the first time this had happened to her, she always found a good excuse to refuse service, such as the printer not working, having an appointment, deliberately filling in a wrong number resulted in a wrong shipping labels and half an hour until off work but just don't want to do work anymore, they may seem funny but it real happened to me. I'm pretty sure she is a person who has a bad attitude to customers, extremely lazy, really rude, racist, nasty, awful, bullying the weak people and doesn't care about the other people's feelings. Won't come back ever again!!

They didn’t tell me they will charge a fee for certifying ID before the service. And the mid aged white woman with glasses refused to write her au post staff number which is required by banks to certify ID. This sadly caused rejection by the bank. Time and money spent on the 1st application totally wasted. Then went there again to pay postage again.I should have asked them for a refund. Better not to get your precious time and money wasted at West Hobart Australian Post, shame on them! JP can provide responsible certifying service for free.

9am Thursday Jan 2018 Wellington street, got a parcel THROWN at my door from post bike, scratched goods... was small enough to fit thru letterbox but he throws it at the door, whoever was working that route needs to lose his job, all posties to this area( or the same guy) does this all the time, dont go with Auspost, they're a joke and will break your stuff

The people working there don't work for Australia Post, don't deliver your parcels and have nothing to do with anything you wrote. Wellington St isn't even in West Hobart. If you want to whinge, do so to Australia Post directly,.

I use these guys all the time. Excellent customer service, the way it used to be! Fantastically collocated with the corner shop that has quality products, food, vegies and OMG the cakes| The only challenge is car parking. I reckon they should give HCC and Metro constructive pressure to move that bus stop to free up parking :) :)

Wow..best service I have ever received in a Australia Post shop. Like the other reviewer said old fashioned service like it used to be. Wish I got the name of the guy at the counter, he was super helpful. Keep up the good work guys.

Seriously the world's best post office. Where else can you pick up your mail, spare groceries and the occasional seasonal cray after work? So convenient, there should be more hybrid post offices like this one.
