The worst aus post store in all of Tasmania by a mile. They are CLOSED ON WEEKENDS and people who work 9-5 cannot go get their missed parcels on a weekend?! What the!?? Do you actually want me to burn up my annual leave to have time off on a weekday especially just to go pick up a missed package when you're actually open and it suits YOU? Super rude, curt and unhelpful staff who argue with you and flatly chastise you. Most of them are old, slow, monumentally underskilled and should be centrelink officers, metro bus drivers or prison staff as that's the demeanor you get. They taped a ripped piece of lined pad paper to the door on one Saturday which said "We are closed. We don't feel well" scrawled on it and the lights were dark inside. For goodness sakes. Think of all the posties that gave their lives in wartime to serve Australians and keep the mail running in times of extreme hardship and duress. This does not honour those brave people. This would make them roll over in their graves and weep. Aus Post head office/corporate needs to seriously investigate this branch for ineptitude and re-hire the entire staff over again and actually train them. The sour looks you get from the stale employees does not constitute customer service. They need to grow some new faces. The age of the employees means they definitely don't move at warp speed anymore, being very, very old and dessicated. It's just a bad fit for a customer service environment and one day the dust molecules will stop holding hands and they might disintegrate before they ever figure out how to use that mouse or keyboard cybernetic wizardry in front of them. A pack of asthmatic, one legged Shihtzus on rollerskates could do a more competent job here and be less condescending. Opening hours are beyond ridiculous and inconvenient to every working person and penalises us for working. Everything gets carded and they are never open. I've had countless packages returned to the sender because I couldn't get there on a weekday and it mucks us all around and rubs Australia Post's already tarnished reputation further into the dirt and they don't care one bit to fix it. Should call themselves Unaustralian Post. There's no fair go here. Just wilful inconvenience, gross incompetence and sheer lack of service. Shameful, shameful place and everyone connected to running this shambolic mess should all feel bad, deep down inside, in their most private moments.

Avoid doing passport renewals here! Poor customer service from the unhelpful bureaucratic man. Watched him charge a little old lady full price for a card-only envelope because she had already put an Australia post stamp on it. When she asked why the price had gone up, he advised her 'it was not card only because it had two stamps on it'; she advised 'just put the new stamp over the old one'. He would not.... What a simpleton. If I had not seen it with my own eyes, I would not have believed it. His female co worker was rolling her eyes. What a Muppet!

Old and super underskilled staffs, customer service is a myth... Send some money as a gift via Western Union, still waiting on it after 06 days! Did not even let me check the account details! Aus post is going downwards, noticing for last 12 years. ***I found out today that the old gentleman (basically c*nt) put it as a cash pick up, not bank account!!! Are you kidding me??? Please do not go there to waste your time.

They make it very hard to use online or even give a review. Don't answer calls to customers since corona and only allow you to use a few words for customer support. No care for your customers at all. Seems your using covid19 as an excuse to pay less workers and do less work. Pathetic Australia post!!!!

Was told the item can’t be delivered because no recipient was available. However I was at home for a whole day, delivery person didn’t even knock my door just left a paper in my mailbox. I can’t leave my house as I was injured, requested another delivery time was told they couldn’t do that. So angry

Rude- this was my reveiw earlier this year. Rude and unhelpful-nov 2018 this is my current review as I had the misfortune to miss the postie. If this was any other shop that I had any hope of bot wasting my time Emery it money too, believe I would go out of my way to avoid them.

Rude!!! You’re behind the counter for customer service not for judging people. It would be better if there was younger staff because the rest are just ageing not maturing. I really wish that I didn’t have to put up with your rubbish.

No late opening on weekdays. No weekend opening hours…Every time I need to leave work super early to collect parcels.
