I'm sure they do other things well, but I had a bad experience getting passport photos taken with this post office. I asked for passport photos for China. I was given physical photos that did not meet the size requirement (they were way too big). When I called this post office back about this requesting a re-print I was told it was my fault, and they refused to do a reprint saying they don't do photos, so I wasted $22 on photos that were useless. I then went to the LPO in South Melbourne, told them about my situation, and they really kindly took new photos and printed them free of cost without me even asking. Disappointed by the customer service at the Lygon Street North post office.

I’m rating 4 stars because it is a very close office to the plethora of local businesses that no longer support eftpos and I convenient for cash out. My card has been heavily damaged and the male worker who was very short mannered and unfriendly was a bit careless due to obviously wanting customers out so he could continue his conversation. Thankfully the card managed but I was certain at that point I’d not have access to my money when the transaction completed I will ask to see another service member next time.

Such a poor performance by the owner of this establishment!! After 30yrs of my mum being a customer we will no longer be taking our business there!! The owner screaming & yelling at us … we were only trying to withdraw money from her account to pay HER bills as she is not well & could not go in herself. If the correct paperwork was not in order, there are other ways to speak to people … not intimidate people & make them feel like criminals !!! They will never see my mum or us there again!!

I dread having to pick up a parcel if the big guy with the glasses is working. Any request I have of him, he rolls his eyes and audibly huffs like I’ve made his life so inconvenient for simply asking him to do his job. When ‘handing’ my ID back, he tosses it on the counter between us for me to fetch. It’s sad how little care for people he has. Worst attitude. I hate having to interact with that man-child.

My elderly mother has been a customer there for over 30 years. Extremely RUDE, AGGRESSIVE & disappointing behaviour by the owners who began yelling at me & my sister at the top of his lungs. I was shaken up after his aggressive performance & my anxiety has now escalated. They will never ever see us nor my mother again! Will be putting in a formal complaint with Australia Post.

I was unable to pick up my parcel from this post office within the time frame but I had called up to tell them that I will be coming after it and asked them to hold onto it. They said no issues. When I arrived, the parcel had been collected by the courier and returned to sender. They made no attempt to assist me or offer an apology. Very disappointing.

Lost my parcel Went to pick up my parcel same day as delivery. Turns out the rocket scientist behind the counter accidently put the parcel in the wrong bag and sent it back out. Now the tracking number does not work, and could be 5-7 days before another try for delivery, if I get it at all. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid

The little fat asian dude is an absolute fool. Rude, disrespectful and definitely has no love in his sad existence.. I hate going here if that fool is working, no help at all. 2 stars because everyone else is beautiful, kind and lovely to deal with there.

Staff are always incredibly helpful and friendly, so much so I have now made this my preferred Australia Post Office. Highly recommend doing business with this branch! 10 out of 10!

Great staff - on the quiet side, but still friendly. They helped me with my Working with Children's check and took the photo. Best ID photo I think I've had in my life!
