I went this post office for applying for au passport, a staff found faults in the passport picture that I got from officework properly and asked me to take a passport picture from them. They also asked me a translated document by naati although I have a documented translated and confirmed by consulate. I contacted passport officer by phone if the document is enough for me to process my passport application and I heard it is good enough. I went to another post office. the staff in Glen Waverley checked the picture with a check tool that the staff in MT, Waverley didn't check with it and document and processed without any issues. I think the staff this postoffice so greedy that they keep asking a naati translation service they have and the passport picture service they provide. Just looking for money!!! or the boss may ask this way to the staffs. Anyway, it wasn't a nice experience at all. Hope others find better later In my personal impression, the staff in this post office reminded me "Pauline Hanson" in the way she talked and her facial expression.

This shop can be really hit or miss depending on the staff you get. Sometimes they are quite nice and helpful, and while I don’t normally leave reviews, I don’t get yelled at by staff either. Trying to return a product where a consignment number was given to me, I went to this post office to get the label printed as I just had to provide a consignment number. The person serving me said that unless I had the address of where it’s going to that she doesn’t care about my parcel and could not do anything with the AusPost consignment number. I went to the post office at Brandon Park and they were able to print it and send it without any issues and without yelling at me. The person serving me was also concerned about the treatment of customers at this post office and their lack of general knowledge. If you’re doing very basic post stuff then you shouldn’t have any issues, but go somewhere else for anything more complex.

We went there to take a passport photo around 4 pm today (16th September 22) and we were treated with zero respect by the white lady at the counter, she answered all our question with a passive aggressive attitude and poor mannerisms. For every question we asked there was a blunt "No" even when the answer was yes, the lady just enjoyed saying No first for some reason. When we would attempt to clarify that "No", her answer would start with "like I said before, yes!" I will never come back, there are plenty of other post offices that don't struggle with doing the bare minimum when it comes to people and thank God for them!

Apparently ’No’ is their standard answer for everything! Went there for a simple ID check and I was told by the Asian lady that I must bring in another signed form . Okay, I did so the next day and was told I need to bring in an empty form and sign it in person at the post office! I asked if I can sign again here and they asked me to go to the library and print another form! Ridiculous answer!!! Whatever we ask they have a horrible attitude with zero respect. This makes me think if I am in a communist country? Will never go back again!!!

Yesterday I had reason to post to the USA. I was most fortunate to be served by Maria, who went out of her way to help me. I had to fill out a Customs Form, and rather than asking me to re-join a significantly long queue Maria assisted me once I had completed the form, explaining to customers that I had already been through the queue. She also assisted another AusPost member with some correspondence issues. Maria is a credit to AusPost, and management should be proud of having Maria as part of the AusPost team. Thank you, Maria!

Absolutely awful service, went in to get passport photos taken and staff were extremely rude and unaccommodating. We had to retake our photos multiple times since they kept losing the pictures and when the tap to pay on credit card didnt work and we asked to just pay in cash they said sorry cant change now move for the other customers. we had to go back in line and go through whole process with a different staff just as rude. Just really bad, never going back and wouldnt recommend anyone else to go either.

If I can, I would give 0 stars, probably had the worst experience amongst all post office I've been. The old lady is racist and forced me to buy an envelope I didn't want (I took the envelope to ask a question, and she just scanned the envelope into the system without listening to my questions). I highly recommend going to another post office.

Good location and convenient. The staff were helpful last time I went in with passports to process. They don’t control the process so cannot blame them following procedures. They have some decent fiction books on sale sometimes which I have purchased on occasion. Can’t fault the service compared to other shops in Hamilton Walk.

Very convenient location. We have been going to Mt. Waverley for the last 4 years while working & living overseas. Staff is always helpful with our PO Box since we can only pick up every 3-4 months and even remember my name each time we visited. No complaining we are happy to keep going here. Nice area & village feels.

mailman didn’t even try delivering to my house and directly left it in the post office. i have a camera in my yard so i can tell when someone has visited. in this instance they didn’t even try to open my door in the garden and just assume “door was locked”, which was mentioned on the tracking page”

Staff ALWAYS helpful and friendly. I don't know why rating is so low. Probably you need to smile and be friendly. No? All my letters and parcels were delivered in a good time in spite of COVID and increased work load. So I must say that its a miracle to have Australian Post. God Bless you Guys!!!

Staff are rude, stood in the “wrong line” by accident but didn’t know where to stand and there was no sign ... old bag at the till who is due for retirement got real rude about it, I have never been here before and I will never go back.

Some of the stuff was really rude, no service attitude at all, even questioning the customer why not sealing the letters. Please do have proper service training here ! I would never come back to this post offices, really feel so bad!

Fillia was able to process my passport application with ease, and even took another set of photos to make doubly sure that the application would go through. Would recommend getting an appointment with her for all passports!

Pay extra for express post then the delivery guy leaves a note at your house at 10am while I was home to say I cannot pick the parcel up until 6pm on a Friday when the post offices shuts at 430... Useless!!!

Certainly not the worst post office I've been to, as some others seem to be saying here. Very happy with the location, stock and services. No complaints at all. It's just a post office, not a 5-star hotel.

I've only ever had good experiences with this post office. I dunno why the other reviews are so negative. I always get the assistance I need and I'm out of there without any time wasted.

This is a little post office and thereby the operating hours are limited. If you need to pick up a parcel before opening hours you will need to buzz them and use the small door.

Terrible experience with a chinese woman! She obviously didn't know how to do her work. I felt I was talking to someone who has never been trained. It's just waste of time.
