I was pre-warned moving to the area about the “guy at the post office” laughed it off cause surly he can’t be that bad… unfortunately he is, been a handful of times each time it’s so nerve wracking the aggressive tones and slamming of my items. Went today as I got a notification that my parcel was ready for collection after 4… went after 4 he hadn’t processed my package and refused to look for it, even though it was there. Told me to come back another day. Yet pretty unhelpful when it’s only open until 5:30pm which is during work hours. As soon as I mention my post office to people they go ohhhhh with that guy :( anyway here’s my pre warning for others… best of luck

The male owner is rude & abrupt. After having the door basically closed on my face tonight & male owner was raising his voice advising that the shop had shut. The post slip left at my property says the shop shuts at 7pm, google says is shuts at 6:30pm, I got there at 6.25pm just to be safe. The owner refused to serve me and spoke to me rudly & abruptly & continued to tell me it was 'his time' .. Everyones time is precious, how about the time I spent to drive there during the hours all correspondence told me it was open? If I had a choice at which post office my parcels get sent to it wouldn't be this one!

I think looking at the reviews this PO must have changed hands within the last 4 years because before that the reviews are good and after that the reviews are mostly bad. However it's true, this PO has the rudest customer service I have ever had. I would never go back there again. I prefer to leave my parcel there for good. Looking back, it's pretty laughable because the level of professionalism was unbelievable. I just wanted to get out of there but I think he enjoys being antagonistic. I didn't think he would pass the parcel over at one point. My suggestion is do not go.

You will know very clearly when you walk in whether you are one of their favourite 'regulars' or not. The staff behind the counter have only ever been awful to me but I see them smiling and chatting away happily to the people buying lotto tix etc. Once I even tried to follow up about missing/delayed mail.....should have seen the response I got! Other times, I have been holding the Au Post card in my hand and have still go the same treatment. If I wasn't forced by law to deal with Australia Post and their 'agents', I wouldn't. 2 stars is being generous IMHO.

Staff must have changed. I came in to hand back a Foxtel box. I had misunderstood the process so some work was needed. They refused to help but sent me home saying they would accept the needed info over the phone (despite not being busy). When I rang they refused to accept it and refused to even let me finish a sentence, just shouting over me, demanding I come in, and hanging up. When I did then come in, they again refused to help! and refused again to even listen to what I had to say. Shocking lack of professional standards. Serious loser.

The two people who run this post office are so kind and helpful. Definitely my favourite post office, they always help me find the most economical way to return online purchases (when retailers don’t offer free returns). They have supplied packed air pockets to protect mailed contents, and sticky labels to reuse/recycle post satchels. They always help me pack and seal packages with their packing tape - unbeatable customer service with a friendly, local feel.

The customer service received here was shocking. The staff spoke to me rudely in front of all the other customers. After the postie didn’t leave a note at my grandmas place for her to pick the parcel up with, the service person at this shop wouldn’t adequately explain to me what I needed to do to be able to pick up the parcel. Customer service is about helping the customer get the answers, not making them tease it out like a riddle.

Wow! If you thought good service was a thing of the past, you need to come here. Since discovering this gem, I drive out of my way to use this post office. George is an incredibly nice guy (for a Carlton supporter) and his side kick Sugar is always welcoming with a big smile. They also offer amazing tattslotto syndicates - although I'm yet to win big! Pop in and you won't be disappointed!

If you can avoid this place, do so. I tried to pick up a parcel for my boyfriend, using the missed delivery slip and his full ID. The guy at the front desk threw it back at me and said that this ID clearly wasn’t me (fantastic detective work) and that if I couldn’t produce an ID for myself with a matching address, that “wasn’t his problem.” Yikes!

Very unhelpful and the owner seems to like a power trip. I wish I did not have to collect from this outlet, as my family's experience has mostly been unpleasant when dealing with this man. Judging by other reviews, I could try buying a lotto entry or discussing the footy to get better service.

Oh dear, there are some fairly grim reviews below. I've been going here for many years now, usually to buy the Age on Thursdays. I find George to be a friendly and humorous bloke and have never observed him being especially grouchy or unhelpful to customers.

Love this PO, it’s been my local for more years than I care to remember. Friendly staff and great hours....longer opening than any other PO I know of. They’re even open Sunday. Can’t praise them highly enough!

I was totally scared of this place after reading the reviews! But I had to go there twice today and the woman on the counter was super nice and helpful.
