I use this post office a lot, because unfortunately the Australia Post parcel delivery consistently don't even bother to try and deliver my packages. The staff at this particular post office are consistently rude. They've lost a package once which they only found when I insisted they get another person and go and look in their package room. They tried to tell me the package was sent back to the sender after 1 day (LAWL!) Some of the employees are lovely, but there are one or two who are consistently quite rude, grunt at you rather than talk, etc. Plenty of post offices around the place. If you have any business other than picking up parcels I suggest going to another post office.

A parcel pickup was required as the delivery driver did not leave it on the premises. My friend was supposed to pick it up on my behalf. The parcel's delay will have significant financial implications. I provided him with an authorisation form. However, the staff insisted on a printed version and declined to assist in printing it, (there was not enough time to go to officeworks and come back before the shop was closed). They suggested modifying the barcode nomination online, which I did attempt but the online system did not permit this change. Eventually, they asked him to leave, resulting in a less than satisfactory experience.

I arrived just before closing and was wanting to exchange money from my card into 20 x $10 and 20 x $5. The teller asked the supervisor who said that they didn’t have enough to service my request.. however, she said “follow me”. She took me to the ATM next door where I withdrew cash then lead me into the foyer where there were machines that spat out the $10 & $5 notes once I inserted the $50 bills. Although she was keen to get back to her PO, she stayed to ensure that it was a smooth transaction. I thanked her profusely and she smiled saying“that’s ok”... thank you again for your assistance and patience

Such a terrible post office! My advice, if you can get yourself to another post office, even for as something as simple as sending a letter, do it! the staff were extremely rude and careless and couldn't be bothered. all i wanted was to send 2 letters, and take some passport photos! You can only purchase a minimum of 8 photos.. yes thats right EIGHT! what in the world am i going to do with 8 photos. such a scam, and then they charge you almost $20 for it. so pathetic!

I ordered someone on line from Sydney I live in Fitzroy Melbourne. My package takes two days to get from Sydney to Melbourne. I know this because I get a tex saying it's at the Richmond post office. One week later I'm still waiting for it. My tracking is saying Thursday or Friday this week. That's over one week waiting for a 1 km drive. Time to employ more staff. So many people out of a job... hire! Will leave another review if it doesn't show this Friday.

The staff here are top notch. I wanted to give them a shoutout as it’s not easy to run this particular store as it’s busy throughout the day and it’s a very small compared to other outlets. One visit I was sending some things interstate, the staff who served me took time out to give me all options a available, prices and ETA’s. I came here after 4pm and there was a huge line with people lining up outside. So be patient and try to avoid the peak times.

I've been visiting this Post Office for at least 7-8 years. Never had any problems with any of the staff, and it's always been a fairly simple procedure. Sadly, my visits are far too frequent, due to Australia Post drivers not even bothering to try and deliver any packages, EVER. I've got so many gripes with AP, but that's not what this is about. Saying that, if this Post Office wasn't associated with Australia Post, I would have given 5 stars.

I waited in line for 15 minutes to submit a passport application on a Saturday - FYI, there's an arbitrary self-printed sign at the front counter that states passport applications cannot be submitted outside of the hours 9-11am (shop open until 12:30). I was told no dice - no reason given. It's a shame that their website doesn't reflect their made up restrictions.

If you want to renew your passport then do not use this post office. Brought in photos taken at another organisation and they said the photos had too much shadow and need to be retaken. I suspect they want to take the photos themselves. Took the application to another Aust Post Victoria Gardens accepted and the new passport issued in 1 week

Usually the staff at this post office are warm friendly and helpful however recently they’re a new older woman with glasses who is so abrupt and rude to customers. I think if you work in customer service you need to like people. She obviously doesn’t and her manner makes me feel extremely uncomfortable. All the others are wonderful!!!

This is a great post office, the ladies who work here are really lovely and I know they work hard. I've seen them deal with some difficult customers and difficult situations and manage them very professionally. No matter how long the line is they're always helpful, professional and friendly by the time I get to the counter.

The staff does not deserve any star at all. Extremely strict with passport photos. All three of our photos were deemed not acceptable but they were taken yesterday at another post office branch. I checked the online guidelines, all the reasons she gave were not correct.

Great post office and friendly staff. This is my local one for work. Especially the guy with the red hair, beard and glasses. I forgot his name. Made everything so easy and friendly to talk to and explained everything. Keep up the great work team.

Very friendly staff and great service. Went in on a Saturday five minutes before close to send an urgent package and the gentleman at the counter patiently answered my questions and helped me print and mail my heavy document set. Thank you!

Poor service and no patience. They claimed they notified me that my parcel was being returned to sender which was false but only found out that my parcel was being returned to sender from startrack via email 2 days later it was sent.

What a perthitic excuse for a business, a druggie is more trustworthy then the clowns at this place. Funny how packages never even get delivered and No notification except the tracking but the clowns here cant find packages

had a recent misunderstanding ALL 7/11 lockers are closed overwhelming all post offices got my goods just saturday i came few min to close and had no proper id securitywise they very strict and not hand out to anyone

Credit where credit is due, the customer service here has improved by leaps and bounds since they hired some fresh faces. Glad to see people are willing to help as opposed to being inconvenienced by your presence.

Read all the reviews, considered going to another office. Service turns out to be great, both employees are fast and friendly. 1 star down for the ridiculous price of $8 for 2 certified copies.

Never had issues with this post office. Service is always attentive and fast. Only criticism is that the shop is a little old fashioned and scruffy, but hey i am only there to post packages.
