Got an email a week ago saying that my parcel is ready for pickup in this shop so I excitedly went there to collect it. Was served by an Indian lady who asked for a "tracking number." I showed her "consignee number," "reference number," and all the supporting docs saying that it's ready for pickup since last week but all she said was "I need tracking number." She didn't even bother to check the numbers I showed her and just went on "I need tracking number." I gave her my last name as well but she said there's nothing for me to collect. I was so sad and felt clueless on what to do so my fiance came back to the shop with me and asked to check again. She then went with her line "I need tracking number" but good thing her coworker told her "try the consignee number." I don't know how she does her work but apparently she still didn't find it and tried my middle name instead. So she went back inside the storage room and came back with my freakin parcel!!! She said "they used your middle name and last name" but what i don't understand is if she used my last name to properly search, why bring up my middle name? They use last name to sort things! Then she added "see, the tracking number here is very different than your consignee number" and I checked again and tadaaa IT'S EXACTLY THE SAME NUMBER!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW HARD IS IT TO TRY ENTERING NUMBER IN THE SYSTEM? Different companies, different terms! So if you're trying to get your parcel here, tell them "I have this consignee/reference number, please try them as they could be the tracking number you're looking for"
We walked in for a baby passport photo to be taken as we were advised that there was no scheduling this. We timed it so that our baby was not going to be fussy and even considered wait time because we know it was busy. When it was our turn it was a bit difficult because well obviously trying to take a picture of a child, he kept moving his head (but not yet crying). We held the line for like 3 minutes and then a woman on the other counter told the guy trying to take the picture of our baby to do the other people first before us. I don't know if it was because we were Asian and the people behind us were white which is why we were asked to step aside? We did our wait time and we even considered their time. When it was our turn we were put back at the end of the line? This woman obviously doesn't know how difficult it is to keep a baby from crying? We're not asking to be treated special, just fairly. Definitely remembering this woman's face and will get the name later to update this review.
The worst staff members I have ever encountered. Not only do they lack common sense, they are rude and try to be profession- clearly fail. You should not be working in a post office as the face of it and lack customer service skills. Disgusting service, rude staff, and one of the lady clearly dreads working. They do not value your time- and will aim to seek a route that makes you come back again instead of servicing you on the day. It is not acceptable to have someone you don't know speaking to you in an arrogant manner, and that has not happened once, but more than 10 times. This is my local post office and it is appalling to see how they treat us customers. I truly wish google let me write a review for each time I have to go to that post office, because every visit is a nightmare. For the smooth running of this business, these ladies SHOULD NOT be the face of the Post office.
Went to this post office to submit my child's passport application and oh my, the two female staff there were extremely unhelpful, impatient and rude. The older lady threw the form back at me while I was asking her questions - totally uncalled for! This same female staff rolled her eyes at me when I asked her to repeat herself as I could not hear her clearly behind her mask. Overall, a disappointing and unpleasant experience. Update: My passport arrived successfully yesterday even though the two female staff had kicked up a big fuss over my child's face being too big for the photo. I had brought a ruler along when submitting the application to prove that the measurements are correct, but the staff didn't want to hear me out and just kept insisting my photo is wrong. Such a baseless accusation!
I found the staff here to be super helpful with getting our passports done. They were friendly, courteous, and explained everything very clearly from the outset. They were quick, efficient and really great with all the questions that we had. They even squeezed in our appointment after they had closed so that we could get all the kids sorted out. Best service I’ve actually ever had at a post office. Not sure how other people have had such a different experience based on these reviews, but here’s a hot tip; The people that work here are human too. So instead of treating them like they owe you something, show them a bit of respect, follow their instructions and you will probably get the service you’re looking.
Served by a lady with indian background on Friday May 14th afternoon, she was absolutely rude and had poor customer service skills. I was posting an item with a label that hadn't had much ink on but still legible, said to me she couldn't scan it. She then asked me to show her an electronic copy, whilst I was searching on my phone, she couldn't wait and gotten frustrated, then told me that she could manually enter it into the system. Wouldn't this be the first thing that should offered to a customer as a solution? She should not be working in a customer service role if all she could demonstrate is PURE LAZINESS and a POOR ATTITUDE. Management definitely needs to look into this
This place can get busy at times. That's natural given the recent population growth in the area. What's not so natural and unacceptable to a certain degree is that in our society, by now at the end of 2nd decade of this 21st century, we should NOT have to put up with unfriendly eyes and un-smiling faces and worse yet, when they speak to you suspiciously and with aggressive tone, time and again, as if they were customs officers in charge or some sort of investigation officer. It's been that way for over 5 years, for me anyway. Time to speak up. PULL YOUR HEAD IN!!! I give 1 star for the cleanliness of the store. ZERO to the staff.
Last Saturday, I visited to Rouse hill Post office to renew my son’s passport renewal we completed all the paper work and requested her to check the documents but she showed her very rude behaviour and ordered us to amend some points and today when we returned with the documents she showed us some different points and very arrogantly started to crossed whole pages and act very rudely. She was an Indian background lady who doesn’t know how to talk to and act with normal person. Never recommend anyone to go there to be humiliated. Very unhappy customer. Should be 0 review
Woman in charge of passports is useless. I went in on 3 different occasions and I was clearly in need of help to understand the process and instead of being helpful and explaining it to me. Each time I went in she would pick up on something I didn’t have or didn’t do correctly and just told me to come back the next day with that thing. Each 3 times it was something new. You’d think someone in that role would be more helpful as clearly I have no idea what I’m doing. Didn’t help either her attitude towards me each time getting progressively worse.
ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS ! Wish I could give a ZERO star. I've been to many Australia Post branch but never been told that I have to stick the postage label on my parcel then bring the parcel, all the other Aus Post branch have taped the postage label themselves and in this Australia Post at ROUSE HILL TOWN CENTRE they said to stick the postage lable yourself then bring the parcel. I've never heard such a thing at any Australia post branch. why do the staff have so much attitude? Never ever to return to this branch again
The staff was so unprofessional and not friendly. The first time I went there, they said they want a bigger box so I went to get it from the shelf behind me. When I went back (less than 15 seconds) she already served someone else. Now I have to wait another 10 minutes. The second time, they said they need additional details so I went to check on my phone. The lady made a rude comment "Sir, queue is wating". This wasn't even 30 seconds. It seems like family business and definitely they need more training. I'm not coming back.
The staff there thinks they know everything and are always correct. Took a renewal passport application for my daughter and was told the pictures don't meet the requirements and refused to process. The lady showed to what seemed like the manager or owner and he said the same. The pictures were taken and processed by a company that does this day in day out. Went to another post office in the area and no issues with the pictures, lodged and received the passport today. Never ever to return to this branch!
Lovely staff who do the best job they can :) Only negative - Passports should require appointments as they do at some other Post Offices. These people line make sure to be first in line in the morning just to hold up the line for 20+ minutes each. Either they should require appointments or make sure no more than 1 of the staff at the counter should be able to do passports. Really frustrating when you just need to pick up or lodge a parcel quickly and are stuck forever waiting for passports
I went to collect my parcel with my final reminder notice, the lady said I was "lucky" to pick up the parcel, else the parcel will be returned to origin since they claimed they have issued a first collection notice on 9/7 , but I told her the final reminder notice was the FIRST notice I have ever received. I have never received any first collection notice from them in my mailbox. She then kept silent. Their deliveries are sux and slack. Not reliable at all.
I was already in the store queuing up before closing time and by the time I reach the counter the lady says that she can't process the transaction because it's already 5:02. She relents, but when we start the Western Union transaction she says she can't process it because "middle name" is missing from the system. It's on the form but not in the system so they can't process it. Total lack of common sense and flexibility.
now, I consider myself to be able to tolerate a lot but even these clerks at this post office are too much. i come here almost everyday to send out letters and buy stamps and everyday is hell. the customer service SUCKS and even though im nice to the clerks THEY ARE SO MEAN BACK. they throw my mail back to me and bend my mail like crazy like did you not see the 'don't bend' sign on the envelope. outrageous.
The Indian lady was extremely rude, I showed her a barcode for a return postage and it appeared black. That's just how it appears and there's nothing I can do to change that and she rudely tells me to make it white but I said "I can't change it." After she frustratingly tells me to just read the number below the barcode. That's her job to do not mine. The whole time she gave me attitude.
The service each time I’ve been here has been unfriendly. One of the ladies who work there is so brash, like she hates being there. I tried to avoid this Aus post as much as I can but occasionally have to go there is my package was dropped off. But I’d happily drive the opposite direction of where I need to be if I needed to go to the post office just to avoid this one.
This place always has a queue and the staff are not all very nice. In all the times I've been there has always been rude staff. They always have special things for sale. It is convenient if you're at Rouse Hill shopping complex as this is situated opposite the gift shop and next to BigW so if you have just done Christmas shopping that need posting it's convenient.
I have been a regular at this Post outlet since 2011.. The three ladies at the counter are EXCELLENT! They have assisted my family with Passport applications, they have advised me countless times on courier options as I often send parcels overseas. They know me and other regulars by name and they are very efficient and accommodating We love them!.
We pre-ordered money for an overseas trip, which is meant to take 2-3 business days. After 5 days we went in and they told us to wait for the confirmation message. Then we rang the head office and apparently it had been delivered within the 2-3 days but they didn't tell us. I guess there's a reason why they have 2 stars.
They waste people's time. They don't get the work done. I went there 3 times for a passport interview and every time they find a reason to send me back. When I asked them why didn't you tell me this last time, she says I don't remember. The lady is very rude and disrespectful. Very unprofessional and unhelpful.
Don't know why everyone is leaving 1 star reviews; the literacy levels of some reviewers make me worry more for their children than this post office. I've never had issues with the staff here. Does get busy at times, but so does every post office. Perhaps avoid the lunch hour rush.....?
Very rude staff, i got the passport photos from govt approved shop. Photos were very clear and they argued and insisted to point out that they are not very clear and added a note on my application that photos are not clear which after a week rejected.
Worst clerk I have ever met.Be ware of the indian female clerk.She really has Rubbish attitude and is Blind. Even I showed my ID that written the address on it, she still didn’t allow me to pick up the parcel and further integrated me like a police.
I recieved an sms saying my package was ready to pickup. I shoot up there to get it before taking the kids to sport and, "Oh sorry we haven't had time to sort it yet. Come back tomorrow." Don't sms if you aren't ready! Thanks for wasting my time.
The lady she always no smile never say sorry. She doesn't seem to have a passion for service. Hopefully I will never see them again as I will not be using the service anymore. The supervisor should read every review and let her adjust.
One of the most coldest and rudest ever staff working for a Post Office. Nothing racial about it. I'm from the Indian sub continent too. Guess it's a "curry thing". A little smile and courtesy is not gonna hurt or cost you much …

I found other Post office in the area are much better than Rouse Hill Town Centre. Missing bussiness standard and friendly attitude. Zero greeting skill. I always prefer to go to stanhope garden post office.
I have always found the staff helpful and friendly. So not sure why there are some negative reviews. Everyone has their good and bad days and nowdays we all get so outraged by the most trivial things.

Staff are very rude. Attempted to submit a passport application they tried every excuse to have me retake the photos as my photos weren’t taken through Auspost rather a professional photographer.

I have always been treated politely by the staff at this location. Everyone I have encountered is helpful, especially the gentleman he is so lovely and makes everyone feel welcome.
The helpful staff stayed back after closing hours on a Saturday to help process documents for us. This was despite us not knowing that we had to make an appointment for this.
The older Indian female staff always has a rude attitude, feels like she has zero care or interests in service customers. Stanhope Gardens post office is way better.

Went around 9:30am, the post office was quiet and service was great. The man working there was very nice and greeted every customer.
