Terrible experience today got there at 4:57 and the doors locked I couldn't make it any earlier to be at a convenience of the workers at rye post shop on shift today Friday 14th of June they were so keen to get home that they locked the doors and we're still there just ignoring me until after 5 and then the cleaner waved to me and shooed me because they were closed and put up 5 fingers to signal they shut at 5 so rude and I am appalled by the behaviour of the workers today I thought they were nice people as I've been there before but they are all out for themselves and don't work within any standards that I want to give my business too anymore

Extremely rude customer service by Ivy. I refuse to be served by her anymore. I went to collect parcel and she said straightup that it probably wouldn't be there. I'd receiveda msg the day before that it was there waiting for collection. She couldn't be bothered looking for my parcel properly telling me to come back later. I leave, and as I just drive off I received a msg saying my parcel is ready to be picked up. Time and time again she is rude and ill manered. If I knew who she was accountable to, I'd be sure to complain to her manager.

If you're not known personally by the staff, be prepared to be ignored while the staff have endless chats to their friends complaining openly about tourists and how busy it is. Expect to be treated rudely while being served. Also expect the staff chat to each other or friends while you're being served. Avoid going there around lunch as it will triple your wait time as they all seem to go take breaks at peak times.

Rang customer service to see if Rye post office could stay open for an extra 2 minutes so I could pick up a parcel containing medication for my husband. Of course an extra 2 minutes was too much to ask, so much for customer service. Now have to wait until Monday. Very disappointing.

Had an enquiry about a valuable parcel redirection. Helpful Australia Post transferred me to the Rye office counter number. The instant the call got through, it was hung up by the counter staff, by end of the first ring tone. Couldn't be bothered I guess.

Absolutely terrible service!! Slow, Rude and unhelpful. I drive further away now to avoid this place. Aus Post need to do mystery shopper programs on their franchises to see how shockingly bad the service can be.

I came in here during the week to collect a parcel and was shocked at how rude the lady was who served me. Looking at the other reviews this was clearly not a one off. Her customer service was appalling.

I have always found the staff really cheerful & helpful here. It is a busy post office though. If you are in a hurry, perhaps try Blairgowrie, as they are a quieter post office.

The staff at this local Post Office are far and above the best for customer service anywhere in AusPost! Friendly, helpful, understanding and above all else, always smiling!

Counter staff are unhelpful rude and arrogant I haven't been to such a dysfunctional place in Rye since moving here 10 years ago One star is for the shop not the staff
