Lovely post office and staff but, major, major parking issues. Avoid trying to park out the front of this post office if you can, drivers and delivery van staff can be very rude and inconsiderate for example, delivery vans parked across x3 parking bays, also taxi drivers parking across two parking bays with no conscience. On Thursday 1/12/2022 I observed a member of the public struggling to exit their parking bay due to a white van parked across three parking bays and a silver taxi occupying two parking bays. I patiently waited for the member of the public to exit the parking bay from the Mountain Highway roundabout which they did, I then pulled in to park and as I did this the white van decided to reverse, only stopping because I used my car horn. The taxi driver started to abuse me, claiming I sneaked in behind the van which was not true, I only drove into the empty parking bay because the white van appeared to be stationary otherwise why the hell would you try and park behind a vehicle that was reversing?!? When inside the post office the driver of the white van verbally abused me, claiming I was impatient which was not true, I am not sure if this woman was a courier driver or working for Australia Post because there were no logos on the van. A horrible, horrible experience hence my one star rating. The driver of the silver taxi was told to move his car by the male Australia Post staff member, I observed the taxi driver also being rude to him. So yes, the staff are nice but be warned, major parking issues.

When I first came into the store, I loved the vibe. But it’s ridiculous how rude they were to me about not having cash on me during this pandemic. Both husband and wife had scolded me like their child or a in-law saying “ next time bring cash for small purchases, we lose money from transactions.” All I wanted was to post one letter, and they kept saying it already knowing I don’t have cash on me. I can’t do anything about that, but yet kept rambling on about me making a purchase less than $5 through my debit. What kind of customer service is that? Who tells off a customer for not having cash on them. There’s a reason that we can pay through our debit cards during this pandemic. I just find it ridiculous how one can ridicule a customer for not having cash on them, and also speak to them in a child like demeanour.

I’m not sure where my review went, but I’m making sure people know how very rude the owners of this store are. I used to come here all the time, not only for my mail, but to buy my cute bits and pieces for my little girl, or gifts for my friends and family. I’ve been a loyal customer, for years, as I grew up in the area. I always recommended friends visiting the area to check them out as part of the nice little strip of shops and the historic building. However, not only have they been rude to me and my husband, they have been rude to my mother. Such nasty and mean attitudes, that I don’t even go in to collect parcels if they get taken there because I do not want to see them after how they have treated us. So disappointed in this, but thought the public should be aware.

This Post Office is soooo cute! Such a warm and friendly environment and the staff (I'm assuming husband and wife) are so kind and patient. Different to any other service I've had at the postie. I had two missed parcels sent there and the owner called up after hours to let me know I hadn't picked them up to make sure I knew I had some parcels waiting for me :) Can't fault, best Post Office haha.

I tripped and fell in their store, then said proceeded to laughed at me, then when they found out that i fell onto the stamps and had eaten their stock, they made me pay 9 dollars for a disposable mask

Sends all my parcels up to sassafras for collection 15min away. So much for a local post office. I live in The Basin, not sassafrass

Beautiful building with lovely gifts and stationery, helpful couple who go out of their way to assist you.
