I had a very terrible experience with the asian male staff with pony tail at WORLD SQUARE post office. I dont know if because there is not staff there, or because the manager is his friend, but i see the huge amount of complaint for the same staff and the post office still does nothing to him. I had a business account and come there often to post. On Thursday 3 March morning, i post a parcel with correct address from a customer. The address is confirmed twice by the recipient it is correct (see below picture) and it is also the public address on the website or google search. However evidence i show, that asian male staff rejects and says he cant post that. He pushed me away and after checking with my recipient, he still says it is wrong. At the time, i no longer feel the reason is correct and purely he wants his ego to be satisfied. I go to another post office and post in 2 minutes! I dont know what his purpose is, to behave badly so people never goes there again. Or maybe he is so stressed in the job that he had to put on customers. But i feel he is not only an unprofessional staff but a very bad person at heart.

Came in today around 11.30 because i needed something to be posted quick. Right when i arrived at the counter, the guy almost straight away said that he’ll be back without even looking at me. When he came back, he didn’t say a thing. Just standing there waiting for me to state what I needed. What pissed me off the most is he literally tossed my parcel on the scale to weigh it and throw the stamp on top of the parcel for me to put it on. Finally i asked to buy a padded bag with a stamp only to be asked in a pissed voice if the parcel i’m going to send later is similar with the one i’m sending now because he needed to know which stamp to give me. I might not be the best customer but i’m not that bad that i deserved to be treated this way. Luckily my parcel is not a fragile one or else i might have to apologise to the person i’m sending the item to. Was too pissed to even check the guy’s name and totally regret not doing so. Worst customer service ever received from countless auspost i ever been to

Our colleague was treated very poorly at World Square branch today. He was sent there to pick up clean mail lodgement trays circa 2pm. As per the cleanmail guideline there is no paperwork required prior nor notice to be given. We had picked up such trays in the past and never had issue. "Clean mail guideline: Obtain letter trays at no cost from your local lodgement facility". The front desk blonde girl and Asian lady adviced we do-d not follow protocol (which is untrue) and was embarrassingly rude to our colleague. Later on when we called Australia post head office we were advised that they simply did not have enough trays hence - this is not what my colleague was advised. Instead of just saying sorry we don't have enough at the moment they decided to give him attitude. This behaviour is very unprofessional and downright disgusting for a government-owned corporation.

Not that this review will make any difference, as far as my experience goes, Australia post do not care about their customers. I had multiple encounters with LINDA from World Square store and I believe she should not be working here or anywhere. She is the most rude customer service representative. Her response to missing parcel was "That is why you have to pay extra!" When I said nicely, can you at least have some sympathy or empathy towards your customers LINDA abruptly replied "What do you want me to do about it".She was so proud to give out name. I am also making a complaint to the head office. Only decent person there is Lisa who really tried to help me but limited by system.

I had bad experience with a male south-asian-like staff (fairly dark skin and without the glass) today. It was not that busy and I was the only customer in the morning. When I go to him, He acts very impatient and goes like "do you know how much the postage is". His manner is totally unaccpetable, acting like he doesnt care and refused to give me any recommendations. And then I realize he was also the one who gave me the wrong size of the passport photos last time, which wasted some of my money. So i decided to go to the haymarket post office and get my post done. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Will never go to the world square one if that guy was there.

On 17 November I had an issue between myself and Amazon, where they told me to drop the parcel to return in the parcel locker. Unfortunately, Amazon gave me the wrong information and that package never arrived. Today 27 November I went back to see if my parcel was still there, the Asian guy tried to find it and probably with the help of a manager, they found it. The manager was rude and unhelpful whereas the Asian guy kept his cool and delivered the service by solving my issue and returning the item to Amazon. I think that lady should take a chill pill and learn more about good manners. A big thanks to the Asian guy who helped me to resolve my issue.

I came here to post a review, because I come to this post office at least once a month and I ALWAYS get great service and I wanted to acknowledge that. But whilst reading other reviews I noticed a whole bunch of SUPER RACIST people commenting on the "Asian guy with the long hair". People, your elitist, self-entitled attitudes are so UNAustralia. You are no better than anyone else. I have been served by this guy perhaps 5 times and every, single time he has been pleasant, helpful and courteous. So my guess is that you're RUDE & DEMANDING and he just mirrored your terrible attitude to show you what it's like to put up with you.

Although this is a very busy post office, I have always found the staff extremely efficient, helpful and knowledgeable. Ignore the racist soapbox "Karens" who complained about the lovely asian guy with the long hair. He has only ever given exceptional service when I've visited the store. My guess is that these "Asian" reviewers think they are better than everybody else and love to look down their noses at other asians working behind a counter. You're no better. You're in Australia now. Get with the program.

This place is an absolute nightmare. If you want to be ignored and yelled at this is the place to go. I tried sending a parcel to another state via regular parcel post this asian/aussie lady kept asking questions whether I wanted the parcel to be covered with insurance etc. I said no she kept going on about if the parcel gets lost I won't be covered. I felt like I was being forced to purchase additional rubbish for no reason. For some reason I got told off for declining additional postal service.

Went there for taking a visa photo and needed a digital copy.The lady who helped me was very grumpy and didn't try to listen to what I was asking for. After taking a photo I made sure if I'll get the digital copy and she said "what? you didn't tell me. now have to take the photo again". Wow, not surprising but sad to see the level of public services. Unprofessional with the bad attitude. I'm being optimistic hoping someone from this post office would read this review and get it improved...

I stopped here to mail postcards while on a trip around the world and had an absolutely lovely experience! I'm not sure who those who had negative experiences talked to, but the employee who helped me was incredibly cheerful and nice. He explained the postal options clearly, and I was done in about 5 minutes. It was one of those brighten-your-day type experiences, so if you need to post something in the afternoon on a Wednesday I'd definitely recommend this office.

I had a very bad experience with the Asian staff with long hair tied back. I always go there to post multiple boxes and every time, he always throw my boxes and show his unfriendly attitude. He asked me if i need insurance for my post, I just simply asked how much for the service but he replied ‘what ever you want’ and shrug off without any details explained. He was rude and didnt show a good service. Next time I will report him to the manager.

Service is okay but NOBODY monitors the Covid check-in. Several people walked past me whilst I was scanning myself in as everyone should after having 300 cases+ per day. The staff does not care to advise people about it. I heard exactly one person to ask the person next to me but did not bother to confirm the response. The guy was one of the people that walked past me without checking in ....

I’m so impressed with the service here. Colin recognised I was sending a few parcels and signed me up for MyPost Business and I have saved quite a bit of $ because of this. Sometimes you have to wait a while to be served, but it’s like that in every branch at certain times. Thanks to Colin and the service team for being so efficient and for their great work!

Came in the other day and an Asian guy with longish hair served me. Asked him a question and he was very arrogant and negative. I tried to get away but kept on pushing with his questions like he knew everything and i felt like i was being interrogated. I literally felt so upset and violated afterwards. Feel like avoiding that specific auspost.

This Australia Post had 2 self service terminals inside the store as well as staff behind the counter that can assist you with all your posting needs. The BEST thing about this location is that after hours they have placed outside the store x2 self service terminals which you can use 24/7 to pay most bills and get issued with a receipt.

The asian guy with the long hair seems to hate his job very much. served by this guy on different occasions, super rude and grumpy. Got upset even with the simple question, He really need to learn to be nice with the customer, or maybe find a new job if he is not happy working with customer service. Eddie is a very friendly team member, I’ve had 2 visits to this Local Post shop ever since I moved to this area and both visits were served by Eddie. He provided top-notch assistance and was very knowledgable. I’m a regular customer of Auspost (been to many local post offices) and I must say Eddie deserves extra recognition.

Really convenient location and great service from staff. Can get crazy busy at lunch time though so try and avoid that peak time. Though they have recently implemented self serve machines to help with ease the queues.
