"The staff are always on their toes and ready to serve"
"Pathetic and opportunistic vendors"
"My go-to dish is the vegetarian flat rice noodles which I have eaten many times"
"DO NOT go here"
"I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! My family comes here all the time ever since I was a little girl"
The staff are always on their toes and ready to serve. There is a large range of Asian type of food to choose from. Today I had the "$10.80 2 choice with rice or noodle". I chose honey chicken with rice. It was from the bottom of the container so had a lot of sauce; it was good! Ask for a knife because those bite size pieces are often huge and not bite size! I find the Singaporean noodles tasty some days but usually too powdery, unfortunately, because it would be my first choice otherwise. Charging so much for using a credit card is not good. We have been customers for over 15 years.
Pathetic and opportunistic vendors. Ordering their chicken rice dish and asking if I could have the sauce on the side would cost me an extra 20c per container (which was the size of thimble). Given that the dish offers you 3 sauces, it would be an extra 60c. That's not including the 30c credit card surcharge mind you. I found their lack of signage for all surcharges underhanded, and the lack of empathy from the staff (especially the manager) not in keeping with running a successful long term business.
My go-to dish is the vegetarian flat rice noodles which I have eaten many times. Vegetables are always fresh and it has the right balance of flavours and wok hei which you can’t achieve trying to cook this dish at home. The Hainan chicken is also delicious and a good size serving. Not served as Malaysian style but instead a Chinese style ginger sauce.

DO NOT go here. Absolutely terrible food. Honey Chicken was not Honey Chicken at all. Draped in tomato sauce. Chicken was not even cooked properly. Mongolian Lamb was horrible too. When they packed my plate with rice I was at first annoyed because they shorted me on the meat portion, but after trying it I was thankful I had more rice because at least that tasted ok. Never going back again and would not recommend to anyone. Staff are okay and friendly but damn the food was horrid.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! My family comes here all the time ever since I was a little girl. I always get the honey chicken and fried rice, to this day it has been the best fried rice and honey chicken I have every laid my eyes on. I have never had a bad experience in all the years I have come to Bamboo. 100% recommend go there now you won’t regret it!!

Honey Chicken with Rice
$10.80 for 2 sides and rice or noodle is good value' but food is below average. Fried rice is dry lacks flavour' soy noodles are way Too salty. Tofu is terrible it's cooked in like a sweet chilli sauce. Vegetables just too salty again beef is way too sweet lacks the black bean favour. Chicken satay was okay just could improve on satay flavour overall below average food, only bonus is ingredients seemed fresh but they need to get the flavours right.
I personally think the food is delicious, and you get a lot for your money. BUT this food does not agree with me AT ALL. I feel awful and nauseous a few hours after eating it and I have gotten more severe reactions before (same with people I know). I don’t know if something in the food just doesn’t agree with me personally or if this is an issue with the food in general.

3.2 - Very Average Food Court Dishes. I got 2 Choices with Noodle - Some are better than others. I chose the Singapore Noodles and for the two choices I chose the Vegetables (for Variety and cos its Healthy) and the Mongolian Beef. They sell heaps of leftover noodles and rice very cheap in the early afternoons. Try until you like something if Budget is what you're watching! If you're clean eating, try the Hainan Chicken?
Ordered laksa waited forever, worker gave my order to somebody who ordered well after me. When I complained the reply from worker was 'OH WELL'. Won't be going here again and will inform as many people as possible of what happened. And to be honest it wasn't worth the wait the laksa was ordinary in the end. Stay away if you can.

Ordered a seafood laksa and someone else ordered it after me but they gave hers first and when I said something they didn’t apologise or anything and their expressions were “oh well”. Was going to buy dinner from them but I rather eat a sandwich than to give them my money ever again!!! Will definitely go elsewhere!!!

I bought a box of food from here because it was quite busy and cheap, about 3 bites in I noticed something black, it was a beetle or cockroach of some sort… Turns out I’m not the first person to find a bug in their food here.

Pros: Good location. Staffs are agile and quick. Lots of good choices. Immediately delivered. Quick customer service. Name is good. Cons: Quality is under par. But oily. Taste is ordinary. Singapore noodles is fine. But the curries and fish fries have no taste. Guys please try to make better tasting food. Thanks
Abolute horror of a meal - the hor fun (noodles) tasted very rubbery and off, mongolia beef was chewy and very acidic, and the honey chicken was soggy and sour.

Hainanese Chicken Rice $13.00. Not traditional as no cucumber or tomato slices, nor chicken bones removed. Chilli sauce is good , slight kick not overpowering. Chicken nice & tender though. Cheap lunch option

Used to order mixed rice with a few dishes and it was good. Today order Chicken Laksa and it tasted very below average. It was very plane and the chicken was tasteless. Kindly review your Laksa making.

Most anabolic dishes available for only $13.50. Half fried rice & half Singapore noodles with the two toppings of honey chicken and salt and pepper squid (can be interchanged with Mongolian beef) is simply delicious filled with calories and protein. I recommend bamboo garden
1)reasonable price. couldn’t say it’s the best chinese food tho, you would get satisfaction for 2)quick and 3)full lunch. I recommend “singapore noodles(curry flavour), fried honey pork(not sure the name) w/ sauce and chicken cashew nut.
Ate here for over 20 years. The best is hainan chicken rice

Located in food court. Very busy take away. 2 choices $10.50. After taste is very salty. I think they put lots of MSG. If you need to feed up your stomach bit don’t want to pay too much this is a good choice.
Really like the Hainan chicken. Although it is not "authentic" style it's still really good. The rest of the menu options are regular food court fare Rating 4 for the hainan chicken, 3 for everything else
Great tasting food, honey chicken is one of the best I have tasted. Great prices, friendly service. Would highly recommend this place.

Who charges 30 cents for eftpos these days? This is why you loose all of your customers to "kens bento" they are much cheaper, quality is better, and no eftpos minimum or surcharge!!!
Not the tastiest but definitely wonderful for a cheap and quick bite. They offer happy hours even earlier like around 1:30pm, which is good for me. Horriken stir fried noodles for $4
We were at Macquarie Centre one day and decided to try this food court joint for a quick lunch. I ordered the Hainan Chicken and my friend ordered two of the choices with rice.
This place is very good for food court takeaway, do people expect it to get their minds blown for the price they pay. It’s always fresh and always comes in a generous serving.
Very western style dishes but if you swing by after 4 they are selling them prepackaged for very cheap. Taken for what it is, food court food, it is filling and fast.
For best value and taste - order hoi nam chicken with the works (chilli, green stuff and soy sauce) with chicken rice as well of course! It won't disappoint.
Not the tastiest food you would get in Macquarie centre, but it worth the price and it is great place to go when you only have half hour break
Food tastes bad, I can’t taste any flavor, not recommended and price is unreasonable.

Forgot to take photos but it’s Just your usual food court Chinese food. Nothing special here but I haven’t tried the hainan chicken
Have been here multiple times for their prawn laksa and it always tastes amazing! Big and fresh prawns, generous serving portions.
surcharge is $30cents for card payments , ridiculous. Food is soooooo plain in flavor that it's one of the worst laksa ever.
There was a worm in my food…… And I found out at the time I almost finished the whole box of food…… …
I don't like this kind of food much. But I tried.... Yeah that was my fault. Can't be delicious but very cheap($10)
12$ for 2 choices plus rice Horrible food. Cashew chicken is definitely not recommended. Rice is so flaky.
Please change the sauce it looks gummy gummy gummy gummy gunmy gummy! Thank you!

Laksa no good. Tasted like fish. Took really long time. 30c for card.
Nice atmosphere, good food reasonably priced with good portions
Friendly staff and EGGcellent honey chicken.
Meat marinated with a lot of soda powder.
They shouldn’t sell this quality of food
Most are too salty and too sweet dishes
Great honey chicken and great staff
One of the best Laksa in the area.
the honey chicken is really good!
too salty
