The food, although reasonably priced, doesn't quite hit the mark on flavour and texture. We ordered two chicken fried rice meals having higher expectations due to the many good reviews. However, the honey chicken was flavourless and mushy whilst the curry chicken was also slimy and bland. The fried rice, although only 50 cents more, should not be considered fried rice as it was bland, lacked any toppings and some parts were burnt. Overall, quite dissapointed as we thought we had found a hidden gem.

I wanted fried chicken and I asked her for some and she said no fried chicken but they have chicken fritter. Thinking it was nice since she was so persistent to get the frittered chicken it was the most plain thing in the world. I was annoyed af because how u gna suggest chicken fritter to your customers when they asked for a fried chicken VERY TWO DIFFERENT THINGS‍♀️ Villawood Chen's Chinese is the best in the west.I'll give one star for the cold drinks here. Really amazing and tasty food. It is brand new, fresh, and it's cooked on the spot in front you. The soup and curry are exquisite. My only gripe with the eatery is how dated it is. The walls need a paint job, or at least some cleaning as they're cloaked with dust. The staff who are very friendly and nice, should use their pay by renovating the store. Update its looks and keep the amazing quality of the food, and this restaurant will be first-class.

The food at this take-away restaurant is delicious and tasteful. All the workers are always kind and have a smile on their face. They even remember me and already know my order before I say it. They even give me a free bag of prawn crackers when you spend $20+. The prices are reasonable for how fast they make the food and how great it tastes. I would highly recommend grabbing food from there.

This is my favourite Chinese Food Takeaway and I have been going there for 20 years. Prices are a little higher over time, but its worth to pay for quality cooking.

Good fast service. Food is presented nice and quick. And food is quite good and flavour some. N you even see it being cooked in front of you so u see what ur getting to eat not a mystery cook behind closed doors 100% recomened its the best you will be back 4 more.

I love my duck and any other meal I have ordered is absolutely packed and so damm tasty. The restaurant may not look much but the outcome is what my tummy awaits and have never been let down. Keep it up and let me be the one to get it down …

Don't judge this place based on it's appearance. It is a hidden gem! Been coming here for over 10 years, Food is amazing, people are lovely.. And it is one of the only places locally that doesn't pump their food with MSG!

Reasonably priced hot and tasty Chinese meals. They have lunch specials too. Many of the local workers come here for a feed. I bought a meal from here on a cold rainy day and I really appreciated it.

One of the local top takeaway choice. Order and cook right under your nose. You can actually see they cook. Kitchen and store wise rather outdated but very competitive prices.

The food is always absolutely yum the place may look a little rough but have never eaten hard dried or food to cause me to be ill just always a pleasure to eat from here.
