Booked Tix for a gig 'Carnival of the Impossible'. No where did the gig info or Tix say we would have to sit on the floor, packed in like sardines. Twice we were told to squeeze up to make room for more people. We each had about 45cm square of space. No room to lean back, stretch out or re-adjust at all. It was so hot and uncomfortable we had to leave half way through due to sore backs and pins n needles in our legs. It's a shame as the entertainment was good. We were invited to sit on a seat if we were uncomfortable but there was a total of about 10 seats for a packed room and none available. I think the venue needs to recognize that standing capacity and sitting on the floor capacity are not the same. Really disappointed and still sore.

I googled live music n saw the introduction about this band EZNA in bar 303, it’s like a Jazz/ Blues kind of live music. I was probably the only Asian guy who would show up here but I have to say their music is incredibly brilliant, I went for 4-5 bars yesterday just finding this kind of music and failed. And this leaves me a unforgettable experience of live band music ($10 only it’s crazy) I wanted to shout out Encore, it was a big mistake I didn’t ENZA should promote themselves by posting their songs on YouTube! P.S. I think their keyboard player (Phil?) is way too good, big respect!

I accidentally walked into the wrong bar and was surprised to find this cute, retro little bar. I was greeted warming by a friendly barmaid, with an awesome dry sense of humor. The bar had an overall warm, friendly atmosphere. I wandered down the back to find a little hidden away band area. I was then lucky enough to be treated to an awesome up and coming band called "The Plovers". Overall an amazing accidental experience. I will be sure to return.

The last chance salon. I’ve very rarely been to 303 before 1am but I’ve heard good things regarding the live music both in the front bar and out the back. My usual patronage is as a last stop on my way home, a couple for the rod if you will. I’ve always had fun and find the staff always friendly and engaging. The customers add to the character of the place with their eclectic nature.

The Jam session on every 2nd Monday is brilliant. I love the grunge furniture BUT Grunge shouldn't mean grubby! The place needs a good regular clean and also need air circulating as it was very clammy and I had to keep going outside for fresh air! It's a shame because it's great dogs for muses.

Such a cool place. If the doors are open, it's a wheelchair accessible enterance and so is the front bar - however the toilets are inaccessible as they're down several steps, past the back bandroom (which is also inaccessible due to the steps). Friendly staff. Nice scotch. Great live music

Whenever I'm having a bummer night out I can always rely on the 303 to pick up the mood. Whether it's the fair prices, the tunes, the atmosphere or the talkative bar tenders I don't know. I just know my boys and I keep coming back.

One of the only places left in Melbourne where the bands aren't highly curated. Really great to see some raw musical talent and not just some band a random booking manager likes. Support local. Bar staff are so nice!

The staff is super attentive and lovely. Average selection of drinks and no food. But plenty of options around to grab a bite. The bad room is spacious and there's always fantastic new bands/artist playing
