I have never experienced such fowl customer services before. This post office has to be the worst in Bristol. Firstly the small short Asian lady behind the post office counter is so rude, she thinks she can speak to people what ever way she wants. She needs to carry out a customer services experience course to understand how you should deal with different types of customer. She thinks she can talk down to people. What happened to me is that I sent a letter 1st class recored delivery to my sister hoping that she will receive is no later then 2 days, but later reviled that my sister recieved it a week later, now I know what the asian counter staff meant when they said "do you think your letter will get there on time" now I understand what he meant by that. I still cant believe I have to give 1 star. I'm going to get to the Asian guy that is behind the till in the shop, well this guy dont understand nothing, this guy has a chip on his shoulder, he needs to calm down if he wants to trade in bedminister. The way he talks to people it comes across so rude and threatening also never willing to help. I have taken time to write this review as I want people to see what this post office is like, all the other good review have to be fake as I have seen couple of them working in the shop. Also I have gone to head office with my complaint as I feel that they do not do justice representing the postoffice franchise.

Me and my mum were really appalled with the girl behind the counter yesterday. My mum won an £800+ lottery ticket, brought all the relevant documents and ID to collect the cheque but the girl at the counter rudely refused my mum saying that doesn't speak Chinese which I find really offensive especially when my mum was clearly speaking English to her. In the end, a male colleague of hers came out and threatened to call the police. Alternatively, my mum went to the Longwell Green branch instead with the same documents and ticket and was issued a cheque without a hassle. The customer service she received there was exceptionally good, complete opposite to this Bedminster branch in the matter of fact. Overall, not sure why everyone working in this post office seem so angry most of the time and as customers we feel like we're a nuisance to them as soon as we enter the building.

I have been a customer of this Post Office for several years, sending parcels at least 3 times a week and have always found the staff to be extremely helpful and polite. I have decided to write this upon reading some of the other reviews that have been posted. I myself have been present on more than one occasion whilst the Post Office staff have had abuse and insults thrown at them for no apparent reason and I found that the staff have always dealt with these irate customers in a respectful manor. I have also witnessed the staff go beyond their duties to help customers so I feel some of the reviews are unjust...........PERHAPS THOSE CUSTOMERS WERE HAVING A BAD DAY IN GENERAL!!!!! I have never once had to complain about anything and I will certainly be a customer of Bedminster Parade Post Office for several years to come.

@Andy Truong I was at the post office at the time this happened. The lady came in alone unacompanied by anyone with her ticket and the lady behind the counter explained that her documents didn't match as they should. Therefore she was unable to cash in her ticket due to their security policy. As far as i could see the lady got very rude towards the worker and started cussing which i personally feel was not needed. She then proceeded so start shouting out how her son himself was a police officer and she was going to call him on them. The man from the back came out and asked the lady to leave the premises as she is being rude and swearing as there are children in the shop. She continued to cuss as she left. I don't understand why people have to lie on a review and try to bring down someone elses business.

UPDATE: Family member returned to this Post Office. Left intimidated/upset after being publicly confronted by the female in the Post Office about "MY" review on Google. This occurred publicly in front of other Customers, being called a "Keyboard Worrior". It appears that i cannot have a view of my experience or make a review through fear of upset. Parting words were for me to make contact. I have tried, went to Voicemail. I am even more appalled that a circumstance that I thought worthy of a review, then led to a face to face altercation making someone feel small. I never normally review, but felt on this occasion my review was necessary, even more so now. I won't in future!

I visit this post office at least 3 times a week and the staff are always so friendly and helpful - The lovely manager always tries to engage my son too (which really helps what can be a very boring experience for a 6 year old haha) It really helps the mundane task of posting parcels for my little business when you can have a nice chat with friendly staff - I don't have a single bad word to say about the place and I even had a little Christmas card last year! They really value their customers and it definitely shows :)

I had one special delivery parcel to send and I was next in line to be served ( no queue ) but the owner etc refused to serve me cos I had my two well behaved small dogs with me . The guy has a serious attitude problem as the previous reviewer stated he stares at people like they are thieves . I Won’t be using this place again .im only leaving one star cos there isn’t a zero star option

I use this post office at least once a week all the staff that work here are absolutely amazing and friendly I've never had a problem with any of them and neither has my mum i would recommend this post office to anyone they are the friendlest people i have ever met so anybody who say that they are rude are totally wrong and that's why I'm giving 5 stars

Had problems with Asda regarding getting money out, so me and my Care worker went to get money out at the post office. I put my card in, put my pin in etc only for the girl to tell me that the card was declined! Tried it a couple of times. Gave up in the end and got money out somewhere else. The money machine in the post office DOES NOT WORK!!

Wow, this is the best post office in the world. I am in here every day posting my items and have never experienced such warm customer service on a daily basis. Lovely staff who are always keen to help you in anyway they can, unrivalled drinks selection and great scratch cards. I am proud to call the staff at Bedminster Post Office my friends.

Very helpful and friendly staff you can do all the things you do an a post office. From posting stuff, paying bills, hiring hitmen, transferring money abroad and getting currency exchanged. One of those is a lie but it's a family business that's been here for years and always been decent

We had the best service at this post office. We needed our passports replaced and found it difficult because it wasn't straight forward with one of them. The lady who served us was amazingly helpful nothing was to much for her. Thank you so much …

Wonderful Post Office with great staff. I've been using this post office for the last 2 years, about once a week, for mainly receiving packages but also sending. The staff are courtious, friendly and helpful and have top notch customer service.

Hands down friendliest post office staff ever. Gave me a card at Xmas and offer me free slushies if it’s hot. I am a high parcel volume customer and they go out of their way to make things easy for me.

My mum goes in this post office 3 times a week. The staff are friendly and helpful. They help my mum out for change for where she works. I'll recommend this post office to anyone for there services.

Over 20 years I’ve been using this post office , the latest owner is arrogant and just stares at people like they are going to steal the tat that they keep on their shelves , I won’t be going back

Sent two items back to Amazon from this post office. Both arrived back at Amazon as empty boxes ! Never had anything like this from all the other shops or post offices used. STRANGE !!!!!

I went here this week for change. The 2 women cashiers were more interested in reading a book than providing a customer service. I think they had a problem with customers who are deaf.

I was very happy whith mrs bal she helped me do my application forms for a passport she filled it in for me and sent it off she was very helpfull lady very polite lady and helpful

I collect all my Amazon parcels from here! It really makes my life so much easier. The staff are really friendly, and in my experience the service has been 100% reliable.
